SNOOPY
We slept in our spot together, I felt his hands on me throughout the night,I felt so safe.
"No! No!! Nooo!!!" I turned to see Armando sweating like he just had his shower, his breathing really hard and his lips bleeding, I think he bit himself, his eyes widened.
"What's wrong?" I said with so much concern in my voice.
He nodded to tell me nothing was wrong but I knew he wasn't saying the truth.
"C'mon Armando what's wrong?" I asked touching his chest and tracing the dragon tattoo on the right side of his chest, he was now relaxed and calm from my touch.
" It's nothing pretty one, just a bad nightmare," he said, kissing my temples and curling me up into his arms to lay me down, his grip was firm and he didn't let go .
I couldn't help but worry about him, he was worried and for the second time he was having this nightmare, I kept thinking if something was wrong, but couldn't place my finger on it.
The next morning I woke up in my room and I didn't know how that happened but I was in my room but who cares as long as I wasn't caught.
Got dressed for Sunday Mass,the priest had talked about love and how we should share it around, my eyes landed on Marty and I caught her staring, she didn't look good, she was my neighbor but it felt like we didn't stay in the same dorm.
She was looking messy, well nothing like the sexy looking Marty that I used to know, something was up and I needed to find out, she was my best friend beside and the only friend I had, I decided to talk to her after the mass was over.
After the father gave his final blessings, I stood up to see if I could reach Marty but she was out of sight. I asked around and they kept saying they saw her here and there, so I decided to just talk to her when I got to the dorm.
I walked straight to the dorm and knocked on the door but there was no answer, I felt she was still burning of rage from my birthday night, but we needed to talk, I wanted to see her and hug her and tell her how stupid I was and just make everything better.
"Hey Marty, please open up, am... So..rry?," I said trembling but still no response from the room, I felt she just wanted to ignore me ,I became so pissed and left.
I walked into my room thinking out loud "What's wrong with Marty?, Was she that angry at me, but I told her I am sorry, I am really sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have kissed Armando, I knew she liked him too. Hmm I need to talk to her, she's my best friend."I told myself and went out of my room , banging on the door.
"Open up Marty! Else am breaking this door!" I am exaggerating still no answer.
"Come on, I said I'm sorry" I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see who it was.
"She doesn't stay here anymore, they moved her to the special dorm for some weeks now, you can go see her there." That was Shelly aka Miss Informat.
" Thanks Shelly, I had no idea she was sick" I was shocked.
" Nah it's fine besides that's why they call me Miss..." Before she completed her statement, I interrupted.
"Informat, I know Shelly thanks alot " I turned to leave.
I needed to know what was wrong with Marty, if the illness wasn't serious she would be in the school clinic not the special dorm, I walked as fast as my legs could carry me.
" Special dorm!" I read out as I pushed the door open, it was really beautiful inside here but really quiet, the smell, aggr!! I hate hospitals,I saw the receptionist position and I walked towards the smiling lady.
"Good day ma'am" I said smiling.
"How may I be of help, young lady?" She had a really beautiful smile on.
"Uhmmm... My best friend is here and I really want to see her" I was looking at the register book to see the name she used.
"What's the name?" She asked.
"Marty ahh, I meant Martina"
I sound nervous.
"Martina.... Martina... Mar..ti..na.." she repeated, searching for the name.
" Ahh we have a lot of records here , you'll have to tell me her last name" she said.
"Martina Paul" I said immediately.
"Sorry but no name is registered as that here, maybe she has another name except From that one". She suggested.
My eyes searching to see her full name, ahh there it was boldly written.
"Martina Paul Samuel"
I shouted that out , she was already on it.
"Room 11 , it's by your right but she has a visitor, you'll have to wait till he's out ok?" I nodded.
" She can't have more than one visitor"she instructed and I turned to leave.
I noticed that the whole time Marty was sick she had a regular visitor named Fr.A.
Probably someone who didn't want anyone to know he was coming here to see Marty, or could be her lover, was curious,I wanted to know but I remember what the rep had said but who cares, I mean she was just saying it so we don't become a crowd inside the room.
They say curiosity kills the cat but right now,this cat wanted to be killed and have a befitting burial.
