My eyes widened when I entered the room, the door of the washroom was open, and she was sitting naked under the shower, crying covering her face.
"Sano" I went to her and took the towel from the side cliffhanger and covered her then picked her up in my arms. she hid her face in my chest, whimpering in my arms.
I made her sit on the bed and parted her away. she hid her face with her hands. I was looking at her confusingly. the maid whom I sent to help Sana came to me.
"What happened to her? Why is she crying? I sent you here to take care of her.. what were you doing" I shouted. anger rushed through my veins seeing her tears. I want to destroy everything which is the reason behind her tears
"Alpha, I was with her only, helping her in taking bath but didn't know what happened suddenly she started screaming seeing her face and body in the mirror," She said. I could smell that she was not lying.
"Get the hell out of here before I lose control over my anger" I frowned. She immediately ran away. I turned towards my queen. she was crying bitterly covering her face. I knelt in front of her and removed her hand from her face, at first she resisted but then finally gave up...
"what happened? Did something scare you? why are you crying?" she didn't reply, her whole face turned red because of crying. I held her chin and made her look at me. her wet eyes met with mine.
"Are you in any pain? should I call the doctor?" I asked because maybe this is the reason why she is crying and feeling shy to tell me.
"ok.. maybe you're uncomfortable to tell me.. let me call the doctor" before I mind-linked Max to send the doctor she held my hand and nodded in negative.
"you're not in pain then what happened? why are you crying?" Great.. she again didn't reply, just kept sobbing.. her tears didn't help in anything but increase my anger.
"Would you stop crying?" I yelled. she shivered and left my hand. she moved back on the bed because of fear.
'You scared her asshole' Dominic frowned.
"I'm sorry... I'm genuinely sorry... I don't want to scare you... it's just that, I can't bear tears in your eyes. I'm worried for you and you were not telling me what happened, it made me freaked out and I ended up shouting at you... I'm sorry Sano" I sat beside her and cupped her face, making her look at me.
"Tell me what happened?" She hugged me and hid her face in my chest. This time I didn't force her and let her cry.. because I know she will push me away if kept forcing her. After a while, she calmed down a little bit and looked at me. I wiped her tears and kissed her forehead.
"Now would you tell me what happened? Why were you crying?" I asked softly.
"aren't you scared or feel disgusted seeing my face and my body?" she asked, leaving me dumbfounded on the spot.
"Why are you asking such a question?" I asked.
"I saw my reflection in the mirror even though I got scared. I can't imagine how you would have felt when you saw me that time and now also you're caring for me.. looking at me with love.. how? my face.. he destroyed everything" she said while whimpering and again hid her face in my chest. Andrew beat her brutally so that her face swelled up, and had blue and black marks... There was a big scar covering her right cheek. maybe he hit her face with something... my reaction hardened as I felt all the veins of my body shivering with every tear falling from her eyes because of that bastard. I wanted to rip him apart, make him bleed for all the pain my queen is suffering.
'even I want to.' Dominic scowled. I gulped and took a deep breath to calm down my anger. Right now my main focus should be on her. I broke the hug and kissed her forehead
"Some wise person said that beauty is from inside." I cupped her face and sucked her tears to make her believe my words.
"you're as beautiful as I saw you the first time.. you're a beautiful soul and no one can snatch your inner beauty from you... no one Sano" I mumbled. she nodded and a small smile appear on her face
"Does it mean you don't feel disgusted after seeing my face?" She asked innocently.
"no... I feel relieved when I look at you like some thirsty person finally found water" I said. She kept looking into my eyes. It's not like I'm complaining... I'm loving it the way she stares at me without any hesitation claiming me as his.
I stood up from the bed and picked up the clothes kept on the couch that I sent for her with the maid. I came back to her and then made her wear the top without removing the towel and then a long skirt with it.
All the time my eyes were on her face, matching the gaze with her beautiful eyes. I'm loving this intense eye contact. I would be lying if I say I don't want to have a taste of her body but I want it when she submits to me with all love.
I didn't send inner wears with the cloth as I don't want her to think wrong about my intentions. I carefully open the knot of the towel by putting my hands inside her top, not touching her in any improper way but my mere touch on her body gives rise to my junior and I can see my effect on her as well. The way she starts breathing heavily brings a smile to my face.
I know she must have felt a spark all over her body because of the Mate bond between mates but she didn't show it on her face. I took out the towel from inside her top and then kept it on the side.
"Why are you doing this?" she asked but I didn't reply. I wanted to confess my love to her... I wanted to tell her that I'm doing all this for my mate but I know she's not in the right state of mind. I don't want to lie, that's why I ignored her question and made her drink the water which Ella gave me.
"You should rest now, I'm coming in a while," I said and stood up from the bed.
"you're leaving me alone again. can't you just stay with me?" She glared at me. if looks can kill, I would dig 7 feet down. I smiled and sat beside her.
"you want me to be with you all the time?" I grinned. she opened her mouth to say something but then closed it not finding any word. I chuckled and messed her hair.
"What are you doing?" she frowned.
"I have to make arrangements for shifting you to another place,"
"What?" she asked, panicking thinking that she had to live alone.
"I don't want to live in this cruel world alone," she mumbled to herself.
"I'm sorry but you can't stay here," I said.
"But why? Are you mad at me because I talk to you rudely? I'm sorry... I wouldn't do that again but please don't take me away from you... please" she pleaded. tears welled up in her eyes.
"Hey, I'm not angry at you nor am I leaving you alone."
"but you just said that you have to make arrangements for sending me to another place" she muttered
"Yaa I said that but I didn't say that I'm leaving you alone. did you forget I promise to never leave you alone" she looked at me puzzlingly. I smiled and held her hand. "I will always be there with you whatever the place."
"It means you will also come with me," she asked to confirm. I nodded and a smile came to her face. Finally, I'm able to see her beautiful smile and believe me it took my heart. I can do everything for this smile. I kissed her forehead lovingly and touched her forehead with mine.
"I can't explain how much happiness you give me.. please keep smiling like this.. please," I said. she didn't reply and distance herself
"you're spoiling me," she said cutely.
"if my care and love spoil you then I can't help it but yaa I'm ready to outstay all your tantrums with a smile"
"You know what, no one can argue with you... You have the answer to everything" I chuckled at her comment.
'we can spend our time with her afterwards also. First, we have to make arrangements to shift her before Irene sees her in our room,' Dominic muttered in my mind.
"Sano, I'm sorry I have to live but I promise I will come back soon. Till then you take rest" she nodded and lay down on the bed. I smiled and bowed down the blanket over her.
Don't know why my heart is not ready to leave her alone. I was not feeling good but did I have any option? For her safety, I have to leave and make sure that the new place is safe for her. I glanced at her for the last time and decided no matter what I will not leave her alone afterwards.
