"Valerie, Sarah will not take much time to come down, when it comes to shopping she is really quick, let's go out and wait for her," Stefan said and moved towards the palace's exit door.
Valerie didn't really get the chance to answer Stefan, but she is quite happy that she will get at least a few moments to talk to Stefan till Sarah will come.
However, though Valerie followed Stefan, being happy, she was jumbled about how to start the conversation, for getting the genuine answer she wanted to know. Is she still in Stefan's heart, like before?
Few moments have been passed both were waiting for Sarah standing near Stefan's car. Stefan was doing something on mobile and Valerie was staring at him without blinking eyes.
The time is passing and if she will be quite like this, she will not come to know Stefan's feeling for her. Valerie thought clear her throat and asked. "Stefan, may I ask you something, if you don't mind?"
"Yes, shoot," Stefan said carelessly, without lifting his head from the mobile.
"Why were you after your own family for revenge purposes? I mean, I came to know that you did so much........ I mean......."
Valerie was awkward to say what has Stefan did for his revenge when she has known everything from Carol last night.
Stefan lifts his head from the mobile but looked at the front, not at Valerie.
"After that attack on us on the way to civil affairs bureau, when I regain my composure in the hospital, I came to know that they killed you in that attack. I tried to find out about the criminal and because of some misinterpretation, I thought it was all planned by big uncle and Ronald. That's why I planned revenge to destroy them."
Stefan said it very casually and again crouch his head on his mobile, but Valerie misunderstood his feelings thinking she is extraordinarily important for him, lest why would he was against his own family.
Valerie was all set to ask him about his feelings for her, but that Sarah came to them and approached Stefan in her chirpy voice.
"Hey Stefan, I am here, let's go."
Stefan smiled, seeing her enthusiasm for shopping or something else in her naughty mind. Stefan confusingly sat on the driving seat, Valerie opened the copilot seat, was about to sit but Sarah came and hopped in after mumbling thanks to Valerie.
Valerie, with a bitter heart, sat at the back seat of the car and consoled herself. 'It's alright Valerie, it's not a big deal if Sarah sat by Stefan's side, after all, she is Stefan's legal wife, perhaps she has the habit to behave this way with Stefan. When everything will be clarified, then Stefan will be by my side again, like before.
Valerie was consoling her crying heart when she heard Sarah's voice in the silent car. Sarah called Stefan in a sugarcoated voice.
"Stefan, listen to me......."
"Sarah, please, no ice cream today." Before even Sarah could complete her demand, she was cut off by Stefan strictly.
"No, Stefan, I don't want ice cream." Sarah immediately retorts, grinning, her teeth wide.
"That's great, you are getting responsible for your health, day by day. I am impressed." Stefan on purpose used so many words to let Sarah feel special, lest her next demand can create a fuss.
"Won't you ask, instead of ice cream, what should I want?" Sarah looked at Stefan's stiff face and said cautiously. How could she forget the thing which is luring her in her mind?
Stefan pressed his lips to each other and clenched his fist on the steering wheel. "As if I will not ask, then you will not say?"
Sarah was enough of Stefan's negative attitude, her mood changed swiftly and she yells in the car. "Yes, I want to eat street food, Mexican Tacos, that's it." Sarah crossed her arms across her chest in attitude and stiffed her face.
Stefan got used to her attitude, still, he never compromises in front of her demand. "No ways it's unhygienic to eat, street food."
"I don't care, I want to have Mexican Tacos."
"Sarah, try to understand it's not good for your health, I will cook that for you at home."
"No, I want that from roadside only."
Stefan was Sarah was arguing. Sarah was so adamant today, but Stefan also can't let her do as per her every wish. When he was about to deny again, Valerie interrupted them.
"Stefan, let it be why are you opposing her so strongly, street food is not so bad. Sarah, you can eat it after shopping, no problem."
Sarah's lips cracked in so wide a smile that she got what she wanted. "Thank you, I will eat my Mexican tacos." Sarah licked her lips and made a relishing sound.
"Sarah, I still didn't permit you, ok? And Valerie, you know nothing, so please stay out of it."
Valerie felt bad by Stefan's words but thought if Stefan is taking so much care of Sarah maybe she is not well or suffering from any disease. "I really know nothing; I shouldn't interfere and annoy Stefan for nothing."
Sarah was more indignant when Stefan scolded Valerie. "Alright, you do whatever you want and I will do what I want to, got it?" Sarah slammed her hand on the dashboard, fold her hands again, and turned her face towards the window.
Stefan parked the car in the mall's parking, Stefan and Valerie came out but Sarah didn't and show her grumpy face. Stefan understood that she is in a worse mood and right now tagged as the handle with care.
Stefan signals Valerie to go inside he is coming with Sarah; she nodded and went inside.
Stefan called Sarah sweetly. "Sarah, an angel come out let's go to do your shopping."
Sarah didn't answer, just turned her face to another direction which reflected her worse mood.
Stefan sighed and again pursued her. "Angel, please try to understand whatever I am doing is for your and baby's health and you also promised me that you will not say no to everything if it is for baby's health."
Sarah got emotional and realized her mistake, but carving for street food, her mins surrounded Mexican tacos. She pouted cutely and said, "I am sorry Stefu, I don't want to irritate you, but what to do, baby wants to eat street food." Sarah placed her hand on her belly.
"Angel, I promise you will get your Mexican Tacos today by evening."
"But I want so many." Sarah first wanted to strike the deal of Mexican Tacos properly, so later it will not be any confusion.
"Alright, as you wish. Now come down fast, let's complete your shopping first." Stefan opened the door for Sarah.
Sarah shook her head in negative. "No, I will not come down, while shopping for baby you always fight with me."
Stefan sighed; he has an antique piece as a wife. "Today I will only shop for you, not a single thing for baby, are you happy now?"
Sarah nod with a wide grin hopped out of the car, and went towards the mall, holding Stefan's hand.
