Terry pov:
So with that I head to her room wondering why she was not in surgery or something. Maybe she is not as hurt as I thought she was. I pray to the moon goddess for her to be alright.
I open her door and see her lifeless body lying on the bed she looks so pale and I start to worry more about her. I pull up a chair to the bed and just start to stare at her small face. I don't know why but now that I can really see her face I can see how beautiful she is. Now don't get me wrong I know there is more to a person than just looks but I cannot see how I have not noticed how beautiful she was before? Why does she hide herself from the world? I start to wonder about this mysterious girl, how can I get to know her better? I start to pray to the moon goddess again to help her to heal.
I was about to grab her hand when I hear the door open and the doctor comes in. She informs me that Chrystal is in a coma right now. She has a broken rib and it punctured one of her lungs. They tried to do surgery on her but she kept healing faster than they could cut her open to repair the damage, even wolfs bane would not work to keep the cut open long enough to help her. Now wolfs bane is deadly to a wolf it makes it hard for a wolf to heal the cut. It may take a while but eventually it will heal but it will leave a scar in it's place. So they called her granny to see if there was anything they could do and her granny told them to let her rest her wolf was taking care of her. What kind of wolf does she have that even wolf's bane does not affect her? I must really get to know this mystery girl better.
I did not know what to do with this information sure our wolf can heal us but not to this extent, we still need healers and doctors sometimes, and this is one of those times so how was her wolf healing her. More questions I have about this beautiful girl. More questions that will probably not get answered, that is when I decide it is time my father tells me more about Chrystal and her granny.
The doctor brings me around and informs me her body guard will be here in the morning to pick her up. I just stare at the doctor and finally ask "how can she leave in the morning it will take at least a weak to heal will it not?”
"I have been a doctor for fifteen years now and I have never seen anything like this before she must have a special wolf is all I can think of" replies the doctor.
I stare down at Chrystal on the bed and think what kind of wolf can she have and why did it not protect her against Chrissy's attack. I can feel Dakota stirring in my head at this revelation about her wolf wondering what has gotten into him today. I ask him and he will not answer me he just sits there with a dreamy kind of look on his face. This cannot be his mate I know I am not eighteen yet but surely he would have said something to me. Getting mad because he will not give me any answers right now I cut the link off to him.
What is so special about this girl that my dad has agreed to protect her I mean it is not for land we could have settled anywhere on this continent why did it have to be here and what does this girl have to do with it.
Question after question is roaming in my head starting to give me a headache because I have no answers to those questions. I really believe it is time for my father to start explaining some things to me.
“Alpha Terry why don't you go home and get some rest I will inform you of any changes” the doctor says bringing me out of my thoughts once more.
I look down at her one last time and sigh knowing I am not getting any answers right now and nod to the doctor. I go ahead and head out of the pack hospital and decide to go home to take a shower and get something to eat. I will come back in the morning to check on her.
