After dinner, Miss Trish called to inform me that she had already sent the flight details to my email. Zed helped me prepare my things and even placed them in a small suitcase. He made sure that I had all I would need for a two-day trip. Though we only had to be there for a day and would be back by night, Zed wanted me to stay so that I could rest. He thought I would be exhausted at the end of the day. Thus, it wouldn't be good for my pregnancy.
We were about to go to bed when my phone sounded. The screen displayed Ara’s face the moment I picked up the phone from the bedside table.
“Yen, are you awake?” Ara spoke right into the line as soon as I pressed the blinking green icon.
"Yes, of course," I replied. "What's up?"
"It's Tim. I feel something isn't right anymore."
"Tell me more."
"He told me that Maezy wants him to stay in their house so that he could be there whenever she needs to go somewhere."
I frowned and felt that my circulation rose to my earlobes.
*Don't allow it. You are pregnant, and you need him more. And besides, we are just a few blocks apart. Tim can come to her in just two minutes."
"Tim accepts it, and I couldn't do something about it." Ara's voice already cracked. Gone was her high spirit and cheerfulness.
The nerve of this woman! If only Ara weren't in her last term, I would have told her the truth of Tim's betrayal.
"Then tell Maezy yourself. You are close friends. She would understand."
Ara didn't reply right away, but I could already hear her sniffling when she finally spoke.
"Yen, in our home, Tim's voice is the rule that I should follow. Once he has given his word on something, I can't bend it down. Since he has given his word to Maezy, he wouldn't back out on it anymore."
"Ar, you should speak this time and be firm. Let Maezy know that she couldn't just manipulate anyone."
"Yes, manipulative is the right word for her. Do you know that Kim doesn't like her? But she said she had ways of manipulating him. That's why he becomes her husband. But his true love is named Jakara Blue."
Jakara Blue. The name sounded familiar.
"Do you know who she is?" I asked. I was already getting more curious about the kind of woman who had captured Kim's heart. Kim had mentioned her to me twice already.
"Maezy didn't tell me everything. She just told me one time that Kim could never love her as he does with Jakara."
Suddenly, something came to my mind.
"Ar, how did you and Maezy become friends?"
"She was the one who approached me. I was at the park that time, resting from a morning jog. She was also there, doing push-ups. Why do you ask?" Ara asked.
"Just curious."
"By the way, Yen, I am watching a very nice movie. You should watch it before sleeping tonight. It's on Netflix, titled "365 Days." Tell me what you think about it tomorrow."
"Okay. But I'll choke you to death if it's boring."
"Promise."
I no longer knew how long Ara and I put our phone down, but the moment I did, I saw Zed asleep on the bed with just his boxers on. I stared at his front bulge, and I felt sorry for his huge but limping size.
There must be some ways to cure it, I thought. And I must do all means to come up with it.
I lay down beside him and turned off the light. Ara let me promise to watch the movie, so I plugged my earsets on. A few minutes after the introduction, there was that scene where a flight attendant did some mouth job for the male lead. Oozing with pregnancy hormones, I got turned on right away. But that wasn't the only sensual scene. During the whole course of the movie, there was a lot that by the end of the story, an inner flame had me burning with desire.
I stared at Zed's bulge again and got an idea of how to solve this blazing heat within me. I let my hand slip under his waistband, cupping right away his sleeping pet. He jolted awake when my hand gripped around his limp shaft. He immediately held my hand, stopping me from what I was doing.

I walked faster and got inside a building that suddenly appeared on my right side. Walking fast towards the elevator, I immediately closed the door once I slipped inside. But before it locked, two hands held the edges and slid it open.
"Don't ever run away from me, Jakara. I won't ever let you go."
