Stefan doesn't want Sarah to lift any weight, but shopping bags contain only clothes so she can take some and share Stefan's burden. While walking, Stefan and Sarah were arguing and Valerie was walking behind them, amusingly watching the cute-looking couple.
The more Stefan was careful with Sarah's health, the more Valerie was getting assured that something was wrong with Sarah.
The argument wasn't so long when Sarah finally won, how could she let Stefan win every time?
She won, Stefan lost, and he finally let Sarah carry the two enormous shopping bags because he can't bear her lifting more than this weight.
Valerie couldn't help but smile at seeing their cute appearance together, but her heart was also pained. Stefan was never like this back in the past, he has changed a lot and Valerie's heart was bleeding more to accept that Sarah was the reason for this change.
Valerie subsided her disturbing thoughts and walked up to Sarah and started talking casually. "Sarah, it seems like you have purchased the entire seasonal wear section."
Valerie beckoned towards the shopping bags in Stefan's hand and teased Sarah. Sarah smiled because Valerie had said these teasing words, if Stefan would dare to tease her like this she would have turned the world upside down.
"Actually Valerie, this year I am suffering from a terrible cold because of my health. All my old pieces of stuff seem to be not of help for me anymore, that's why I have renovated my wardrobe."
While talking randomly, they reached the car, sat in it, and drove off.
Stefan didn't drive the car back to the Walter palace, instead, he parked it in front of the City hospital, Valerie and Sarah both got confused.
"Stefan, what are we doing here?" Sarah asked with a frown.
Just two weeks ago she had been discharged from the hospital and now again she is in front of the hospital, the thought made her squint her nose. She hated the smell of disinfectant.
"Sarah, I have to collect your reports and talk to the doctor. You don't need to get in, just wait here I will be back in five minutes."
Sarah was relaxed listening that she didn't need to get in the hospital, whereas Valerie was now one step ahead of her suspicion that Sarah has some problem.
Now she was sure that something was wrong with Sarah's health. However, though she was feeling bad for Sarah, she wanted to know what's wrong with her.
Valerie fumbled with her words to ask Sarah, at the end she felt awkward asking Sarah about her own illness and thought to ask someone else. Either Stefan or Carol, any one of them can answer her questions.
After some time, they reached back home. Stefan parked the car and then only he noticed that Sarah has dozed off. She was sleeping soundly.
Stefan couldn't help but smile at seeing her sleeping innocent face, Valerie too noticed this.
Stefan kept a finger on his lips and beckoned Valerie not to talk, lest she will disturb Sarah. He swayed his hand to Valerie to ask her to go, and he is coming.
When Valerie had gone inside, Stefan came to the other side of the car, opened the door on Sarah's side, lifted her in his arms, and went inside. He was walking towards the stairs when all ladies of the family who were sitting in the living hall noticed them and their lips curled into an awe expression. Stefan immediately beckoned them not to say anything and disturb Sarah, lest they were about to shout being overwhelmed.
Stefan shook his head, seeing the expressions on his crazy family's faces, and climbed the stairs fast. Valerie also went towards her room.
After laying Sarah on the bed properly, he covered her with a quilt and went down again. Stefan asked a servant to bring all the shopping bags from the car and was waiting for him when Amy came and stood in front of him.
"Stefan, what has happened to Sarah, is she alright?" Amy was anxious about Sarah and guilty for sending her shopping because of her own presumptions.
"Mom, relax. There is nothing serious, she is just exhausted after more than an hour-long of shopping. The doctor has already told us, that such a long physical activity without a break is too hectic for her. She will be alright once she will take a rest well." Stefan held Amy's shoulder and assured her.
"How was your shopping drive, Stefan?"
Before Stefan could answer anything, the servants walked towards Stefan with dozens of shopping bags in their hands. Stefan, after taking the shopping bags from them, gave some of the bags to a servant and asked him to give them to Valerie.
"Mom, at the first glance, at so many shopping bags, said seems like shopping was amazing, isn't it Stefan?" Stella said playfully.
Stefan released a deep sigh and showed the shopping bags in his hand. "I am sure you don't want to know that all these are for your darling Sarah, she has purchased a complete nww closet."
"So, what if Sarah has changed an entire wardrobe? Stefan, you are a big businessman and you are complaining about a pea-sized amount of your wife's shopping?" Amy took Stefan's in saying in another way and scolded him, whereas everybody giggled listening to Amy's assumption.
Stefan hurriedly explained. "Oh no, mom it's not about the money, it's about her health. Why did she do all the shopping in one day and in the process got tired? And do you know, during the drive to the mall she was nagging for some street food Mexican Tacos and...... Oh shit, how can I forget that?"
Stefan realized something and hit his palm on his forehead and mumbled some curses under his breath.
Julia, Amy, and Stella noticed Stefan's face and which was somewhat frightened of something. What has scared the great business tycoon, Stefan Walter?
"What's wrong, what did you forget?" Julia asked.
"When Sarah was nagging so much to eat Mexican Tacos from the street hawkers, I promised her that I will make it at home for her. Now, when she will wake up and won't get her Mexican Tacos in front of her, she will turn the mansion upside down."
All the ladies couldn't help but laugh at Stefan. It turned out that the great business tycoon, who is famous as a shrewd and ruthless person, fears his pregnant wife's mood.
"Stop laughing, all of you, and help me, please." Stefan chided.
"Stefan, it's not a big deal. You sit peacefully, I will make it with our Mexican cook. Stella said with a laugh.
"No, I can't, that's another grave I have dug for myself," Stefan said with a helpless face. Now, this was another shock for the women of the family, like what has Stefan had done: that he was so scared of Sarah.
