Terry’s POV
When I get to the pack house Mark pulled me into the living room or I should say game room because that is what we use it for.
There's a big screen T.V. mounted on the wall above a big fire place. Two couches on either side of the fire place, with a love seat facing the fire place. Plenty of seating area for when me and the boys sit and play x-box. On one wall is floor to ceiling windows to let the light in and my mom can sit and watch mother nature is action. On the other side is a full wall of book shelves full of books. My dad has a bar in the corner which is where Mark heads to too grab himself a beer. He offers me one and I take it, I really need it right now. Now I am not a big drinker but I believe a beer right now will calm me down a bit.
We sit down on the couch and he asks me how she is doing and I give him the update.
“Did you feel how small she is?”I ask.
“Yea man I'd say they don't eat much up their but I felt some muscles on her arms when I was holding her up. Wonder what that's all about. Maybe she does some training up on that mountain."
“I don't know but I know dad is going to have to explain more about this situation we are in with her and her granny pretty soon. I am tired of being in the dark about everything.”
Mark being my beta I proceeded to tell him about Chrissy being knocked down to omega and when she gets out of the cells she is to move her stuff out of the pack house as soon as possible. I wish my mom would have given her some other job to do than cleaning the pack house. But I guess I cannot have everything at least she cannot follow me around like she always did before.
I get done telling Mark about Chrissy and proceed to tell him what I have found out about Chrystal so far. I can tell he has a million or so questions for me but before he can ask them I tell him I do not know and these are the many questions my father is going to have to explain to us.
After talking to Mark I head upstairs to my bedroom and head to the walk in to grab me some shorts and t-shirt and then head to the bathroom for a much needed hot shower.
I turn on the faucet to the shower and while the water is heating up to the way I like it I turn to the sink and brush my teeth and start to take my clothes off and throw them in the hamper. I hop in the shower and let the water and steam ease my muscles and stress of the day.
But why can't I get Chrystal and the mystery that surrounds her out of my mind. A good night's sleep and a good dream about my dream girl is all I need, I think to myself. And with that thought I wash my hair and body then get out.
I grab a towel and dry off. I don't even bother getting dressed I just head to my bedroom and plop down on my bed. I figured sleep would have come so easily to me but it did not. I lay there on my bed in the dark looking up at the ceiling with a million questions rolling aroud my mind right now. Well not really a million questions just questions about the girl that's now in the pack hospital.
I cannot believe I never noticed how beautiful she is. Of course every time I see her she has her hair up in a bun with big thick glasses on. She makes it hard to see her face when she always has her head phones on and her head down never looking anyone in the eyes. That reminds me I need to go to the store and get her a new one being hers got broke. I know sometimes we will pass her in the halls and she would tilt her head up a little at us and smile. Come to think about it she has a very pretty smile. I wonder what kind of music she listens to. With that thought I get up and head to the bathroom and get dressed. Well so much for getting any rest.
I head out of my bedroom and run down the stairs and out the front door to my car to get the broken head phones and walk-man to see what she likes to listen to. I get everything I need out of the car and head back inside so I can listen to it.
Mark stops me while I am coming up the stairs and asks me "what's going on." I show him the player and tell him it is Chrystal's and it got broke in the fight and I was just wondering what kind of music she listens to and maybe about buying her a tape or making her one.
We head inside the living room to plug it into the stereo set so we can listen to what's on it. The last song that was playing when the shit hit the fan was “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias. So we start it from the beginning and listen to the whole tape.
“Not a bad tape” Mark says when the tape is done playing.
“Yea she has a lot of different tastes in music. I need to go tomorrow and get her a new Walkman and a new pair of head phones.” I reply.
As me and Mark was getting up to go to bed my dad mind linked me to tell me to get Mark and meet him in his office.
