Tamim's P.O.V.

Finally, the day came. The day that I dreamt of for a very long time. I am getting married to Roshni, the very same girl of my dream.
I liked her at first sight when I saw her at the college orientation function. I tried my best to get along with her but she always ignored me. She was just not that type of girl to hang out with boys.
But I never lose hope. At some point the day came, when she was totally helpless. Her sister died by an accident and her mother couldn't handle the stress and ended up in coma getting a heart attack.
She was still holding everything but when she found Titly with a burnt face and her mother kept asking about Tithy, I got my chance and made best use of that forgetting everything else.
I helped her to make her get along with me at last only to get in bad terms with the one I wanted the least. But somehow I managed to maintain the both sides.
After talking to Mahmud uncle, I got damn confused what to do. I liked his plan earlier but I didn't even imagine the last part would be this.
At first hearing his plan, I felt so happy that I totally forgot about his intention for the time being.
What should I do now! As much as I knew Roshni, she would never forgive me if she got to know about my wrong doings let alone marry me.
And if I don't follow the plan now then Uncle will get exposed and I can't let that happen. He brought up me and other than him I wouldn't be the person who I am now.
I can't be that much ungrateful to betray him now.
I was caught in dilemma. One side there was Roshni whom I love a lot and on other side there was my loyalty to the person whom I can't ever dreamt of betraying.
I was in deep thought when aunty entered my room and spoke up, "Mr. Mahmud called you, right? Now listen to me. When we will reach their house, some people will start questioning about Roshni's character in many ways.
And all you have to pretend that you were caught in her trap and eventually we will walk out of their house faking our terribly devastation. After that there will be our people for making it sure that they leave this country."
I got totally silent at that and she continued, "I hope you won't try any ridiculous things to get things complicated."
I uttered hopefully in a pleading tone, "But Ammi, I mean Aunty. Is this necessary? I will take them away from here after our marriage."
She uttered in sarcasm, "As if you will be able to do that! If you could do that, you would have done it earlier and I wouldn't have to pretend to be your mother. Anyways I don't care what you are capable of. All I just care about my work. And I will do that for sure. So stop wasting your breath on this nonsense and get ready."
She left from there and I stood still.

Roshni's P.O.V.
.
I was getting ready and Tithy was beside me. She was still not happy with this marriage. When I was all ready, Heer left to check on Ammi. To lighten up Tithy's mood, I looked at her and asked, "How do I look sweetie?"
She looked at me and smiled a little but didn't utter anything. Then we heard the sound of car and Tithy was still in her place.
After few minutes, Heer entered the room again and spoke up, "The groom has arrived. Let's go Tithy. We have to welcome them."
Glancing at me for the last time, Tithy left with Heer and I started thinking whether I was doing right. I was getting tired of pretending that I am happy and everything is going alright.
After sometime Ammi entered the room and got near me. Glancing at me, she smiled and said, "You are looking beautiful, sweetheart. May Allah bless you with all the happiness." and kissed on my forehead.
I just kept looking at her. She was smiling but her eyes were all teary. I wiped that and hugged her.
Heer and Tithy entered the room again and spoke up, "It's the time Api. Let's go outside."
Ammi, Tithy and Heer took me outside. I sat where the bride was to be seated. There was a partition between the seats of bride and groom.
I could see Tamim's face but the look on his face was not something good. It started bothering me.

Tithy's P.O.V.
.
Today is my sister's marriage but I wasn't feeling any type of excitement or happiness. I kept asking myself again and again "Will it be alright?" but there was no answer from within.
Api was trying her best to show us that she was happy but I didn't get myself to convince at that. I was getting a feeling that it's all pretense and fake.
When the people from groom side arrived, Heer literally drag me there to welcome them.
After that we brought Api on the stage. Making Api sit on her place, I looked towards Tamim Vai.
But I got startled seeing the look on his face. He wasn't just unhappy but there was something else also.
When I turned to Api, I found her also looking at Tamim Vai with a frowning face.
The negative thought started getting over me but some words made me come out to the earth as I heard someone uttering, "Is she the bride?"
When I looked around to find the sound source, I found a young man uttering again, "But I saw her closely with some other person."
When I took steps towards the person, another voice from other side came to my hearing, "Isn't she the girl who was with your friend that day?"
Soon same type of lines started coming to our hearing from all around. I got utterly shocked at that and looked at Api. She was also taken aback at such comments.

