Next Morning Sarah woke up first because the sun rays were peeping from the window were directly falling on her face. She made the weird face wiggle a bit, then open her eyes lazily.
The first scene Sarah saw after opening her eyes was Stefan was sleeping uncomfortably on the couch and looking exhausted. Her heart pained for him and he got up with sore eyes.
'I am so lucky to have a life partner like Stefan. He has done so much for me, even if I am alive today that is also just because of him, otherwise, Ashley's fatal attack could have been killed me long back.'
'That bitch even ruined our six months wedding anniversary, which he has plan especially for me. Poor, he bore so much on the same day. He fought with goons, Ashley's melodrama, dealing with police, I was also collapsed. After all that, Ashley, that bitch, tried to kill me again.'
'I can imagine Stefan's mental condition after seeing me in the pool of blood and after that, in the past two days, he is in hospital for being by my side. I feel pity for him he didn't get time to take proper rest and what's more than Ashley's new drama with divorce. Oh god, please mercy, give my Stefan some peace and diminish all his tension.'
Sarah's heart was sore, the more she was looking at his face and thinking about his trouble the more she was feeling bad for her.
"Angel, staring is rude," Stefan said playfully.
She was lost in her thought when she heard Stefan's voice and zoomed out of her thoughts.
Sarah was surprised at first, then she crossed her arms across her chest and said with attitude, "So what, I am staring at what is mine and it's not bad, did you hear me."
Stefan got up from the couch and move towards Sarah with so much naughtiness in her eyes, after all, Sarah's bold confession impressed him Sarah's bold confession impressed him.
"Oh yes, I am all yours and you are all mine."
Stefan's ambiguous smile made Sarah suspicious, and he winked at her while sitting beside her on the bed.
Sarah now realized what is Stefan meaning, but it was too late.
"No, Stefan, don't you dare....." Before she could complete he held the back of her head, pulled a little forward, and placed his rough lips on her rosy lips, let the rest of her words stuffed in her mouth.
"Hmm...." Sarah wiggle at first but Stefan didn't let her go and a few moments later she melted into Stefan's romantic kiss and started reciprocating it. Gradually the kiss turned in to passionate one and both engulfed in a sweet morning kiss till late.
The kiss was longer and longer and seems like never-ending, the love birds forgot the world in their one kiss but unfortunately, they have to back to their senses because it was a sharp knock on the door.
They both immediately departed, and a nurse entered with juice in hand for Sarah.
"Mrs. Sarah, here you go, you have to drink it first."
"Sister, my wife is having the discharge today, we are just waiting for the doctor to complete her final checkup and then we will leave."
Stefan thought that nurse is actually mistaking by offering juice to Sarah because they are going back home.
"I know, but she has to take medicine and also has to change the dressing of her head. Mrs. Sarah, please drink it." The nurse forwards the juice glass to Sarah, which she gulped in a minute.
The nurse then changed her bandage and make her eat the medicine.
Just then Stella, Jack, and Ronald came and behind them, Laura also entered. All wished to greet each other excitedly, they all were enthusiastic because Sarah was going to discharge from the hospital.
"How you both are doing?" Ronald moved to Sarah and asked.
"I am perfectly fine, but I think Stefan is exhausted now because of constant stress not only physical but mental as well," Sarah said solemnly, but she was sorry for Stefan.
"No, I am perfectly fine." Stefan knew she is blaming herself for his tiredness, that's why he said to make her feel at ease.
However, though Stefan was saying he is fine, tiredness was written all over his face, even he has dark circles around his eyes and he has lost the weight only in two days.
"Alright, no problem today we are going back home, Stefan can take a rest well. Ronald, go and complete the discharge formalities." Jack said.
Ronald was about to step out, but Stefan stopped him. "No Ronald, wait, Jack, I have already completed all the paperwork of discharge formalities. I am just waiting for Sarah's doctor to come and check her first, then only we can go back home."
Stefan was thoughtful, all nod their head and wait for the doctor to come.
After sometimes the doctor came, checked Sarah up, and said, "Mr. Stefan, Mrs. Sarah is perfectly fine, she just needs complete rest and a good diet as well. One more thing please keep her away from stress, don't let her BP high."
Stella and Laura made Sarah ready, and all took Sarah back to Walter's palace.
In Walter's palace, Sarah was welcomed like a VIP.
"Stefan and Sarah, you both go to your room and rest; I will send your breakfast in your room, and Sarah, please don't get down from the bed for anything. If you need anything, just let any of us know." Amy instructs her very seriously. They all know Sarah will not ask for help from anybody and will jump out of the bed to do her entire work by herself.
Sarah nod obediently and was about to step on the stairs to go up but she felt she was not on the floor anymore but was in the air because Stefan has lifted her in his arms.
Sarah looked around with blush and embarrassed seeing family members were looking towards them. "Stefan, what are you doing?"
"I am taking care of my wife and I don't want to let her waste her energy even if it is for climbing stairs." Stefan winked and climbed the stairs fast.
Even though Sarah was shy, when she looked around they were already far from the family member's gazes.
Fifteen days have passed, Sarah has recuperated well, now she is fine and her wound also completely healed, still, she was getting difficult to deal with for Stefan.
Sun rays were peeping behind the window and piercing the sleeping faces of Stefan and Sarah because the curtain was not drawn.
Stefan woke up first because his sleep was disturbed not because of naughty sunrays but because of Sarah, who was nudging her face on Stefan's crook of the neck.
The naughty sunrays were actually tickling Sarah's cute face, and she unintentionally was trying to hide her face but couldn't able to do. Her constant motion made Stefan woke up and his gaze fell on the angelic face. He kissed her forehead, got down from the bed, draw the curtain, and went to the washroom.
Back in the past, Sarah had to work hard to wake Stefan up, but now the table has turned 180 degrees and now Stefan has to make daily new plans to wake Sarah up.
