CHAPTER THIRTY THREE
RYANS POV
Hopkins arrived shortly after with a long face and quietly walked over to the stage to make an announcement.
I'm sure he's about to announce me as his business partner. I've always been waiting for a moment like this to happen and today, it's about to happen. I'm about to be called one of the top twenty billionaires in New Orleans.
"Ladies and gentlemen. I've an announcement to make. I've decided to make Mr..." He was still talking when a power outbreak occurred.
Everywhere was totally blank as the guests kept murmuring to each other. Why the h*ll did the power outbreak have to happen now when he was making the announcement?
I tried waving my hands around to have a feeling of someone when I felt a cloth placed towards my nose and before I knew what was happening I felt my body leaving me.

I didn't know for how long I was out but I felt a sharp pain on my head and slowly opened my eyes to see myself tied up in front of three men.
I looked around and noticed I was in my suite but how did I get here and who are these men covered as ninjas.
"You're finally awake?" The man in the middle uttered, walking towards me.
"Who the h*ll are you people and why have you tied me down like an animal?" I roared.
"Lower your tone or I'll slit your tongue for you. You're here for a purpose and I want nothing but the correct words. If you try to prove stubborn, I'll make it hard and unbearable for you, trust me."
"F**k you motherf***er!" I yelled, and spit on his face.
"Is that how you want to play it? Then take this!" He chuckled and before I knew it he gave me a punch on the jaws.
"F**k!" I cursed.
"How does it feel now? Are you ready to answer my questions?" He asked but I remained mute and kept glaring at his hidden face.
I swear if I f**king find out who is behind this, I won't spare the living out of the person. I'll make sure he pays dearly for this harsh treatment from this b*** who can't see their damn faces.
"I'll take that as a yes. Where are you hiding that evidence?"
"What evidence are you talking about? Uh... Let me guess, did Hopkins send you guys to do this? I'll make that son of a b*** pay for this." I said, with gritted teeth.
"Sorry buddy, wrong answer." He smiled and punched me in the jaws again.
"Boys, split up and search everywhere. I'm sure it's here." He added as they began to look around.
"No matter how you guys try you won't ever find it." I burst out with laughter.
"Stop talking, you old fool." He fired and grabbed my neck, strangling me tight.
"I found it, boss." One of the boys uttered holding the pen drive which made the guy release his grip over me.
"It wasn't so hard after all."
"I promise, you guys won't get away with this."
"I hope to see you try. Our first mission is done, guys. Are you ready for the last mission?"
"Yes boss."
"What the f**k are you talking about?"
"You'll get to know soon enough." He said with a devilish smile as they all rounded me as they began to hit me on the face.
"Why the h*ll are you guys trashing me?" I ranted.
"For fun purposes and we're just getting started." He added as they continued hitting me on after the other until I couldn't take it anymore and slowly passed out.
JAYDEN'S POV
I couldn't help but let the chuckle I was holding back out. Seeing the b*** getting the beating of his life
No, not even him can mess with me and think he can get away with it. I've been waiting for a day like this when I'll get to deal with Ryan for every ups and down he caused just to see he breaks the bond between Amanda and I.
"Good job guys. Untie him and leave him there. The benzodiazepines pill mixed with alcohol will make him forget all the words you discussed with him."
"Okay boss."
This is just a tip of an iceberg and I hope it teaches him a lesson never to mess with me ever again.
I closed my laptop and decided to inform Mr Hopkins of the good news over the phone.
I had told him the power outbreak wasn't a coincidence but a way to abduct Ryan which no one noticed.
"Hello Mr Russell, what's the latest information?" He inquired, the moment he picked the call.
"The evidence has been destroyed but make sure to keep your mouth shut as well as your friends too."
"Okay Mr Russell. Our contract deal remains unchanged."
"Act like nothing ever happened between Ryan and you guys.He's been drugged and won't recall anything about framing any of you."
"I understand, Mr Russell. Thank you so much. I'll make the announcement of our contract finalization at tomorrow's party to the guests."
"Alright. Good night."
Killing two birds with one stone has always been my specialty. Ryan was just a pawn in my game from the beginning and I can decide what I want to do with him.
SARAH'S POV
I had told Aunt Kathy that I would be coming over to meet my father and give him my payment and end things with him once and for all.
"Father, look who just turned up today? It's the b*** that's been hiding from you." Eva expressed, the moment I stepped into the house.
I never wanted to come to the house but after the little charade he displayed in Mr Russell's mansion, I can't seem to have him come over again and get himself in trouble.
Even though I've already disregarded him as my father, I can't help it because I'm his blood and the last thing I never want to see is getting himself killed.
"Watch your words or you won't like my actions." I cautioned.
"Wow! I must say, the mafia don has encouraged you to finally speak up back to your elders, isn't it?" She spat in disgust.
"Why the h*ll have you been?"
"Here is the money. And please, don't try to come looking for me to receive another money because I won't give it to you." I uttered, dropping the envelope on the table in front of him.
"What did you just utter? Were you the one who sent the mafia don to me just because I asked you to accept the job?" He requested, which got me confused.
Did Mr Russell really meet with him? This is the best moment for me to voice out my words to him and be free with myself.
"Answer my Damon question, you little brat! You made him almost kill me?"
"Yes, I did and the next time you try to come to the mansion. You won't come back in one piece, trust me."
"How dare you talk to me that way?" He yelled, and tried to raise his hands on me.
"The moment you lay your hands on me, you won't know peace because I've recorded everything you said." I stated with confidence, holding up the phone Mr Russell gave to me.
"From this moment, I share no bond with you or this family. You're dead to me as a father." I added and walked out of the house.
I felt as if a heavy load had been taken off my body after fighting back the words I've been trying hard to say to him all these years.
It's all thanks to Mr Russell for giving me this strength and confidence to fight my way out of this life of pain and suffering.
Now, all I've to think about is how to make myself happy and become independent on my own without anyone to pull me down.
