"Ohh.. you're getting me wrong, women... I mean to say, that day I decided to marry you" he said and I felt like he's lying now but what can I do if he's lying also? Now I'm bound by this marriage and I have to fulfil all my duties as a wife. I was lost in my thoughts when our car stopped in front of the big mission. My eyes widened seeing his house. He chuckled seeing my expression. He got out of the car and came to my side. He opened the door for me and then picked me up in his arms.
"Richard," I exclaimed.
"Call me Alpha. I don't like when someone calls me by my name" he scoffed. I bow my eyes down. He kissed my nose.
"Hey, don't get upset. it's just that there are some things which we don't like and it's one of those things. I like when everyone calls me Alpha." he said while taking me inside the house. I was looking all around, everyone was doing their work but when Richard entered, they stopped doing their work and bowed their heads with respect toward their Alpha. I smiled seeing how much people respect him. I encircled my hand around his neck and rested my hand on his chest and soon we entered a room. He made me sit on the bed.
"You should take a rest, you must be tired. I have some work to do. so, I have to go" I nod in an understanding way and he leaves the room. I took a deep breath. I only knew how much I was afraid when we entered the room thinking about what would happen next.
This marriage happened so suddenly that I'm still not ready to take our marriage to the next step. I went to the door and closed it from inside and then lay down on the bed. He's right, I'm tired.
I started thinking about whatever happened between Richard and me till now and only one question is roaming in my mind. He is so good then why doesn't my heart like his touch? He loves me so much that he married me and here I always distance him from myself. I don't know when darkness consumed me.

I woke up to a knock on the door. I opened the door and found a lady standing there with a smile.
"good evening ma'am"
"good evening"
"Do you want something?" she asked politely.
"ya a tea and I want my beg because I want to change" I replied.
"Sorry ma'am but sir asked you to wait for him. He will soon arrive here, '' she said. I looked at her questioningly. That's when I realised what she meant. It's our wedding night, it is obvious he would have asked me to wait for him in this wedding gown. oh god.. how this thing escaped from my head. Now, what will I do?
"I will bring tea for you, ma'am," she said and left. I closed the door and sat on the bed nervously scratching the back of my hands with my nails and that's when I heard the knob of the door get twisted and the door was opened. my heart started pounding rapidly seeing Richard at the door.
He grinned and came towards me. I stood up from the bed looking at him agitatedly. He sat on the bed and indicated to me to sit beside him. I did what he told me. he took my hand in his hand and kissed the back of my hand
"Your skin is so soft," he muttered. He came closer to me and removed the hair from my neck.
"You smell so good. I can't wait to ravish your innocence" he said mischievously. I quickly stood up from the bed. He frowned.
"I'm feeling starving as I haven't eaten anything since morning" I lied. He raised his eyebrow looking at me suspiciously but he didn't say anything and went outside the room.
"Did I anger him?" I thought and was about to go behind him but that's when he came back to the room. I looked at him confusingly but he didn't say anything and went to the washroom. After a while, the lady who asked me what I wanted, came with a plate of food. I looked at her and there was a mark of a slap on her cheeks and a bandage on her forehead. I immediately went to her and took the plate from her hand.
"Ohh my god... How did all this happen? Did somebody hit you?" I asked her worriedly. She was about to say something but that's we heard the sound of the door opening, I looked back and found Richard coming out of the washroom. I went to him.
"See Richard, somebody hurt her," I said looking at the lady.
"didn't I tell you not to call me by my name?" he frowned, glaring at me. I immediately distanced myself from him because of fear. He looked toward that lady.
"I have some work. I have to go" she said and immediately left from there. Richard hold my hand and made me sit on the bed then he serve for me
"I'm sorry, I scared you but I told you not to call me Richard. I don't like it. please now remember this, you will call me Alpha.. ok" I nod.
"you love me?" I asked out of nowhere
"What kind of question is this? I do that's why I married you" he scoffed. I bow down my eyes. He said he loves me but I can't feel it. I have always craved love. Now, even after marriage, my fate is not going to change. Will I still log in for love?
"Why did you ask this question?" he asked.
"It just came to mind," I replied. He extended his hand towards my cheeks but I moved back because of fear. He chuckled and touched my cheeks and moved his thumb to cress my cheeks with love.
"don't worry... I will never hurt you... you're my wife, why would I hurt you.. so relax" he said. I smiled, not knowing what to say.
"have your food. you were starving right" I gulped and started eating food. He was staring at me which was doing nothing but only increasing my nervousness. my hunger died the moment when I saw his angry mode. With great difficulty, I finished my food. He called the maid and asked her to take a plate. He was about to come close to me. That's when his phone rang, he looked at the display and then left the room to talk. I mentally thank the person who called him.
I still can't believe that I was sitting on the bed waiting for my husband to enter the room and it was our wedding day. After a while, he came into the room. He switched off his phone and kept it on the desk and then removed his shirt. He sat beside me. He came closer to me and was about to kiss my neck but I distanced myself.
He tightened his fist. which I noticed but didn't say anything. I don't know why I'm feeling all this wrong. He's my husband, he has a right to me.
"What happened now?" he snarled. I didn't say anything. He again came close to me but this time I stood up from bed.
"What happened to you? For God's sake, I'm your husband, why are you moving away from me?"
"I'm sorry... I'm sorry but I'm not ready for this. at least not right now"
"what do you mean by that" he frowned
"You sent a marriage proposal to me and dad accepted... We got married... but think from my side, Suddenly everything changed in my life... I am not able to accept that I am married... Please try to understand me. I'm not ready to take our relationship to the next step."
"What do you mean you are not ready? did you forget that you're my wife and because of that you're bound to serve me" he snarled? I look at him shockingly, winding my eyes. I didn't expect this reaction from him. He is so nice to me from the start, is it all fake?
"Why are you standing? come to the bed and serve your husband. you must please your husband" he grumbled. I was gawking at him. The respect I had for him ended with every word he said. He held my hand and pulled me and it happened all of a sudden that I lost all my balance and fell on the bed. He came over to me. A tear rolled down my eyes seeing his this side.
