CHAPTER FORTY FIVE
SARAH’S POV
I don’t know what happened but I found myself kissing him back passionately like we’re hungry for one another.
We both kept fighting for dormancy battling with each other’s tongue until I gave up and allowed him to take full charge of the kiss.
He got on the bed without breaking the kiss and made me lay comfortably on the bed, roaming his hands around my thigh. I felt a spark and quickly broke the kiss.
“What’s wrong? Did I do anything wrong in kissing you?” He asked, staring at me with so much love which I’ve never seen before.
“No, it’s not like that. I felt a little spark when your hand touched my thighs but it's okay. We can do it if you want.” I responded, shyly looking away.
“I would never think of such right now, Sarah. I just got carried away by my wild feelings but it’s not what you’re thinking.” He expressed with a soft chuckle.
“Uh… I’m sorry for taking it the other way.”
“Please, don’t be. I should have cautioned myself.” He smiled, “Can we continue?” He added which made me nod my head shyly.
Did he really have to ask me that? Gosh! I feel so shy to have acted that way in the first place but I wasn’t used to stuff like that. This is my first time. That's why he was very calm in understanding.
I caressed my face with his hand staring at my eyes before slamming his lips on mine in a warm filling kiss.

I stepped out of the bathroom with just a towel tied around my chest with nothing to wear. My previous clothes were all covered in blood from that incident.
I should have told Mr Russell that I don't have anything to wear before entering the shower.
I’ve to get dressed even if it’s just his shirt so he won’t come and find me in this awkward situation.
Just as I got dressed in the white shirt which was showing my thighs, Mr Russell walked in holding a shopping bag with him.
“I see you’re already dressed in my shirt.”
“I’m sorry sir. I should have sought your permission before putting it on.”
“It’s alright. I’ve told you to stop addressing me in a formal way. Call me Jay or anything you find suitable but not sir or Mr Russell.” He stated, dropping the shopping bags on the bed before walking over to me.
“It’s a little hard to say but I’ll try.”
“The shirt suits you perfectly but you can’t go outside looking like these in front of those men most especially Desmond.”
“Okay.” I replied as he took my hands in his.
“I want to make things work between us but before then, I want to apologize for everything I have done to you in the past. I promise I’ll try to be perfect for you.”
“You don’t have to apologize or feel bad about anything. I didn’t take any of it seriously. I knew what you were going through at that moment.”
“Thank you for everything. I promise I won’t act that way ever again.” He vowed, pulling me into a warm embrace.
I still can’t believe this is the same man who acted cold towards me in front of me saying and treating me this way with so much love.
JAYDEN’S POV
We cuddled each other on the bed after engaging in a heart filling kiss. I really can’t get enough of her each time. I can’t imagine how deep I fell in love with her without even knowing it.
“Is Max going to be okay since I didn’t return back to the mansion?”
“He’s fine. I already informed Henry and aunt that you’re with me.”
“Oh… I see. I wish he was here with me too.”
“Am I not enough?” I asked, staring at her.
“No, that’s not what I meant. Max and I always have something fun to do before bed time.”
“Is that it? Since he’s not here, can you do it with me?”
“No, it’s a little childish which you might find uncomfortable.”
“Yes, that’s right but we can try something different.”
“Like what?”
I was thinking of having a competition with her on swimming to see how great she is.
“How about swimming to see who is good at it?” I stated, sitting up straight.
“Are you for real? You don’t really mean it, right?” She inquired which made me grin.
“There’s a reward for it. Don’t you want to give it a try?”
“Alright, I will but I’ve a condition if I win.”
“How are you so sure you’re going to win against me?”
“We never can tell where luck would favor me and besides I once won a gold medal for being one of the best swimmers in New York.”
“Impressive but I still don’t believe you can win against me.” I smirked and headed towards the wardrobe to find the perfect sweatpants to put on.
“You shall see then. But what am I going to put on? I don’t have a swimsuit?”
“It’s not always a must to wear a swimsuit, is it?”
“Okay fine. I’ll find something to put on.” She stated, while I strolled to the bathroom to change into the sweatpants.
“I’ll be in the pool waiting for you.” I said to her after stepping out of the bathroom but she was lost staring at bare chest.
“Do you want to feel it?”
“Uh… hum…” She hummed, blinking her eyes continuously.
I strolled over to where she was standing and slowly lifted her hands to touch my chest.
“You’re well built. I can’t believe I’m really touching this abs.” She said, caressing my chest with her smoothing hands, “I’ve made up my mind. I’m ready for it.”
“For what?” I furrowed my brows.
“What do couples normally do? I also want to feel like a woman.”
I was speechless on what to say after hearing her confession. I wasn’t expecting her to think that way.
“We don’t have to do it now. Let's wait when the time is right, alright."
"Okay. I'm sorry for the sudden outburst."
"It's a good thing you voiced it out. I'm glad we're getting along pretty well."
"Me too." She smiled while I hugged him to myself.
“Are you still up for the challenge?” I asked, after pulling away from the hug.
"Most definitely. Bring it on." She smiled, with confidence.
She's the typical woman I've always wanted to see. I love how bold and confident she is around me now. I know I'm a good swimmer but I'll make sure she wins to make her happy.
