"Then he kissed me," I told Crystal. Crystal has finally forgiven me, when I came over to her side today, she opened the door and allowed me in. I explained all that happened between Rich and I and the stories behind it.
I also confessed to liking Ricardo and what has been going on between us. She had asked for every detail and every thing with one bit held back.
I begin telling her our journey to the cliff, to our late night hanging, and other stuff. I told her about my first kiss and her reaction was priceless. She was damn mad I kept it from her.
After apologising and explaining the reason for not telling her, I move on to last night and how he kissed me.
She says, "I can bet with my bracelet that he likes you!" She exclaims.
We were both sitting on her bed with pop corn in our hands.
"Don't you get his last words lily? He has to stay away because he believes you are taken; not by anyone but his best friend." She explains with a smile on her face.
"Omg! My best friend is getting a boyfriend soon!" She rejoices as she gets up from the bed swirling around in joy. I couldn't help but giggle.
"How sure are you?" I ask her.
"Out of 100%, I'd say 95.5%. Come to look at things from my angle lily, no guy goes around kissing any girl."
"You are so wrong, Ric is like a man whore," my heart sank saying that word. It was indeed true, Ric was a man whore, sex was like a game for him and so many other boys in New city high school.
"From the way you described the kiss, no one goes around kissing just any girl that way. And besides last night's kiss should give you more awareness of what he was trying to say to you.
"He avoided you because he thought you were dating Richard? Okay fine, you are not getting my point, so here is what you will do. Find out if he really likes you, that's your thing to do and not mine since you are not trying to understand me." She added face palming herself.
"And before you came, i was invited to a bikini party, be ready because you are tagging along my fav bi**h" she smirks going through her closet.
"What bikini party and I'm not going, I'm not always comfortable wearing a bikini," I explained to her.
"Shut up! You are going and besides loosen up and stop acting like a prude," she speaks without realising.
"Ouch! Prude? I am indeed," I retort sarcastically.
"I'm so sorry lily, I didn't mean it that way," she walks closer to me, apologising.
"Okay fine, you don't have to go," she told me. "Don't regret it when you don't get to see Ricardo because he sure is coming," she added with a wink.
Crystal is one of the craziest people I've met, how can someone be this way? Free lifestyle and on point.
"But I have stretch marks on my thigh," I explained to her. Those red colour stretch marks are so wicked. They lie on my lap like zebra marks.
She chuckles, "no one told you to get a thick lap, it's a sign of growth. You are growing and no one is complaining, am I?" She asked me to show off her dimples.
"Awww, I'm so glad we are back being friends, I miss you." I coo walking straight to her and hugging her real tight.
"Aww, I miss your scent lily," she coos back as we both burst into laughter.

Pool parties are great, i didn't expect this one to be. The place was crowded. Blue light illuminating the water, there was a DJ under a shade playing rocky songs. Some people in the pool while some lurking around making out. Girls in different colours of bikini and boys ogling over them dressed casually.
Ever since I've arrived, I've been scanning the area for Ric but he's nowhere to be seen. Suddenly an arms snake around my waist frightens me. I turn around and find Rich inhaling my hair.
What a weirdo!
" I'm so sorry for my behaviour the other time, I'm really sorry, please forgive me." He pleads. I didn't even keep that to heart.
"You are forgiven, now get your hands off my waist," I commanded and he did as asked.
Looking charming as usual dressed in a blue short was Ricardo, he was shirtless, showing his toned body, his hand and six packs. He had a red cup on his hand and was talking to some girl close to the pool. My heart sank as she began to dance or should I say twerk in front of him.
"Guess what?" Rich tells me, shaking me off my thoughts.
"Wh... what?" I stuttered. My chest was tightened and I became uncomfortable after seeing Ric with another girl.
He looks at me from my head to my toe before asking, "why are you not dressed in a bikini?" He asks furrowing his brows.
I notice my lips getting dry, so I lick them, sucking on my lower lips before answering, "what do you wanna tell me?" I retort, my voice lower than before. The tightening of my chest wasn't helping and I needed to leave.
Before he could speak, we were interrupted as everyone was called into the house. I stood back wanting some air.
After five minutes of walking around, I deep my feet into the po sitting down. The feeling was refreshing as I closed my eyes.
"You know everyone is inside, why are you here.....alone?" A familiar masculine voice asks. I knew who it was as my heart beats erratically.
I remained silent, trying to maintain myself. Suddenly that person deeps his feet into the pool too as he sits down besides me. I shiver slightly as I wrap my arms around myself feeling the goosebumps of my skin.
I moved a bit trying to avoid closeness, I guess he observed it and moved closer. "I'm sorry about last night Liliana."
What? Is that all? Always sorry about it? Does he even ask how I'm feeling?
I scoff, "indeed, you are always sorry. Oh wait, let me get this straight, it was your way of comforting me right? Just like the last time!" I speak up sarcastically raising my voice higher than normal.
"I don't..."
"Just keep whatever you have to yourself Ricardo!" I remove my leg from the pool, standing up to my feet.
"Do you ask how I feel everytime you kiss me?! No, you don't!" I clap.
"You just believe everything is fine, you always get a say while I don't get any, you think I'm an object with no feelings? Do you?" I asked.
"I guess not, do you realise that's I don't consider those kisses you consider as a friend......" I was shut up with a pair of lips on mine.
My eyes widened at that attempt as I stood still trying to process all that was happening. Mixed feelings running through me wasn't helping at the moment as my stomach dances.
What was I to do? Kiss back or not?
