Roshni’s P.O.V.
All the way to the hospital, I kept blaming myself for Titly’s condition. Ruhaan told me to be with them. How could I be so careless! Not something about Shaan but I should have known that news regarding Tamim might come to TV. That could also be stressful for her.
Reaching the hospital, we rushed to the doctor. The doctor took the CT scan and examining the report, he injected her some medicine and told us, “Her condition is critical. Nothing can be said now. We have to wait till she gets conscious. If she doesn’t get conscious within 48 hours, I am afraid she might go to coma.”
Saying this, the doctor left and we kept silent for a moment then got back to the room where Titly was shifted.
Ammi was sitting on a chair by her side. Hearing sounds, she turned to us for once and then again turned to Titly.
Ruhaan seemed to be on the edge of crying. When tears started rolling down his eyes, he left the room and I also rushed following him.
When he sat on a chair outside of the room, I got beside him and spoke up, “Nothing will happen to our sister, Ruhaan. Don’t worry. Keep faith in Almighty. He can’t do this to us.”
While sobbing, he hugged me making me all startled. Getting hold of myself, I hugged him and patted his back and he just uttered being afraid, afraid of losing Titly, “Roshni, I didn’t even get to meet her properly or talk to her properly and all these happened.”
Hearing him, tears rolled down from my eyes also that I was holding for the time being.
I tried to console him by uttering confidently, “Nothing is going to happen to her. You will get much more of time with her, Ruhaan. She is going to be alright. She has to be.” but I felt more like I was consoling myself.
Remaining like that for a while, Ruhaan let go of me and understanding his earlier action, he gave me an apologetic look and uttered, “I am sorry.”
I also spoke up in a lower tone, “It’s okay.” and we both got silent for a moment. Then remembering something, I spoke up, “Ruhaan, what about Shaan?”
Ruhaan looked at me blankly and then he seemed to remember, that he almost forgot and spoke up, “I need to meet Shaan. I need to talk to him. He can’t do this to us.”
Being confused, I uttered, “What do you mean?”
He stood up and looked at Titly through the glass part of the door and spoke up, “When Tamim took all the blame on himself rather than taking the name of the culprit, I had already guessed who could be the culprit. The action of Shaan just confirmed my guess to be true.”
I didn’t understand what he meant...
Ruhaan's P.O.V.
Seeing Titly in that condition, I couldn’t help thinking what if something happens to her! What if I lose her again! What if..
I forcefully cut off my thought as I was trying my best not to get myself to imagine the worst thing that could happen but from my within I was afraid.
When tears were about to roll down my cheeks, I left the room and sat outside of the room on a chair.
After a few moments, Roshni came there and sat beside me. Then she uttered something that I was wishing to get to be true.
Hearing her saying that, I just hugged her as I started sobbing. And after some time realizing our situation, I let go of her immediately.
When Roshni uttered about Shaan, I remembered that almost got out of my mind.
When I was about to leave while uttering, “How can he do this to us!”
Roshni spoke up being all confused, “I am not getting your word Ruhaan. Though I don't know Shaan for long, I think we are missing something about this. He didn't seem to be a person to do something like that.”
I uttered in a deadly tone, “I just want to meet him to know the reason and to hear why he did that directly from him for myself.”
Hearing me, Roshni got silent and I left the place.
Shaan’s P.O.V.
Sitting on the floor of the custody, I leaned back on the wall. I kept thinking the news must have reached in the hearing of Vai and as well as others of them by this time.
Would they believe all these! How much they would be hating me if they believed all these? What Vai would think of me! He must be hating me from within.
He must be regretting for getting me to his home. He must be thinking of me like..
And when the thought of Titly came to my mind, I went totally blank. Though she doesn’t love me now but the thought of her hating me was becoming unbearable for me.
I couldn’t stand to go on thinking like this and tears started rolling down from my eyes. I kept sitting there with my head down while shedding tears.
Roshni's P.O.V.
Ruhaan left to meet Shaan and I got inside the room. Making Ammi sit on the sofa, I sat beside her. Ammi was looking all sad.
When I put my hand on her shoulder, she just hugged me as she spoke up while crying, “I don’t want to lose my Tithy again. I won't be able to bear it, Roshni.
Hearing her, my eyes also got teary but wiping that off, I hugged her back.
I uttered confidently, “Ammi, nothing is going to happen to her. You please don’t take the stress. She is going to be alright. Just keep faith in Almighty.” as I kept hugging her being all afraid to lose them both.
After almost an hour, Ruhaan entered the room. He kept silently standing right beside Titly’s bed for some time and then he left the room.
I also followed him outside and uttered, “Ruhaan?” and when I saw him sitting just outside the room, I sat beside him.
And before I could ask him anything, he uttered looking all blank, “I didn’t get to meet Shaan today. But I will as I would like to know why did he do all this directly from Shaan, himself.”
