“What did you say? Say that again?” Pei Yansi couldn’t believe what he was hearing from Shen Heyu, nor did he want to believe the words she had just uttered.
Shen Heyu was holding Gu Siyu’s hand tightly, and sensing her nervousness, Gu Siyu decided to play along. He lifted his hand and gently patted the back of Shen Heyu’s hand to reassure her.

Initially, Pei Yansi didn’t believe a word Gu Siyu said, but now, seeing the screensaver on his phone, he had to believe it, because the Shen Heyu in that photo was indeed her from four or five years ago.

Hearing Pei Yansi’s words, Shen Heyu unconsciously tightened her grip on Gu Siyu’s hand, her nails digging into his arm, causing Gu Siyu to wince, but he maintained a calm and composed demeanor, acting as if nothing happened.
