Sarah, Stefan, Ronald, and Valerie were moving towards the park near the palace where Stefan and Sarah daily go for their morning walk.
On the way to the park, Sarah and Valerie were walking together, chit-chatting with a smile, asking for more details about each other's likes and dislikes, behind Stefan and Ronald.
Whereas Stefan and Ronald were walking a little ahead. Ronald was in a sulky mood as they had dragged him for the walk for no reason.
"Ahh, Valerie, I forgot to tell you before. The interview with Walter industries for a new vacancy is scheduled for today by 11 am sharp. Please don't be late as they are very punctual about the timings."
Sarah calmly portrayed that Valerie should be very professional, otherwise she will not get any privilege just because she was Walter's acquaintance or Stefan and Ronald's friend.
"Thank you so much, Sarah, for your help," Valerie said obligingly
"Oh Valerie, you are so polite. Come on, we are friends and there is no space for sorry and thank you between friends."
It surprised Valerie when she heard Sarah's words about friendship. "Oh, Sarah, this line......."
Sarah interrupted and finished her line. "Yes, Stefan taught me that too."
"Hmm, he is so considerate of his friends, he taught this line to me too when we were in college," Valerie said.
Her face had a normal calmness when she spoke about Stefan and the past incidents related to him. Even she impressed. Now, this proved that she had completely let go of Stefan from her heart and had moved on. Sarah also released a sigh of relief and was at peace in her heart.
They both kept on talking about so many girly kinds of stuff which has nothing to do with boys while walking a little slower than Stefan and Ronald.
They were about to reach the gate of the joggers' park, and it annoyed Stefan to see the sulky face of Ronald.
He was cursing his fate for being accompanied by his sulky and mad brother on a beautiful morning, leaving his pretty, coquettish wife behind with somebody else, only for his love story.
"What's wrong with you?" Stefan asked sternly, shooting daggers from his eyes towards Ronald's dark face.
Why did you guys drag me for this boring walk, why couldn't you talk about work in the office or at least at home? What was so urgent that you want to talk while expecting me to walk with you people. Ronald said irritatingly.
Even though Ronald added fuel to Stefan's fire of annoyance, still Stefan didn't vent it out.
"Ronald, me and Sarah are working for your love and you are so nonchalant. Couldn't you show some enthusiasm?" Stefan said, like had Ronald let him down.
"What, love? Stefan, are you out of your mind? There is no such thing as love between me and Valerie."
"Even it couldn't be until you have just confessed. And tell me, did I pick Valerie's name now, then why do you think I was talking about her?"
Stefan said naughtily and raised his eyebrows. Ronald couldn't answer him, and just crouched his head and scratched his neck like an idiot.
"Also, do you think me and Sarah are blind who can't see the reason behind your anxiety to stop Valerie from moving out of the palace?"
Stefan confronts Ronald, but Ronald doesn't want to accept it.
"We are just friends........" Even Ronald's expression proved that he was lying.
"Just friends, my foot...."
"You know something, it's just a waste of time to talk to you," Stefan said annoyingly and moved towards Sarah and Ronald followed him.
Stefan held Sarah's hand and pulled her a little ahead of them. Sarah, will you please come with me? There is something I need to discuss with you.
Sarah nodded and walked towards Stefan and he till then beckoned Ronald through his eyes to approach Valerie.
"Yes, Stefan, tell me what is the important thing that you want to discuss with me?" Sarah said as they both move far ahead from Ronald and Valerie.
"Sarah, did you forget, you had invited Valerie and Ronald out for the walk for a purpose. You wanted them to get time to talk to each other, then just leave them alone."
Sarah realized she had forgotten that they needed some space. If she will tag along with Valerie for the entire duration of the walk, then when will Ronald get time to talk to her.
Sarah bit her lips. "Oh sorry, I absolutely forgot but you are always my smart husband, who pulled me away from Valerie and gave them chance space with each other." Sarah not only said excitingly but tiptoed and kissed him on his cheeks.
The sudden initiative of her being romantic surprised Stefan, and a line of blush appeared on his face. He said with a smile. "Angel, what are you doing, we are out of the house in a public place."
Sarah smiled seeing Stefan's red face and excitedly pulled at both his cheeks. "Oh, my Stefu, you look damn cute when you blush."
Stefan shoved her hands from his cheeks and looked around, embarrassed. "Sarah, what are you doing? See everybody is staring at us with weird gazes."
Sarah was very excited and said carelessly. "I don't care about anybody else".
"I am pulling my husband's cheeks, not these clingy women's husband's cheeks who themselves are ogling at my husband."
Stefan saw Sarah's face was which was turning dark looking at the people who were staring at them without blinking their eyes and he shook his head.
If he will say anything more, then it's quite possible it will turn the table towards him and he will have to bear the consequences. Also, her change of temperament is because of the mood swing.
He didn't continue on the matter, held her shoulder, moved towards a bench, and made her sit so that she could relax for some time.
On another side, Valerie and Ronald were walking behind Sarah and Stefan silently and watching their antics, especially Sarah's childish acts that made them adore her.
"Ronald, I guess Sarah has so many shades in her personality, like at times she is very mature, and the next moment very childish, then sometimes stubborn more than kids another side she is calm and understanding and smart too."
Valerie watched Sarah's back and said everything, whatever she had experienced about her from the day she was here.
"Who knows about her every color more than me?" Ronald said while watching her from behind and there was a gloominess in his eyes that hadn't gone unnoticed by Valerie.
"Do you still love her?"
Valerie's hoarse voice pulled Ronald out of his thoughts, and he realized he shouldn't have said what he had just said now.
"No, absolutely not. I mean, it's true that the first love is hard to forget, but I have let her love go from my heart long back. I am happy, as she is happy with Stefan." Ronald said with a light heart.
Valerie was proud of Ronald's thoughts.
