Ruhaan's P.O.V.

Hearing all that, my mind went blank for some moment. Then all the days I passed terribly thinking Titly was no more and I was all alone in this world, started making their way to my mind.
Giving all those thought a break, I kept staring at Roshni blankly while thinking what to say to her. Then just remembering the fact that Titly, my sister is alive, I got up and uttered with a little bit of smile, “I just want to talk to Titly now.”
But when Roshni stood up in front of me and spoke up sternly, “No. You can’t do that.”, the smile of my face faded away and while glaring at her, I uttered coldly, “As I ain’t saying anything to you, don’t think whatever you did was all right. Do you even have any idea how have I been all these years? How terribly have I been passed my days when it was just a misconception from the very beginning?”
Roshni got startled hearing my voice and uttered while looking down, “I am sorry. I know whatever I say now, it wont change the fact that I was at fault. But Ruhaan it wasn’t like I was left with other options.”
Hearing her, I didn’t get convinced at all and spoke up with the same tone, “Do you think it’s all right as you were left with no other options? You made it look like she was your sister and saved your mother. But what about the family of Titly? Did you even think of that? What did you think, it was easy for..”
But interrupting me in between, she spoke up sternly, “What do you think Ruhaan? It was easy for me to make your sister look like mine and pretending all okay in front of the world right after seeing my own sister die in front of my eyes?
Do you think I just gave her Tithy’s face just to save my mother? You tell me what should I have done then? Just leaving Titly like that on the road or hospital without bothering what might happen to her.
What would you have done if you were in my shoes?
And just thinking about her family, I kept searching even after going through the horrible things along the way. I never gave up Ruhaan as I thought her family must be damn worried for her.”
Hearing all these and seeing her condition, I got silent.
Then she again spoke up apologetically, “Ruhaan, I know it was difficult for you. I also have gone through this when Tithy died and Ammi went to comma. I know if I would have been able to send Titly back to you, she would have been happier but believe me just remembering that I always tried to keep her happy by all means.
I never considered her other than my little sister. And I really tried very hard to reach you. But I just couldn’t. And Ruhaan Titly is not completely fine. Doctor strictly told us not to let her pressurize her brain. It can lead her to brain death. If you just tell her that she is Titly not Tithy and all this, it will be a huge shock to her. It can be fatal to her.”
When I heard her saying the last line, I got totally silent.
My sister who I thought died years ago, now I got to know she is alive but I can’t talk to her!
I uttered under my breath, “What a fate I have gotten!”
Then something popped in my mind that totally ignored from the very beginning when Roshni started saying all this.
I looked at Roshni and uttered, “With whom did you say you looked for Titly’s family?”
“Tamim. He is a police officer.” I got shocked at tone of Roshni while uttering the but didn’t bother that as the name itself was shocking enough for me.
“Are you by any chance talking about Ta..Tamim K..Khan?”, I uttered hesitantly while thinking there was no way it would be him but Roshni nodded and spoke up, “Yes, it’s Tamim Khan. But do you know him?” only to get me felt all betrayed.
I uttered being all anguished, “So you are saying Tamim knew all along that she was not your sister Tithy but Titly and you kept searching for us along with him but didn’t find us?”
“Yes but why are you being like that? Do you know Tamim?” Hearing Roshni asking me that, I uttered with teary eyes, “Tamim is my friend, Roshni. He was like family to us and a brother to Titly.”
Hearing me, Roshni also got shocked and just uttered, “What!”
We two got silent for some moment and then Roshni spoke up, “If he was someone like a family to you then why would he have done that? I told him that she was Titly even before her plastic surgery and he took more than enough time to search you people that time. But he said that he couldn’t find you.”
“Roshni, do you have his recent number or his recent address?” he asked me and when I spoke up with annoyance, “Last night I deleted his number feeling disgusted.”
Ruhaan gave me a questioning look and I uttered with annoyance again, “I was about to get married to him. He always said that he loved me but all he kept quiet at that moment when everyone was questioning my character and left me behind. Though he knew me very well as he was behind me from a very long time of my college days and that was many years before this incident.”
Ruhaan kept staring at me for some moment then he spoke up, “College days! Then you are that Roshni Hasan. Now I got it why I felt I have seen you somewhere before when I saw you at your house on Tithy's birthday.”

Hearing everything, I remembered where I saw Roshni for the first time.
It was the college orientation function of Tamim and I got to his college to pick him up as we had plans. Then I saw it.
Tamim was trying to talk to her then but Roshni just went forward all ignoring him.
Then I turned to Roshni and without bothering her questioning look, I uttered then, “In that case Tamim did everything to get along with you. Then why he kept quiet and left you at the last moment?”
Then Roshni spoke up, “Ruhaan, I don’t know what you are referring to but there were some people who always tried to get in the way against it whenever I tried to reach you.”
It was another shock for me. Being clueless, I kept quiet for some moment. Then stood up saying, “I will find out all these for sure but right now I just want to talk to Titly. Maybe it won't be like I will be talking to my sister but still I just want to talk to her now.”
We didn’t get to know when it was already morning. As I rushed towards downstairs, seeing me, kaki uttered, “Ruhaan, Mr. Mahmud is here to meet” and got stopped seeing Roshni coming towards me calling my name.
