Terry's pov:
Don't think I will ever forget that man Thor who barged into Chrystal's room and picked her up like she was something fragile and might break if he squeezed to tight.
I know I had a guilty look on my face when I jumped back at the sound of the door slamming and his deep voice asking me what I was doing with his little princess but hey I did have a hold of her hand. I really don't think I was doing anything wrong at the time but who am I to say right now.
He goes to her bed and takes out her IV from her arm and then unhooks the heart monitor and gentle picks her up and I tried to stop him by saying we can take care of her here and she is safe. But of course he has to remind me of what a f..k up I have been by not protecting her like I was supposed to.
He told me to call him alpha. Hey wait if he is an alpha why is he her body guard? Does she belong to his pack? If so why is she here is he her dad and sent her away to protect her from some rogue. Yeap, here we go again more questions about this girl I probably will not get answers to. Now I know I need to get her aside tomorrow at school maybe she will have some answers to my questions. If she would even be willing to give me any, I mean really what is all this mystery about this girl and why will no one give me any straight answers right now.
I follow them out of the room and then the hospital to his waiting SUV and watch as he puts her in and straps the seat belt around her. So loving and caring he is with her. This really makes me think that he is more than just a body guard. He closes the door softly and walks around to the driver's seat to get in.
I just stare at her not wanting her to leave wanting to apologize for everything that has happened to her. Before I can get anything out of my mouth he takes off down the lane and up the mountain.
Mark comes out and joins me while I am staring after the SUV with a million things running through my head about this girl when he says“Man that guy was some scary dude. I can see why they chose him to be her body guard.”
I start to laugh at him and say “Yea and you wasn't even the one on his bad side.”
“What do you think, is he more than a body guard to her?” Mark asks
I sit for a minute to contemplate if I should tell him what I think but I decide not to I need to know more about her before I start voicing my opinion about what I think.
So I just say “I don't know but I think dad knows more than he is telling us let's go to his office and see if he has time to talk to us.”
He just nods and we turn around and head to my father's office. We get to my dad's office and knock, he tells us to come in. We open the door and find him and John sitting there doing some work. I ask him if he had some time for us to tell us what was said in their meeting.
They both sit back in their chairs like they were waiting on us to come and ask questions. My dad points to two chairs across from his desk and has us sit.
Everything is quiet right now while I am trying to get the right question out to ask first. The first question out of my mouth was who was that man and why did he want me to call him alpha.
My dad and John start to laugh at this question and me and Mark look at each other like what the crap. They finally calm down and ask us “Scary huh?” we just look at each other and then turn to them and nod our heads yes.
“Well that is Thor he is her body guard while she is traveling to other countries with her granny”
“But why did he tell me to call him alpha?”
“Well he has a pack it is a small pack and they travel with Chrystal and her granny”
I think about this for a minute. This cannot be all, he had a lot of power to him more than just an alpha would have but he did not seem to rile dad or John too much. Maybe it was just us we are still young and learning.
Feeling I was not going to get a better answer to my question than that cause I know my dad he tells only what he wants to tell he is the alpha after all and who am I to question him right now. I still have a lot to learn about being an alpha and the last couple of days proved that.
I let this go for now and ask if her granny had come and if she had what had she said about what happened. He told us she was not happy about what has happened but you are all kids and she knows there will be fights between you. But she says she is going to get to the bottom of it and I would suggest you do the same with the other two girls that hang around with Chrissy see what all this is really about and let him know what I come up with. In the meantime Chrissy stays in the cells until they leave in two weeks to go overseas for a while.
Dad also informed us that Chrystal will not be returning to school. She had completed all her classes already and she had chosen yesterday not to graduate with the rest of the class. Saying she does not feel comfortable being she is younger than all of us. So her granny is going to pick up her diploma next week after graduation and then they are headed overseas for a couple of years.
I mean what do I do now with that information? How am I going to get to know her better now? I need to figure some way of getting up that mountain to see her. I still need to get her stuff to her.
My dad breaks in to my thoughts and tells us to go get something to eat and get ourselves ready for school.So I sigh knowing we were just dismissed and there will be no more questions answered. So with that we stand up and head out of my dad's office with me thinking of a way to get up that mountain to her. Does she even want to see me? Why do I keep thinking about this girl? Why do I feel this pull to know more about her? Maybe it's just the mystery surrounding her right now, I have never cared before she was just a girl I would occasionally pass in the halls at school. But that smile, those eyes so bright it just seems to make the whole room light up. How could I have not noticed her before?
