Shaan’s P.O.V.

Returning to the town, I thought of visiting vai at first rather than going my home. After Ammi left, my home was no more like my home. I just got the feeling of being lonely in that place.
Besides vai had texted me that he have gotten a surprise for me. I was wondering what it could be as he never texted me like this.
But out of all this when the person I met was her in Vai’s place, I got totally surprised and just went on arguing with her as if it was very natural in our every meeting.
But when Vai told me that she was no other than Titly, I just couldn’t believe it at first. Then along with a girl, Roshni, he told me all the things.
Though I wasn’t getting convinced at first but after hearing everything, I was bound to believe and my eyes got watery.
Right then, Titly came there. I was about to get to talk to her but vai stopped me and then it hit my mind, the distressed brain thing.
That girl took Titly with her and left us alone and I just hugged vai while crying. After sometime, I let go of him and asked him with a death glare, “Who is it, Vai behind all this? Who blocked the way of Titly for coming back to us? Who made Roshni Api went through all that horrible things? Is it really Tamim Vai.. I mean that Tamim Khan?”
Vai just shook his head as he spoke up, “I don’t know. But I think there was someone else too and now I have to find out who is it.”
I spoke up immediately, “It’s not yours to find alone Vai but mine also and I am afraid what might I do to that one whoever he is. I might just kill him.”
Putting hand on my shoulder, vai spoke up, “Shaan, watch what you say. I don’t want us to take his dirty blood on our hands. We will punish him in the right way.”
I nodded and right then heard Titly uttering loudly, “Vai, aren’t you coming for breakfast? We will be late otherwise.”
I gave vai a questioning look and he uttered, “For office. But what are you doing now? If you are not busy, stay here. Aunty is not pretty well. And besides we never know”
While nodding at him, I replied smilingly, “Okay Vai. But aunty who?”
Vai stood up and uttered, “Roshni's mother. Come. I am introducing you to her.”
Vai introduced me to Ayesha Aunty at the breakfast table. After breakfast they all left for office and I stayed back in the house with aunty.
She is really a very nice person and friendly. In a short time I got along with her really well. After Afreen Aunty, she was the first person from whom I got a motherly feeling.
Vabi also got back home quite early. And we three were gossiping when Vai and Titly came back.
And like always she started arguing with me which made me remind of the past times. I got then why I felt it’s a natural thing from the beginning of our meeting though we didn’t recognise each other.
After dinner Aunty and Titly left to their room and we three gathered in the study of Ruhaan vai.
Vabi again explained the whole things and we kept trying to find out a clue even a little bit but couldn’t without the same point Tamim.
Though I used to call Tamim as vai but hearing all these I got damn angry with him to call him vai.
Giving the thought a break for sometime, we concentrated on doing something to make Titly go through her memories.
After deciding something on that matter, vabi left the study and looking at her way going out of the study, I uttered something agonisingly and turned to Vai.
Ruhaan's P.O.V.
When Roshni left the study, Shaan spoke up staring at her way, “Vai, Roshni Vabi has already gone through so much and that even along the way of protecting our Titly and searching for us. Now it’s our turn. Though it’s not possible to repay her for what she has done but still we should try to make her feel that now she have us who cares for her not less than how much she cared for our Titly.
And Vai look how destiny made you to fulfil your promise that you made to Titly.”
I gave him a confusing look and he uttered again, “Didn't you marry Roshni Vabi just to make Titly happy that means according to her choice? She is a nice girl Vai. I think you should give this relationship a chance.”
I kept silent for a moment hearing him then spoke up, “Shaan, right now I just want one thing. It’s okay with me if Titly remains Tithy by her memory always. But until I get to see the person behind bars who is the sole reason for our all misery and pain, I wouldn’t be able to think about something else.”
Shaan nodded at that and uttered, “Let’s do it, Vai whoever the person is. Let’s make him pay for whom all those was happened.”
I nodded at him and forwarded towards my room but by thinking of sleeping on couch again, I felt pain in my back.
But entering my room, I saw Roshni sitting on the couch doing something on her laptop. Seeing me, she uttered, “I have some work to complete and I can't work on bed as I tend to feel sleepy. You sleep on bed tonight. Completing my work, I will sleep here.”
I was getting a feeling that Roshni was just trying to make me sleep on my bed. As expected when I tried to say something, she cut me off and uttered, “I have a lot of work, Ruhaan. Let me concentrate.”
Letting out a sigh, I uttered, “Okay” and got on the bed. I kept thinking on the recent happenings keeping my eyes closed. After sometime when I opened my eyes, the room was all dark and I found Roshni already asleep on the couch.
Seeing that, I uttered under my breath, “She really acted like that to take the couch and to make me sleep on the bed.” and a small but sad smile crept on my lips.
As I kept staring at her, some of Shaan’s word came to my mind, “Roshni vabi has already gone through so much, vai. Now it’s our turn to take care of her as much as she cared of our Titly.”
Without bothering to think too much, I got down from bed and went near her. She seemed to be in deep sleep and I took her in my arms and made her lie down on bed properly.
Then I got near the couch and was about to sit on it but got stopped when I heard Roshni uttering my name, “Ruhaan!”
I turned to her and she switched on the table lamp. But before she could utter anything, I spoke up, “You have already gone through so much because of us. Now don’t do this for me too. You sleep there. I am okay with this couch.”
Roshni uttered looking at me, “I didn't do that only for you, Ruhaan. I did that for Titly who called me Api considering me her sister and also for my mother. So you don't have to think like this.”
Nodding at her, I uttered, “Okay but you will sleep on the bed only.”
She kept silent for a moment then spoke up, “Okay then you come on bed too.”
I kept staring at her and she spoke up again, “It’s okay. I will sleep on the right side and you can take the left side of the bed.”
She set the bed and lied down on right side. I kept standing there thinking what to do until she gave me a questioning look.
Finding nothing to say, I got near the bed and lied down on the left side of the bed.
Roshni woke me up for prayer at Fazar time and after prayer, I got ready to go out for jogging.
In my way back, I saw a man selling chana (gram fry) which Titly used to like a lot. Remembering that, I bought some for her and returned home.
I thought she was still sleeping so I forwarded towards my room only to get stopped midway seeing the door of Titly’s room wide open.
I went towards that room and got inside only to get startled seeing her standing there and staring at the picture...
