"Don't mention it. Starting today, you will be Kim Yuan's Asia branch manager. Your dress must go with your status."

"What about your shoes?" he said, surprising me further.
"Shoes?"
"Your dresses wouldn't look nice on old pairs of shoes," he laughed softly.

"Wow! Thank you so much, Zed. Why do you buy lots of them?" I gasped in so much awe.
I was happy when Zed showed me our matrimonial house in a high-end subdivision, but the degree of my happiness wasn't like now. It's maybe because I was expecting the house, and that both of us would be enjoying it, even our children. Yet, this fortune in front of me touched me more. How could he give so much for me?
"Enjoy it while you aren't competing yet with the needs of the children. This is the reason why I didn't want you to get pregnant soon. I want to pamper you first. Believe me; you won't think about your personal wants and needs anymore once we will have children already."
"They are not our competitors, Zed," I grumbled.
"I know, but your focus would be on them already."
