After having dinner I called Suzy outside to speak with her in private far from the ears and eyes of others, she had not talked to me since I was saved from that hole. The sun was hot as I stood under a large tree waiting for her arrival.
“I see you survived the fall.” I heard her cold voice from behind and I turn around to look at her.
She had her hair tied back and was wearing jean short and a white singlet and a small field jacket on her shoulder, she was also wearing beautiful flowery slippers, anyone who doesn’t know her evil side will only see her as an angel.
I frowned at her speech, she was evil, not even feeling any remorse on what she had down. “You have the lips to say that because I didn’t tell everyone that you had pushed me into that hole and also left my hands when I begged for your help.”
I have thought it over, it was because she kept stepping close to me that led me straight back to that hole and she had only held my hands because she was scared someone else had seen us since she looked around before letting go of me.
“You won’t dare!” She said icily and I couldn’t believe the guts of this girl. “No one would believe you.” Her eyes were wide and filled with glare.
I scoffed at her boldness and spoke in with my lips curled up. “If I say it to Jeffery, he will surely believe me.” I saw her expression changed, but it was suddenly covered with a burst of mocking laughter.
“He would doubt you the more, I have already made an impression on him.” She sneered and her eyes darkened.
“By what?” I raised the corner of my brow and looked at her face. “By making a fool out of yourself and pretending to be good when all you are is just an evil b*tch.”
“How dare you!” She said in a loud voice and raised her hands to slap me, but I caught it instead and slapped her across the face as she held the cheek I had hit which was now turning red.
“Don’t you ever raise your filthy hands on me again?” I warned her with a cold voice as I stepped close to her, I knew telling people their truth hurts, but I won’t let her treat me badly anymore.”
“Also, don’t approach Jeffery anymore, pretending to be good and all great when you are just a snake in green grass.”
I watched her left her cheek and smirked, there was no remorse in her eyes, rather, it was blazing with fury as she parted her lips. “You are wrong Cindy, you are the bad person that only hurt him.”
I scoffed, how can charcoal be calling a pot black, I shook my head and told her all about her lies which have already been found out by me.
“You call me a bad person.” I raised the corner of my lips and squinted. “Then what would you call yourself?” I sized her up. Everyone thinks of her as a great person in school and find her attractive, but she was only a tiny little evil that shouldn’t exist.
She was silent so I continued my speech. “You lied to me about Jeffery loving only you, I thought he told you to clear a misunderstanding, but you added to it.” I stepped close to her and she stepped back with her face turning dark.
“What would I call a person who gave him a dizzy medicine, calling it an energy medicine to make him lose the match and bet.” I made a little chuckle at her arrogance and the life she had been portraying all this while.
“And what do you call a person like you who left my hands when I pleaded and begged you to help me out,” I said in an angry and cold voice as I glare at her. “You told me to just disappear and never return.” I looked at her evil face and I saw her eyes dilated as she had just seen something, then I heard a voice come from behind. “Is that true?”
I turn my head and saw Jeffery’s eyes staring at Suzy, he was confused and sceptical as he didn’t take his eyes from her, his hands in his pocket and his gaze cold.
“How long have you been out there?” Suzy asked him and I looked at her with scorn, she was curious if he had heard us and all, how despicable.
“I heard everything, so tell me is it true?” He asked again and was so gloomy, seeing his drained face, I knew he had trusted Suzy so much that hearing all these things made him distressed.
“Jeffery..” Suzy wanted to say something, but the word was difficult, she had just been directly exposed and it should make her speechless.
Jeffery walked over to me and he looked crush as he looked at me, it was pity and sadness I saw in his eyes, he must be feeling regret for entrusting Suzy with the responsibility to clear the misunderstanding between us.
“I am sorry Jeffery,” Suzy said honestly, I wanted to laugh at her apology, I knew she was not apologizing because she hurt me, she was doing this because she feels Jeffery will hate her and she won’t be allowed to come close to him anymore and the way he sees her will change.
“I trusted you, Suzy!” Jeffery's voice was cold as he looked at her, not like the way he did before. “I thought you were a good friend, but I was wrong.” He held my hands and closed his eyes softly before looking back at Suzy.
“Don’t ever come close to me again and one more thing, I don’t love you and you have no place in my heart, there is no room in it for a person like you.” I could see the sadness in Suzy’s eyes as Jeffery lead me away.
“Don’t leave me, Jeffery, look at me, I love you and I must have you, I will do everything in my power to have you, Jeffery!” I heard her call out with a choked voice behind us as we left.