Author's P.O.V.

Mrs. Ayesha (Roshni's Mother), Heer and Tithy started defending Roshni and Roshni was frozen at her place.
Tamim also didn't move from his place but his mother came forward and stood in front of Mrs. Ayesha and spoke up, "We got saved by chance. Otherwise who knows what would happen in future!"
Mrs. Ayesha started pleading to her, "Sister, don't say this. My daughter is innocent."
Tamim's mother uttered the first word sarcastically and then continued with a poisonous tone, "Innocent! She is characterless. And I can't accept such a girl as my daughter-in-law."
Tithy spoke up then, "This is not true Aunty. My sister is not as they are saying. She is innocent and pure."
Heer joined Tithy and spoke up, "Yes aunty. Roshni Api is in no way a bad girl. They are mistaken."
Tamim's mother went on blaming Roshni without believing them. Someone uttered from behind, "Who knows! Tithy is also like her sister."
Tamim's mother said then, "I don't want to be in any type of relationship with such a family." and left from there and to their utter surprise Tamim also followed her out without saying anything for once.
The people from groom side left but the people who was still there kept bad mouthing Tithy and Roshni.
Soon after that they started saying that they can't let people like them stay in that society. Mrs. Ayesha sit on a chair with a thud hearing all these and Roshni and Heer ran to her.
Being tired of defending themselves, Tithy also sat on a chair with a thud and started crying like no more.
People didn't stop at that point and started saying to Mrs. Ayesha, "Stop faking your illness. No one is going to marry such a characterless girl like your daughter now. If you people continue to stay in this locality, we will also be known as bad people. Our children won't be able to marry in good family. So you must leave this place."
Mrs. Ayesha replied in meek voice, "My daughter is not the way you are saying. She is innocent."
Roshni was trying to calm her mother, "Ammi, let them be. You know me, right? I don't care about others."
Someone spoke up from behind, "Obviously she knows about you already. That's why she is defending a girl like you. But we don't believe you. Ask anyone whether they believe you even for a single one person."
Someone uttered sarcastically, "Is there anyone who would accept you as his wife!"
Others started answering from all around, "I would never accept such a characterless girl as my wife."
"I would never accept such a characterless girl as my daughter-in-law."
Right then Ruhaan entered the backyard garden. He was all shocked seeing the condition there.
He kept searching for Tithy only to find her crying badly sitting on a chair.
He went near her and knelt down in front of her and put his hand on her head as he uttered in concern, "Tithy?"
Tithy looked up at him which pierced his heart as she spoke up while sobbing, "My sister is innocent."
Ruhaan looked all around and found Roshni busy in making her mother calm down while crying and other people asking about her character and if there was at least one who would believe them and accept them.
Ruhaan looked back at Tithy who was then looking down while uttering, "My sister is innocent."
Ruhaan caressed Tithy's hair and wiping her eyes, he stood up and looking at Roshni, he uttered, "I believe these people and I will marry Roshni."
Others started telling him, "Don't get swayed by her beautiful face. She is characterless."
When Ruhaan glared at them, they kept quiet. Roshni looked at her mother who was looking at her hopefully while moving her head up and down in approval of her marriage to Ruhaan.
She looked all around then and found Tithy and Heer giving her a hopeful look while others were looking at her in curiosity. Then she turned to Ruhaan and felt as the look on his face was telling her that she would be safe with him.
Roshni nodded at her mother and later the marriage rituals happened smoothly though people kept bad mouthing Roshni all the time.
Ruhaan didn't defend Roshni for the time being but as soon as the Qazi Saheb (Who holds the marriage rituals in Islam religion), declared them as 'Husband and Wife', Ruhaan looked all around deadly as he spoke up, "Now she is not just 'Roshni Hasan' but my wife, 'Roshni Hasan Ahmed'. So think twice before you say something about her."
Hearing the voice and seeing him giving them a death glare, everyone got silent.
Ruhaan then turned to Tithy who was smiling heartily looking at him and this much was enough for Ruhaan for all this and a smile also crept on his lips.
