Maezy left that night with my promise to keep my mouth shut. Little did she know that her effort was all in vain because Kim had already known her dirty secret even before their marriage. He even knew that Mr.Yuki was in the country and had come to their house. He was even here in time to witness her seductive dance in front of Mr. Yuki and all her flirty moves for him. Aside from that, a man who could run huge companies like Kim could surely see her motive behind the seduction. And that was to see Jaykee's name in Mr. Yuki's last will.
I went upstairs and found that Zed was snoring lightly already. The girls' talk among Mazy, Ara, and me went far and wide that we no longer realized it was late at night already. Speaking of Ara, I suddenly remembered that Tim had imposed time restrictions on her. I got so worried, so I sent her a message.
"Ar, are you alright?"
Her reply came so soon. "Yes, of course."
"Wow, he must have eaten some shit. I'm expecting you're on a huge fight by now."
"I'm also surprised. He looked at his watch when I got inside our bedroom, but he just turned his head to the other side and snored again."
"He's perhaps too exhausted," I replied.
There was a pause for about ten minutes before her message came in again.
"Yen, I feel there's something wrong. He doesn't make love to me anymore."
Of course, I knew the reason why. And this was what I was so worried about. I wanted her out of any trouble while she was pregnant because that might affect her pregnancy.
"He's just exhausted. You can't expect him to remain aggressive now that he is working and studying at the same time."
"No, Yen. He will die without sex for a day."
I laughed softly, thinking how sex played its part in their relationship, but I got hurt. Hurt that my husband wasn't like him. I felt like missing the fun and essence of being a newly-wed.
"It's because you are ugly now," I said, imagining her flaring nose, her dark nape, and the pregnancy-induced melasma on her face.
"You're so mean." I could imagine her pouting, so I laughed louder.
"Don't worry. You will be twice as beautiful as when you're not pregnant yet after your delivery."
"What makes you say that?" came her immediate reply.
"It's because you will be giving him a handsome baby. And all your physical changes will then return to normal."
"Of course. Now, it's time for the ugly lady to sleep. Or this lack of sleep will make her uglier."
"You're right. Good night, ugly girl. I love you the most."
She replied with a tongue-out emoticon, and I giggled.
I put down my phone and removed my robe. But before I was able to slip it out of my left arm, my phone sounded. I thought it was Arah, but my heartbeats accelerated when I saw the name on the screen. It was Kim.
Before I read his message, I went over my phone's setting. I deleted the notification and turned off the future notification's appearance on my screen. Or else, Zed might suspect that I was having an ambiguous relationship with Kim if he sees his message appearing during the late hours of the night.
"Hi, Yen! Why are you still active? It's already past midnight."
"Kim, where are you?" I didn't know why, but I thought he was in a bar drinking and would create some trouble later.
I went to the couch on the opposite side of the bed instead of lying beside Zed. He might suddenly wake up and read our messages. To further hide our conversation, I renamed his account and made it Jakara Blue. It was a feminine name, so I was sure Zed would not suspect anything.
"Why? I'm in my room."
"I'm sorry. I thought you are already drunk by now and soon to create troubles with some people in a bar."
To prove to himself that he was telling the truth, he sent me a photo. He was wearing a white robe, and his hair was still glistening with water droplets.
"Okay. So, you're at home already?"
"Yes, at my home. Not in Maezy's tainted home."
I didn't need to wonder if he had another house or some condo units. He could afford to have as many units as he likes.
"Oh, I see," was my awkward reply.
"Would I come and watch her on a woman-on-top position with the old man?"
Because of my curiosity, I dared to ask
"Can't he do it anymore?"
Kim sent a laughing emoticon. I found it sexy.
"Many researchers say that about 60-64 percent of their research respondents say that they are still sexually active."
I also replied with a tongue-out emoticon. "And why did you say 'woman-on-top?' It made me think Mr. Yuki's pelvis and knees can't support him anymore."
Zed sent me another laughing emoticon.
"Sex can be a work of art, my dear. There are a lot of ways to satisfy a partner. And you should learn it by now because you are pregnant."
"No need," I quickly replied, but I regretted it as soon as he read the message.
"Because you're already good at it? You're also a lecturer, so I won't be surprised."
No need because I had a limp partner. No need because he was not interested in doing it with me.
Because I could not tell Kim about that, I just replied with, "Secret."
"Your husband must have a hard time taking you out of his mind while doing his lectures. Or perhaps, he couldn't wait to go home each day and make love with you."
I also sent him a laughing emoticon. "You're dreaming."
I regretted this again. This reply showed our flaws in bed.

I felt sad at this reply. Am I really the only one in Zed's heart? Does he have another woman in his heart that makes him disinterested in me? Am I blind all this time thinking that this dysfunction is due to the restrictions his family set on him?
Dwelling at these questions for a moment and thinking how Kim did the opposite, I suddenly felt horny.
I went to the guest room and locked the door. Then, I stripped my clothes away, aiming to satisfy myself in my own way.
