UNHOLY AFFAIR
Bright light. Disco lights. Loud music. Big crowd. Different shapes and sizes.
The hall was extremely full, I didn't expect much crowd for my birthday, it must be Marty's idea, I didn't even know half of the crowd.
I was outside, standing in front of the doorway, I felt dizzy, Marty was nowhere to be found after we got here.
" It's your birthday girl,you can do this." I told myself.
I took a deep breath and relaxed, I adjusted my dress that hung perfectly on my curves.
Push!
The door wide open, the hot breeze from the crowd brushes my skin, I notice the crowd turn to me, I feel a quick rush, I need air.
"Cheee.. cheee.cheee!!, The birth..day girl is..in..th..e build..ing!!." The DJ announced follow by a wide cheer.
I felt so overwhelmed and shy, I gave a weak wave, attention went back to the DJ.
"Hey birthday girl!!" That was Marty.
"You wanna dance?" She seemed a little drunk but was trying to act stable.
"No way Marty, you know how bad I am with dancing, go on!go have fun, I'll be right here watching".
"No way!!, You are coming with me, I wanna have fun with you, it's your birthday for the Lord's sake!!".
She pulled me to the dance floor.
"Woooo!!!, DJ give us the best!!" she was a pain in the ass. She moved her body to the rhythm of the song and kept screaming at the top of her voice, she seemed to be having fun,that she didn't even notice when I walked out the dance floor to the bar.
"Please Can I have a soft drink?" Talking to the bartender.
"Sorry but we ran out of soft drinks,just alcohol" he pointed.
"Can I have something not too strong, it's my first time" feeling a little bit embarrassed.
"Right away, birthday girl" guess I was now popular.
"Thanks" with a wide smile.
"Hi Jane" turned to see who was addressing me.
"Hi Father Albert?" A bit surprised.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I thought I was invited,but if you don't want me here,I could leave". I could see disappointment display on his face.
"No! No!!, Please have a sit, you're welcome to join me" he sat beside me but too close,I could feel his skin against mine and his breath brushing my body and sending sweet shivers.
"Here you go!" The bartender handed the cold wine to me.
Father Albert didn't wear his uniform, he was dressed as a normal man, someone could place a bet that he was too good looking to be a priest.
"Can I have the same please." Telling the bartender.
"You really look good in this dress", turning his direction to me,I could see his eyes rip my dress from my body with the way he eyed me.
"Thanks! I got it from a secret admirer``.I said smiling widely.
"Hmmm, that's cool" he said sheeply.
"It is?" I asked sipping my cold drink.
"Yeah, but do you know who it could be, like a hint?" I knew what he was trying to do.
"Well.. I can't say, I mean he did want to stay secret, so I rather leave it that way." I replied.
"Humm, I see," he said.
"What?" I giggled.
"Nothing" biting his lips.
"Here you go sir" the bartender offered him his drink.
"So why ain't you dancing, it's your birthday" he asked, I let out a sigh.
"Cause I don't know how to" roll my eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" he said in a very rhetorical way.
"I mean,I don't know how to dance, I get too scared around people and I just lose it, I can't" feeling embarrassed.
"Do you want me to show you some moves..." he suggested, I laughed.
"No way!" I disagree.
"C'mon" he persuaded.
"I can't" my hands on my face to hide my shyness.
"You don't think i'm going to win this competition, do you?"he said.
"You wish!" I like a dare.
I stood up but took the last sip of my wine before leaving to meet him.
As we walked past the crowd to the dance floor, he reached for my hand and guarded me through the crowd, his hand felt right where it belonged, his grip was firm and he didn't let go until we got to a stop.
"What do you think?" Looking at the space he called our dance floor.
"Just perfect!" I said scanning through the crowd,
"You think" he smiled at me.
"I know" I smiled back.
"Give me a sec" he walked to the front crowd where the DJ was, whispered something to his ears and they both nodded and smiled,I saw him giving him a thumbs up.
I watched him walk back to me smiling, I couldn't help how I felt, he has done more than he thinks.
Just then the music changes to a slow song. I think it's "Usher". He had a way of doing stuff to the mind.
" Let's do this" he reached for my hands and pulled me closer, his other hand tracing the line of my back down my waist.
" Just follow my lead" I nod in agreement, wide_eyed.
"One step in,one step out, don't go too fast, just stay stable I'll take control" he breath penetrating through my skin, I melted.
I followed every instructions, from one step in to one step out, trying every means not to step too fast,following every lead,with time,I perfected it.
" You are doing just fine," he smiled.
"Really" out of excitement, I lost control and stepped on him, but before I could hit the ground he already held me, his hands holding my waist firmly,pulling me closer,too close we could breath the same air.
My eyes locked with his, his electro blue eyes crushing mine, he drifted his eyes to my lips and back to my face.
Our breath now heavy, I could feel the tightness around my throat, he didn't move, I was too powerless to move from him, I couldn't hear the loud music anymore ,it felt like everything faded, like there was no one but us.
His face came closer, I wanted to say no but my soul had found peace, I wanted to push him away but my body had already concurred to his, my eyes swept close as his lips met mine, they felt so cold maybe from the drink, my emotions played out.
I didn't want to give in to him but my mind already had this scenario played out a thousand times, even if my head keeps saying he was a priest.
"This is so unholy!" I could hear my head talking to me.
As I opened my lips to accept his,he took mine with all gratitude, finding my tongue, his breath got deeper as the kiss deepened, I wonder how long we have been in that motion.
"You bitch!!" A scream from the crowd but he didn't break until I heard that same word, I stepped back breaking the kiss to see who it was.
" Marty?" She was already drunk.
"How could you?" She yelled in a drunk way.
" It's not what it looks like Marty!Let me explain" already knew where this conversation was heading .
"You backstabber! How could you take my man!" Before I could come closer to explain, she threw a bottle of wine towards me and the last thing I heard was the man I just kissed screaming my name it sounded so go..of and black out...
