After minutes of walking, I noticed that we're getting farther from the cottages. His calming presence made me slowly close my eyes. Every step was full of care to make sure I won't trip.
When we arrived at a big tree, we stopped on our tracks and stared at the cottages from afar. Two hands slid down at the back of his pocket and slowly looked down at me over his shoulder.
"We can now talk here privately," he said calmly.
I nodded while staring at the abysmal ocean. In the silence, I could hear the wind sweeping around as it began to whisper in the air.
"Firstly, I wanted to thank you again for saving me earlier," I started while hugging myself.
He glanced at me before shaking his head lightly, "It's nothing, anyone would do what I did earlier, right?
I slowly nodded, my vision was focused on the ground. Until I decided to sit on the sand and lean on the tree.
"Do you know why I love beaches? Queensland has a lot of beaches, I often bring Hezekiah there," I smiled painfully, slowly flashing back to the past.
He tilted his head a bit, "So, your husband's name was Hezekiah?"
"Yes... Hezekiah Grant," I uttered slowly.
"Tell me more about him. Does he treat you right?" he asked softly.
I smiled and looked up at him. I caught him staring back.
"He's the kindest and the most hardworking man I know."
I looked down with a smile on my lips. "I'm probably the luckiest girl in the world when he married me." I tried hard to talk with my usual intimate tone.
"But not everytime, destiny favors you. Sometimes, it gives you challenges..." A bitter smile painted my lips.
"I married the man of my life, but... he chose to love somebody else..." I mumbled.
I felt him sit beside me, causing me to silently gasp. I wanted to scold myself for being nervous whenever he's close.
"I'm not in the place to judge him, maybe he didn't find what he's looking for in you..." he said in a low voice.
I clenched my fist tightly and glared at him. Pain immediately spread throughout my heart, but I quickly looked away when he turned to me.
"I don't know what you're talking about," I said with conviction.
He wrinkled his brows and stared at me for a while. "Yes, I know! If I were in his shoes, I can probably do the same."
I felt my own heart has been hit hard. How dare he say that?! I harshly faced him and slapped his cheeks.
It was too late to regret it when he immediately caught my wrist and gripped it tightly.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" I gasped heavily.
His face was obscured by shadow so I couldn't see his expression clearly. But one thing's for sure, his gazes are ablaze.
"Do you know what I do to women who slaps someone without any reason, huh?" he said huskily.
I was shocked when he pulled me into him. His hard chest burned on my skin, there's no visible gap between us. Agitation immediately rushed through my veins.
I don't have any choice but to glance up at him where his eyes are searching for mine. I almost smelled his minty breath lingered in my nostrils. I felt like I was deafened by the loud pounding of my heart that I can't think straight.
"I did that because you insulted me!" I finally got a grip of my tongue.
But my words have no visible impact on him. I can feel his defined chest pressing even more and a pair of his large hands settled on my waist.
"I can't think of a moment that I insulted you. In fact, you're the one who insulted me." His lips broke out into a devilish grin.
He slowly scanned my face, until it stopped on my parted lips. I licked my lips frantically, trying to moisten them and looked away.
"Just like I said, I can do what your husband did! And I fucking tried so hard to avoid you, but here you are, following me?!" The strident tone in his voice revealed his anger and my body quietly switched off.
I blinked. His words took me by surprise and I was too astonished to speak. I gulped a few times but it seems that the coldness of the night made me dehydrated.
"And I hate to admit it, but you made me so hot..."
In one fluid moment, he gripped my hair, making me look at him as he kissed me hard and critical. His actions were rough and impatient. I almost lost balance, I was quick to hold his sando as his massive hand snaked around my waist to pull me closer to him.l
My heart is pumping hard. I didn't know what to do, if I should answer his kisses or push him away. In the end, I decided to push him as strong as I can, but he didn't even move an inch. He turned even more aggressive.
He kissed me hard, he is now overbearing and even slightly rough, aggressively violating every part of my mouth and I can't even follow his aggressiveness.
I wanted to answer his kisses with the same intensity but I was baffled, then suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my lips as I tasted the rusty metal blood. Holy shit. This is actually happening, I never thought I'd love rough kiss as much as I do with him.
His fingers encircled my waist, he pulled me up to him and snagged both my legs. He stood between me. Oh Lord, I can feel his bulge growing in between.
His hands drifted to my hips. The desire and hunger glowed in his gentle touch. I stopped kissimg him as breathy moans escaped my mouth. I shut my eyes close, trying to calm the thunder of my heart.
"Zeki..." I said in my raspy voice.
He stared at me darkly. He fixed my position on him and lingered at me.
"This will be the last time I'll hear you call that name," he demanded, his voice sounded calm and seductive.
My body flashed with heat and my pulse thumped throughout my nerves. I gave him a curled lip, although I know what he said was opposite to what I want, I just found myself nodding.
"Good girl..." he whispered gently.
