Chrystal pov:
I finally calm down and she slowly releases me. I don't want to let go I want to stay in these arms for the rest of my life. But I slowly let her release me but to my relief she takes hold of my hands in hers and smiles at me and says “No I am the Moon goddess I came down to calm you down while Kia heal's you and maybe answer some questions for you.”
Oh so exciting she knows my wolf's name. If I have any questions she asks me what kind of questions do you ask the moon goddess herself. I sit for a little bit and contemplate this question and then I get it.
“Can you tell me about my parents, and what makes me so special and why I should have to hide from these people?”
She is silent for a while before she responds “Well my mate and I are your parents. We brought you back down to earth and gave you to granny to protect until you come of age and your true powers.”
“Wait what do you mean you brought me back down to earth?" What kind of crap is this how can I come back to earth am I a alien also? A million of questions are now roaming in my head right now. But she finally squeezes my hand and I look at her and she starts to look long and hard in my eyes while holding my hands in hers finally she sighs and starts to explain to me what happened to us.
“You know the story of the Great war?” I just nod my head and motion her to continue. “Well I was the lycan Queen and your father was the lycan King.” She stops there and I just stare at her and nod my head again for her to go on. “As you know we were killed, we had traitors in our pack and they betrayed us but the worse part was they killed our only child the only heir to the throne our daughter. Which happens to be you?” Rage starts to build up in me at this she gives my hands a squeeze and smiles at me which starts to calm me down a bit.
A memory forms in my mind and I can see those loving eyes looking down at me and singing me lullabies at night. Maybe that's why I like music so much I think to myself. But before I can get too lost in my own mind she proceeds to continue. “ Well our closest's and dearest friends found our bodies and they took us to a secluded area and your granny started chanting and then the moon goddess came down to get our bodies before anyone can burn us. She was very angry with her people that they would kill her daughter and granddaughter. See Chrystal when we pass away we become the next moon goddess. So see the moon goddess that came down to earth to get us was your grandmother. If they would have burned our bodies we could not have come back down to earth. So after some time had passed and they could not find our bodies they gave up. Our power was gone they could feel it in the air we was no longer on earth.”
She went quiet and I could see tears run down her cheeks so I sat there and watched her lovely face trying to memorizing every inch of her to my mind never to forget again how soft her hands are in mine how her hugs feel, oh and her smell like sweet strawberries, is this why I have all way's loved the smell of strawberries, all this I was putting in my mind never to forget ever again my mom is the moon goddess. I guess feeling my excitement coming through my body she turns back to me and smiles at me. You know one of those smiles only your mom can give you when she is proud of you, well one of those and I just beam my best smile to her.
She gives my hand a squeeze again and then continues with that same smile on her face “Well we gave it sometime and watched as everything started to crumble. The person who thought it was time for a new ruler and that the moon goddess did not know what she was doing by letting us rule the super natural world. Needless to say everything went into chaos and the war lasted longer because of it but he was finally killed. Of course that left everything up in the air. Nobody knows what to do any more. We have started some rumors about a new queen will be born and we would give them a sign so everyone is waiting for that sign. That sign will not come until you are ready for your true powers Chrystal and the time is getting close so listen to me closely you need to prepare and listen to your granny and your dad no matter what everything depends on you my daughter. You see we are the ones who made it hard for anyone to find their mates. In doing this the werewolves and lycan kingdom had gotten weak. We did not take the mate bond away altogether just made it harder for them to feel it. A lot of them felt some of it and they chose to ignore it making their pups weak at birth. You see Chrystal a wolf chooses it's human who they wish to be with in this life and a lot of the wolves wanted revenge for our deaths and they refused to go down to be with their human parts which in turn made the pups weak and either they died or was left to go insane because they was not whole in their life. Some of the wolves that choose to wait for their perspective mates have turned rogue and are waiting patiently for their new queen to come. Which is you my sweet girl, only when you find your true mate and king will all that change. ”
She goes quiet and I can see the sadness in her eyes at what she is telling me. Oh how sad for these pups I am thinking to myself. But how can finding my true mate help everyone I am wondering to myself.
