Shen Heyu dreamed for a second upon hearing Gu Siyu’s words. She couldn’t believe that Gu Siyu was actually inquiring about her personal affairs. She turned her head with some difficulty and looked at Yuexue.

“You know that I am Yuexue’s primary physician and you are her biological mother. If your circumstances improve, then Yuexue’s mood will improve too, which can greatly benefit her recovery. What I’m doing falls within the duties of a doctor,” he explained.
Shen Heyu knew that Gu Siyu had gone to great lengths just to help her. She silently lowered her head, and after seriously considering the matter, still steadfastly refused.
“You doctors are already quite busy, and you have no obligation to resolve the personal affairs of patients’ families. I should deal with this matter myself.
