"I'm going, not because I'm afraid of dying but to give you some time alone. so that you calm down. I will not give any justification because I know what I snatch from you, there is no compulsion of that and I will be ready for my punishment." I said and stood up. She hid her face in her knees. I don't want to leave her alone but I have to give her time.
I went outside the room where all three followed me. I sit near the door. I know I can't stay near her but at least I can stay with her. I could hear her sob and hear each drop of tear piercing my heart. I wish to go back in time and change everything but I can't...
'Dominic' I called out his name when he didn't utter anything for so long.
'we indirectly hurt her' he whimpered in pain.
'can't we do something to ease her pain? I can't see her like this,' I mumbled.
'Only love can heal her wound and I know we will heal her. We will win her heart and give her all the happiness which she deserves' I didn't reply to Dominic and rested my head on the door where Irene, Max and Erica left from there and I thank them for this because I'm not in a position to talk with anyone. All I wanted was to hug my queen and coo her in my arms.

Why does this always happen to me? Whenever I trust someone, he breaks my trust. What have I done wrong? Why Alex? Why did you attack my pack? I can't even hate you properly. Why does all this happen?
"Maya '' I called her, only she can understand my pain but she didn't reply and it hurt. I'm alone in this cruel world. no one is there for me. no one... I was cursing my fate when my eyes went on the door. Alex's shadow was visible to me. I don't know how but I can feel his presence around me and I'm sure he is Alex.
I stood up to open the door and hugged him to let out all my pain in his arms but then my steps halted when I remembered what he did. I touched my stomach where my cocoon was breathing but because of him, I lost my baby. I lay down on my bed hugging the pillow like my child
"I'm sorry baby.. your mom couldn't save you... I'm sorry" I mumbled. I was grieving over my baby's death. That's when I again started coughing and then I again puke blood and it was enough to terrify me.
"Maya"

I immediately pick up the bottle from which Alex used to make me drink water wherever I'm in pain. I empty the bottle and sat on the bed but with every passing second, my pain was increasing.
"Alex" his name skipped from my mouth and then the next thing I know that he was holding me in his arms. I tried to distance myself from him but he didn't let me go.
"What connection is this? I always tried to distance myself from him but ended up in his arms." I thought and hid my face in his chest. I was still in pain but next to him always subsided my pain. He moved his hand on my hair to keep me calm.
"Sleep for a while... you will feel better" he said, kissing my forehead. tears rolled down my eyes. He wiped my tears and rested my head on his chest... Soon I drift into a deep sleep.

My sleep broke when I felt immense pain all over my body and I could hear Maya's scream in my mind
"Maya" I got panicked.
"Maya, what happened? Are you ok? Maya" I screamed but didn't get any reply. I look at my side Alex was not there.
"Alex" I called out his name and stood up from bed but fell to the ground. Suddenly, I felt too fragile to even stand by myself.
"Aah," I screamed when I felt too much pain like all my bones cracking. pain much more than when I shifted for the first time. I was about to scream his name again but then I remembered whatever happened in the morning.
"Maya, he killed our child" I mumbled. again I heard a painful growl of her in my mind.
"Maya.. what do I do?" I again tried to stand up and called out for help but failed. I was about to fall again to the ground. That's when I felt a hand on my waist. Without looking at the person, I know whose hands it belongs to.
He made me sit on the bed and cupped my face but I pushed him away. His eyes filled with tears when I yelped in pain. He sat beside me, I stood up from the bed but again because of weakness I fell. He sat beside me to help me but again I shoved him away.
"Don't you dare to touch me, Alpha Alex" I screamed on his face. That's when the colour of his eyes changed into brown telling me Dominic is on the surface and his aura was enough for me to submit to him. I bow down my eyes. He tightly held my chin and made me look into his eyes.
"Aah," I hissed.
"Listen to me carefully, because of your stupidity and this human fight, I can't risk losing my Maya again. If something happens to her then I will destroy everything in this world. Including you Sana" He warned. Seeing Dominic this side tears rolled down my eyes. It hurts... It's terribly hurt to see his angry side more than the pain I'm feeling right now. He picked me up in his arms and made me sit on the bed.
"Maya... I know you're in pain but this time I will let nothing happen to you. nothing.. this time no one can snatch you from me.. not even your human stubbornness" he said glaring at me. I didn't say anything and turned my face to the other side. The pain was too much for me but his behaviour hurt me more.
"I love her Sana.. she's in pain and only I can save her '' He said and I can feel that he's also in pain and terrified with the thought of losing his mate. He made me look into his eyes.
"After a long time, I'm able to see her and I can't lose her just because of you... I will do everything to save her and if she wants to mark you without your permission then I'm not going to back down. '' It would be a lie if I say my eyes didn't widen when I heard his conversation. I tried... I really tried to push him away but he didn't move at all.
"You can't mark me like this," I yelled.
"Try me," he smirked. Soon, his eyes colour back to blue. I took a relieved breath seeing Alex on the surface.
"Alex" I hugged him, crying bitterly in his arms
"I'm sorry, Dominic scared you but he is hell possessive of Maya"
"Does he only care about Maya?" I asked out of the blue.
"he cares about you as well and he wanted to mark you not only for Maya but your life is also in danger" I broke the hug and pushed him away.
"why you only? anyone can mark me" I wanted to know whether he is telling me the truth or not. my wolf is not with me, I can't smell his emotions.
"mine" he pulled me closer holding my waist. I could see Dominic on the surface. seeing him, I shivered because of fear. maybe he saw that and give back control to Alex
"Before I could reply to your words Dominic took control and wasn't scared of him. He's just worried for you both that's why he behaved like that. He is like this only, never able to express his emotions" he said.
"but he has to learn how to behave with his women. I will not take this behaviour" I frowned. Alex smiled and locked the strand of hair behind my ear.
"I love this side of yours, fearless and powerful," he said. I didn't reply to anything and shoved his hand away. The pain is increasing with time but still, I'm trying my best to cope with it. don't know what his intention was? he really wanted to save Maya or just wanted to mark me. no matter whatever the reason is but I will not let him mark me. I'm never going to be his mate.
