All youngsters shared a group a hug, after teasing each other to the stomach full and elders adore the bond of their kids from afar. They are glad that they get rid of the predicament of their life.
"Alright, if you all are done with jokes and pranks, then let's go for breakfast," Julia called the group of youngsters who were still standing in a hug and drown in their own world.
"Yes, let's eat breakfast first Sarah, today I made a special crème cheese burrito with extra fillings of potato. You like it, right?" Stella said excitedly. Then they all moved towards the dining table.
Nowadays Sarah is getting picky about the food and doesn't eat anything easily. She is internally weak and her diet is affecting the baby's growth that's why to make her eat properly they all try new things always with her favorite dishes.
Burrito is Sarah's most favorite dish for breakfast and potato is a favorite vegetable and mix with crème cheese is like a cherry on top, but today Sarah didn't show any excitement.
"Sarah, what's wrong why are you not showing any sign isn't burrito your favorite one?"
Stella was concern that if Sarah will not like the breakfast then she will not have anything. Sarah just nodded her head in yes, but she was not looking as enthusiastic as ever.
Everybody got Sarah to want something else then Carol came forward with a plate in hand, Sarah if you don't want to eat a burrito then try my new star-shaped cookies with the jelly center.
Carol served cookies on Sarah's plate, cookies are the most favorite of Sarah, she has a variety of cookies stored in her room so that she can eat them anytime.
Now everybody was relaxed when Sarah picked the cookie but had a very little part and kept it back on her plate.
"What's wrong Sarah, cookies are your most favorite, why are you not eating today?" Julia asked.
Sarah didn't answer anything, just bows her head with a pout. All saw this keenly with surprise.
Sarah has never done this before; she was never so quiet. She likes to talk a lot and expressively too. If she doesn't like to eat or do anything, she says it straightforwardly and demands what she likes. Today she is extraordinarily quiet which is a matter of worrisome.
"What's wrong, Sarah, tell us?" When Sarah didn't answer to Julia, Amy asked, but Sarah still didn't answer anything and keep crouching her head with a cute pout.
Sarah's behavior is out of the blue, they all looked at her face and Stella said, "Sarah, do you want some other sweet dish, right?"
Sarah still didn't answer, but her face glows like a burst of sunshine. Stella's guess was right.
"Which one, tell me I will make it for you," Amy asked, but Sarah kept her mouth sealed.
They got that Sarah has something in her heart and perhaps will not say anything.
"Hmm, do you want carrot cake?" Carol tried to guess, but Sarah kept silent.
"Alright, how about Walnut brownies?" Stella asked, but this is also not working.
"Chocolate Ice cream?" Stefan asked, but Sarah didn't answer.
"Hmm, Rum balls?" Jack asked.
"Hush, it will not be worked. Sarah, will you have White Christmas truffle?" Amy asked.
They have said several names but Sarah shows no sign; they are worried thinking this will not work like this. There are several dishes they usually make for Christmas eve how many more names they will say. Everybody was scratching their heads in confusion and looking at each other like idiots.
Ronald was more irritable, and he started saying the dishes' names without giving a break.
"Hmm, fudge, ginger man bread, apple pie, Oreo brownies, vanilla cupcake, chocolate chip cookies, cheesecake, Eggnog, Christmas brownies......."
Ronald was going on when he was interrupted by Stefan who was not only listening but also reading his wife's face keenly.
"Ronald, hold on, Sarah wants one of from your such a big list." Finally, Sarah shows some reaction, and it didn't get unnoticed by Stefan.
"But which one?" Stella raised her hand and asked.
"Ronald, please repeat your list again but this time slowly."
Ronald hit his hand on the forehead and started again. "Fudge, ginger man bread, apple pie, Oreo brownies, vanilla cupcake, chocolate chip cookies, cheesecake, Eggnog......"
Stefan again shouts, making Ronald stop. "Ronald, stop. Sarah, what do you want? Cheesecake?"
Sarah's face again lights up like a 1000 watts bulb and her eyes brimmed with a shine. Now it turned out that the dish's name is cheesecake, which Sarah wanted to eat. Everybody sighed and resume their breakfast.
"Oh, Sarah dear, you want to eat cheesecake, it's a simple thing I will make it for you fast. Why didn't you tell us before, we could have saved the time?"
Even though Amy said with relief but again asked with concern for Sarah, but Sarah didn't answer, just crouch her head again.
They all were worried because of Sarah's silent treatment, she never kept her mouth shut till so long. Julia asked earnestly, "What's wrong with you, Sarah today, why are you so silent? You are not even asking for your favorite dishes."
Now when the matter of cheesecake has been solved Sarah was silently eating a burrito made by Stella for her, and all are confused about what is going on with her.
When Sarah was silent Stefan answered from her side who knows his wife inside out. "Nothing wrong, mom, you both stopped worrying. Nowadays she started feeling like she is troubling you people and has guilt in her heart, that's it."
That's a new revelation, ladies of the family are surprised.
"But why suddenly. I mean, we have never shown her anything which makes her feel guilty towards us, then?" Stella asked in confusion and recalled her behavior. She is always nice to her.
"Stella, it's not anybody's fault, it's all her mood swings. Nobody can help it."
Stefan clarified their doubts, making everybody sighed. Oh, it turned out, her behavior because of mood swings, they should be prepared for more in the future.
"That's great, but big thanks to Ronald, he helped us to guess the correct name of Sarah's carvings, otherwise we should have to visit a confectionery shop."
Carol and Ronald again clapped each other's hands and Ronald pulled his collar up with attitude. "Always welcome dear sister." Ronald was talking with attitude and he received a smack from Jack on his arm.
When breakfast was almost over, Sarah frowned, seeing something on the table. Carol noticed her frown, followed her gaze, then hit her forehead and mumbled, "Not again."
