Stefan came out of the bathroom being ready and saw his angel was still sleeping, he shook his head and he called her lovingly.
"Angel, wake up, it's late."
Sarah frown cutely, turned her head in another direction and covered her face with another pillow, and said in a meek voice beneath the pillow, "Hmm, Stefu, please let me sleep for some more time."
Stefan made an ugly face, listening when she addresses him with 'Stefu.' "I just can't understand why you started calling me Stefu, nowadays."
Sarah opened her eyes, came out beneath the pillow, stretched her hands towards Stefan, and pulled his cheeks with a giggle. "That is because you look so cute, but you are so bad not let me sleep ever." Sarah pouted.
Stefan hits his forehead and mumbles, "Not again, this mood swing."
"Angel, it's Christmas, and next week is the new year, weren't you waiting eagerly to see fireworks?" Stefan thought and tried to lure Sarah with the thing she likes so that she will wake up.
Sarah didn't by Stefan's words and answered in a sleepy tone, "You said you will not let me see the fireworks because its air and noise pollution can be harmful to me and baby both."
"But now I am allowing you. You can enjoy as much as you want, only if you will wake up within two minutes, did you get it."
Sarah didn't move and answer in a sleepy tone again. "I will not go for a walk today."
When she was recuperating after getting a discharge from the hospital, because of bed rest she turned into a lazy bug. Now gradually she is getting lazier and lazier with each passing day.
"No, angel, stop being stubborn, get up and go for a walk with me. Morning walk is good for your and baby's health as well." 'This is the only exercise you do in the entire day, otherwise, you can't budge from your place.' Stefan thought but didn't dare to say it in front of her otherwise it would trigger her anger.
"Then I will not wake up." Sarah refused royally and covered her head with the quilt.
Stefan sighed helplessly. Sarah is no more like before whom couldn't dare to deny Stefan. Now the table has turned 180 degrees and Stefan couldn't dare to refuse Sarah.
"Alright, as per your wishes, I will not force you to go for a walk. Now, will you please get up?"
Sarah nod woke up lazily by rubbing her eyes with her small fist and shows her both hands to Stefan like a small kid. Stefan shook his head and mumbles "Her melodramatic act."
Stefan picked her in his arms and said, "Angel you are getting lazier and lazier with each passing day.
Sarah felt bad by Stefan's words and made an angry pout. "Oh so, now you don't even like to pick me up in your arms, right?"
Stefan put her down while entering the bathroom. "Angel it's not like that, I just want to say......"
"I don't want to listen......" Sarah cut Stefan off, pushed him out, and slammed the door on his face.
Stefan hits his forehead and mumbles curses to himself for angering Sarah. "Stefan, you are an idiot, when you know her mood swings, why did you light the fire in her brain for nothing. Now bear it by yourself."
Stefan was sitting on the couch doing some office work on the laptop but he actually waiting for Sarah to come back. After sometimes Sarah came out wearing beautiful rose pink full sleeves curvy gown wiping her wet hair with a towel. Stefan was mesmerized seeing the magnetic appearance of Sarah and forgot to blink his eyes.
Sarah moved in front of the dressing table, ignoring Stefan with attitude, sat on a stool, fetch hairdryer, plugged in, and started drying her hairs.
Stefan came and stood behind her and put his hand on her shoulder lovingly, but she jerked his hand. He again put his hand on and hold her right hand, taking the hairdryer from his hand, and started drying her hairs.
He slides her hairs from the back towards the front and his warm hand brushed the cold skin of her neck making her squeezed her eyes with a sensual feeling. Stefan noticed her expressions through the mirror and smirked.
After drying the hairs, he combed them nicely and tied them with a hairband. Then he made her wear earrings, then her gold chain which she always used to wear, and then kissed her forehead, doting her bare face. He likes it most when she doesn't use makeup.
Sarah was melting in his romantic touch and forgot that she was angry with him sometime before. Sarah helplessly looks towards Stefan through the mirror and pouts. Stefan held his ears and said sorry.
Sarah smiled and showed her hand, Stefan saw her antic with a doting smile, picked her in his arms, and walked down the stairs.
The family was waiting for Stefan and Sarah before they could start the breakfast and as they both came down Ronald started shouting, startled everybody.
"Oh yes, yes, yes, yes elder brother Jack give me 1000 dollars please." Ronald point towards the stairs from where Stefan was climbing down carrying his lazy wife in his arms.
Now Sarah no more shying girl being carried by Stefan in front of the entire family and servants and they also get used to this scene but nobody says anything to Sarah because she is the most pampered in the family.
Jack hits his forehead with Ronald's shout and Amy smacks Ronald's head. "Do you want to give ear bleed to all of us?" Amy said, annoyingly.
When Jack was forwarding 1000 dollars to Ronald, Julia stopped them from being confused and asked sternly, "Jack, Ronald what is all this?"
Before any of them could answer, Carol immediately answered, "Big aunt, they both bet on brother Stefan and Sarah that whether Sarah will come down on her own or Stefan will carry her in his arms. Ronald has won." Carol said, making fun of Sarah and Stefan and clapped her hands with Ronald.
Amy hit his forehead. "You all are still kids, never grow up. Elder sister Julia, just look at them, they are betting on their brother- and sister-in-law."
Till then Stefan and Sarah came down but Ronald, Carol, Stella, and Jack were still giggling. This time Stefan smack both Ronald and Carol's heads together and they both rubbed their head.
"Stefan, just because we are younger you can smack us, but it was elder brother Jack and Stella's idea, you can't touch them," Ronald points towards the couple, Jack and Stella.
Stefan and Sarah were bewildered that Jack and Stella were being naughty, but the next moment they all laughed uncontrollably.
