Terry pov:
I was about to head to the nurse's station to check on Chrystal when Mark mind linked me that something was wrong with her, she has just passed out and what did I want him to do.
I go running and round the corner and see Mark holding her up in his arms. Dakota lets out a loud growl which surprised Mark and me. I go to grab Chrystal out of Marks arms Dakota coming out and I don't know why but the site of seeing her in his arms is too much for him and I cannot figure out why.
I am half shifted now and I cannot stop him anymore he walks over to Mark and takes her in his arms giving him one of his evil looks which makes Mark cower down in a submissive form.
As he picks her up bridal style he growls at Mark to go get the car now. Mark bows head and says "yes alpha" with a strange look on his face but he does not argue with him. He knows I am not in control right now but he cannot figure out the reason for Dakota's actions right now and neither can I but I let him go for now I figured I will ask him later when we have more time.
On the way to the car I mind link Bryar, my gamma, I knew he was still at the house taking care of some business that needed to be taken care of before we graduated, I told him to get the pack doctor ready that we have an emergency and will be there as soon as we can.
Bryar tries to ask what is going on but Dakota just growls at him that now is not a time to be asking questions and do as he says. I can feel Bryar's surprise at Dakota through our bond but he say's nothing more except “yes alpha” to us.
I have her in my arms heading out to the car and I look down at her thinking to myself how small and light she is in my arms. The close she wears makes it so difficult to see her true form. I know she is not short; she is about 5 foot 7 give or take a few inches. But holding her in my arms she feels small and she cannot weigh too much because she is light. I am looking at her face and can see some beauty there another thing she hides behind those thick glasses she wears all the time.
I know everyone is wondering how we have a car here because we walked to school today but we left Mark's car here yesterday because me and him took off in mine to take care of some rogue problem yesterday at the front gate. For some reason there have been a lot of rogue problems lately not so much fighting just them wandering around the perimeter lately. The few we have caught and questioned only say they are looking for the new queen. Which we assure them she is not here and that seems to satisfy them for a little while because they leave. In town we have noticed a lot of new people coming in so far they have not caused not problems. Now there is nothing we can do about new creatures and rogues coming to town cause that is considered neutral territory, the only time we can intervene is when there is trouble.
We get to the pack hospital and the doctor and some nurses run out to the car with a gurney and try to take Chrystal from my arms. Dakota starts to growl at this and I have to assure him they are going to try help her. He finally listens to me and lays her down on the gurney for them to take her in. Now why do my arms feel so cold now that she is not in them I am wondering? I am still doing my best to rain in Dakota when my parents show up. My father uses his alpha voice to get Dakota to stand down, it was not easy it felt like he was fixing to challenge my dad at this point. I finally get him calmed down when I tell him we will not be able to go into check on her progress if he does not rain it in.
Finally back to myself I proceed to tell my parents what happened and that I had Chrissy taken to the cells for the night.
“This is not good, we swore to protect her granddaughter and she gets hurt in our school”says my dad with worry on his face. I have never seen my dad worried about anything. Makes me wonder what this witch could do to us.
“I am sorry dad I got there as fast as I was told there was a fight inside the school" I told my dad.
“Well her granny Eileen is not going to be too happy about this we are going to have to do something else with Chrissy than just putting her in the cells for one night. She has gone against her alpha's orders and hurt someone who was under our protection” I can feel my dad's wolf coming out at this statement.
My mom places her hand on my dad's chest which seems to calm him down some and says “I say we knock her down to an omega strip her of her status and put her in the pack house where she can do all the cleaning and I can keep an eye on her”
“I will agree with this this time if it satisfies Eileen if not she will be banished from this pack for good and she can roam around as a rogue for all I care "is my father's reply to my mom's suggestion.
With all that settled my dad and mom go back to the pack house to call Chrystal's granny to inform her of what happened and let her know we have her in the pack hospital. I head in to the hospital when they leave and head to the nurse's station to find out what's going on with Chrystal. The nurse informed me what room she was in and that the doctor would be with me in a little while.
