Kyle Greenwood’s POV
"What's the meaning of this nonsense you did here, Sonia?" I asked when Sonia discharged the reporters.
"Not here, Kyle," she replied with a bright smile on her face that one will think that we are only having a pleasant discussion.
"Answer me, Sonia, what's the meaning of this? What was the need to invite the reporters here?" I asked again in clenched teeth trying to keep my cool.
"I don't understand you, Kyle, how am I supposed to have an answer to your question? You and I walked out of the police station together to meet them here, Why are you asking me such a question? Did you see or hear me call the reporters here?" Sonia asked looking so innocent, "please stop making baseless accusations." She added, frowning her face a little.
"Stop acting like you don't know, Sonia, if you don't know, why then would you talk about Katy and Kimberly like that? " what was the need to praise me like that in front of the reporters, like I am some sort of a hero, you acted like you were prepared for them too,"
"What did I say wrong, Kyle? I was asked a question by the reporters and I gave a reply, do you expect me to lie to them?" She asked acting all innocent and this made my blood boil, I have a hunch she called the press herself but I don't know when, maybe she did that when she left to get that Officer Scott guy, and I wonder what she plans to achieve with this, acting all nice to the press.
"So what about the money you said was given to her family, is that one of your stupid games?" I asked recalling the look on Kimberly's face when Sonia mentioned that, she must hate me so much, I thought folding my palm into a fist, how did I get here? I asked within me waiting for Sonia to give me a reply.
"Answer me, Sonia," I said when she did not reply me, but instead of replying she walked to her car.
"Get in the car, Kyle, we need to leave this place first," she said instead.
"What?" I asked furiously, furrowing my brows at her.
"Get in the car, Kyle, don't be ridiculous, the reporters are still watching us, don't make a fool of yourself out here, that will not be good for your image, " Sonia told me gesturing for me to get into the car.
"Dame you, Sonia," I cursed out loud, hating it when she mentioned the word image to me, why is it always about that all the time? "I'm not taking another nasty ride with you," I told her furiously banging my palm on her car door.
"Ouch...," I groaned, feeling pain in the palm I banged on her car door, my head spun too, causing me to rest on her car to try and recollect myself, I guess it's from the blood transfusion earlier.
"What do you think you are doing, Kyle this car cost me a fortune..." I heard Sonia say among other things, things I did not pay attention to because of how light my head feels right now, but I know she is going on about her car, which I think I left a dent on from the blow.
"He's going to be alright people," I heard Sonia say, I blinked my eyes, to see that she's talking to some of the reporters hanging around, and I'm already seated in her car, I do not know how I got into her car.
"He's going to be alright, the thing is he donated his blood to the kid who ran into his car by accident," Sonia said and I was wondering why she would say that, that's not the way the accident happened, I muttered to myself trying to speak up.
"I'm afraid we have to go home now, my Kyle needs to rest," Sonia told the reporters and turned around to get into her car from the driver's seat.
"Why don't you take My Kyle to the hospital instead?" One of the reporters asked.
"That won't be necessary, a family doctor will attend to him at home, it's not much of a problem, he will be fine, thanks for your concern," Sonia replied sweetly.
"Miss Sonia, you are already carrying out the duties of a good and loving wife, I bet the Greenwood’s will be happy to have you as their second daughter in law," A reporter said to her.
"You can say that again, I love Kyle so much you see that I can do anything to take care of him," she said in return to the reporter.
"Oh, bull shit," I cursed out loud but again, but not enough for them to hear me I guess, I wished they did though.
"When should we expect the wedding, Miss Sonia?" Another reporter asked.
"I'm afraid we have to go now, that will be an answer for another day, please excuse me," Sonia said before closing the car door, she drove off immediately afterwards...
