Putting aside the tension of Fabian's sudden invitation, Clara's visit seems to be going pretty well. Victoria and Raul came back and started making her laugh so hard. I hope I am not the topic of discussion over there.
The sun is setting and Clara has been here for some good time. I wonder if she has any plans of staying tonight. I am really looking forward to my punishment session. I am curious what she is planning to do to me. Just thinking about it makes me grin like a fool. I am praying that she is not leaving, because if that is the case, I will definitely convince her otherwise.
I get out of the living room after excusing myself from the merrymakers around Clara. She looks so happy around them. There is no doubt that she should move in and start living here.
Almost everyone is awake now. The house is lively again. If Clara isn't going to be leaving soon, then I need to get her something to eat before she decides to leave because of hunger.
I walk into the kitchen and look around. Some of the groceries that I bought last time Clara was here are still there. I open the refrigerator and check for the available ingredients. Jeez! Where do I begin?
I know that there is someone that can help me prepare a meal for Clara but I want to do it myself. I have to get used to doing this if I am going to live with Clara when she moves in with me.
I have found eggs and vegetable oil. There is also some beef and carrots. There is a pretty good amount of vegetables in here. There is also baking flour. Should I bake her something? But that will take a lot of time, won't it? Damn! Do I even know how to knead fine dough. I don't want to mess this up. Maybe I should put baking aside. That will be for later incase I get someone to teach me how.
So eggs for dinner. Does that make sense? I think eggs are good for breakfast, but who cares? Who made the rules about what should and what shouldn't be eaten at a particular time of the day? It is all food, isn't it? Okay, I will just prepare them. She doesn't have to eat them if she doesn't like them. I think to myself and shrug my shoulders.
Okay. I don't want to waste all my energy in all this hard work and end up just grossing her out. Maybe I should get help from the internet. I get my phone and start searching for simple recipes according to the available ingredients.
The internet makes everything seem easy but hell! Cooking is freaking hard. Whoosh!
I have prepared three dishes so far and they don't look that bad. Actually, they look pretty good and the aroma is mouthwatering. Now I have to be gink of something to drink. Milk? Milk for dinner? Does that make sense to you? Maybe I should search about it.
I can't believe how much I don't know about food. Maybe some wine will do. We have a good amount of wine in here. Or water.
All that ever mattered to me is finding an easy victim who is not drunk or on drugs. After all this time, werewolves should have adapted to feeding on blood. I remember when Clara was convincing herself that she could adapt to living like a vampire. I can't help but laugh at her audacity.
"Something funny?" Clara's voice snaps me out of my delusional behavior. I think it is because of all the heat in the kitchen.
"When did you get here?" I ask her while trying to regain my composure.
"Just a few minutes ago. I came here looking for you. Something in here smells really delicious," she says while eyeing the food that I am preparing.
"I thought you must be hungry so I decided to prepare you something to eat. I am not sure about my cooking skills. You don't have to eat the food if you don't like it. I will be able to understand your reasons," I tell her. You know, just in case the food tastes horrible. She laughs at me and then walks walks to me.
"Aww! That is so sweet of you. You know I could eat cardboard as long as you are the one who has prepared it," she says and my heart flatters.
"You actually don't mean that but I am buying it," I tell. her.
"If you are doing this to bribe me out of your punishment, then I am not sorry to inform you that are totally wrong," she says.
"Oh, you seem very serious about your punishment threat. You should eat a lot so as to collect as much energy as you can," I tell her and she smirks.
"Are you tricking me into eating too much so that I can doze it off? There is no way your plans are going to happen," she says and I shriek with laughter. I can't believe she could even think of this.
"I don't think my food is good enough to make you get full to that point," I tell her and she grins.
"Well, your food looks really good. Can I have a bite?" she asks me.
"Sure. I prepared it for you anyway," I reply. I get some plates out of the cabinets and start serving the food out of the pans. Clara watches with an amused smile on her face as I get her food ready.
"You know, you look so hot in the kitchen. I like all those dirty stains on your clothes. With that rarely disorganized hair and those rolled up sleeves. They make you look like a damn hot pirate chef," she says when I hand her a plate of food. She sits down on the small table in the kitchen.
"Is that so?" I inquire with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes," she replies and takes in a spoonful of food. She closes her eyes and chews on it. Does it taste that horrible? I wait for her reaction with an anxious look at her mouth as she chews. She moans and shakes her head. When she opens her eyes, they land directly on me.
"Well....?" I ask her.
"Mmm... This is the best food I have hard in years, Damien. Where did you learn to cook so well?" she replies with utter shock.
"On the internet. Today," I reply in disbelief. There is no way my food is appealing to the mouth.
"Are you serious?" she asks me with wide eyes.
"Yes," I reply. She must have been really hungry to think that my food tastes great.
"If you are this great a cook, then I am never eating anywhere else," she says and stuffs her mouth with some steak.
"Would you like something to drink. We have some wine and milk," I ask doubtfully.
"Sure. Wine will do," she replies.
"Oh, okay. I will be right back," I tell her and go to pick the wine from the wine cabinet. I can't believe what I am doing right now. It feels great though. I wouldn't wish to be doing anything else right now, well other than my very much promised punishment.
I come back and find her almost done with her food. I pour her some wine in a glass and some for me. I bring her some more food and put it on the table. I hand her the glass of wine and take a sit on the chair infront of hers.
"This wine is perfect. Everything you have prepared tastes great," she says and takes another sip on her wine.
"Thank you," I tell her.
"This feels like the perfect date that I have always dreamed of. You and me, food and wine, in a quite romantic spot," she says looking into my eyes. She takes another sip from her glass and licks her lips in a slow and torturous manner. Whoa! Why is that so damn hot!
"You've always wanted to go on a date?" I ask her.
"Not like a fancy date in a big hotel. This is all I have ever wanted," she replies.
"And I am glad I could give it to you," I tell her and she smiles.
After eating, I clear the table and clean the dishes despite Clara's strong request to let her do them. I busy myself in the kitchen and she remains sitted drinking her wine. I have to make sure she doesn't go beyond two glasses. I don't want her to get drunk and lose control of her actions or pass out. I want her sober.
After drying the dishes, I place them back in their cabinets. When I turn, I find Clara standing behind me.
"I just want to say thank you for the food. It really means so much to me that you prepared all this for me," she says while wrapping her hands around my neck.
"It was my pleasure," I tell her and she gives me a shy smile. I touch her cheeks which are now rosy red. I think it is because of the wine. Today hasn't been that bad either, I tell myself.
Clara pulls me closer to her and gets on her tiptoes. I can immediately tell what she wants and I don't have to think twice before giving it to her. I grab her ass and pull her closer to me, crashing my lips against hers and pulling her into a deep hungry kiss.
