Ricardo's POV
It all started from first sight. Coming down the stairs, I met a ravishing and gorgeous person. A girl standing close to an older version of her and my mom; dressed in a jean trouser and blue top. I don't know what was really enticing about her that day but something intrigued me.
The blank look I gave her at first followed by my signature smirk didn't move her, instead she looked at me back with a blank look. She wasn't thrilled by me and that was new. I know it's kinda cliche with me having girls ogle around me, but her case was different.
Normally girls would have tried getting my attention but we walked in silence, nothing spoken, I knew then, that she was going to be different.
The quiet girl I took her to was changed the moment she said I wasn't 4% on a scale of 10%.
Her laughter, her smile, her mode of dressing, her way of walking, her voice, everything about her made me intrigued and stupidly I let the emotion run through without realising what I was going for.
The beach was the first time I heard the rapid beat of my heart. That moment I knew something had changed again. I suddenly wanted to stay close, make her laugh, assist her. I don't go around showing off my intelligence but I didn't know what made me solve those questions for her.
I laughed at first when I saw the cheap questions. I could solve these questions even before I thought. I would have smacked Tyler's head if he was the one who couldn't solve them but it was Lily, my smile.
Yes I secretly call her my smile. I'm one to smile a lot but those were forced smiles. But with Lily it was natural, laughing, smiling and playing around not having any dirty thought was all new.
Seeing her at the party was quite surprising for me, she dressed as if she was going for an interview and when she was being mocked, I hated it, that was the first time I knew she could be easily influenced. She wanted to prove them wrong and that made me riled up doubting who she was.
Slowly, slowly, the feelings I had at bay began to escalate, the first time I kissed her, from then I knew what I really felt for her. 'I couldn't let it happen, I had to deny those feelings'.
Failingly I kept going back to her, finding comfort in her and opening up to her.
Even when I planned on staying away, I just couldn't, her face, her smile, her voice. It would have been easy for me to go after her but the fear of pain that it'd cause. The same pain my both parents are suffering from?
Then Richard came in, how did they hook up when she mostly hung out with me? She was taken by my best friend and another reason to stay and avoid her but I just couldn't. I'm trying to do so but she keeps asking questions and wanting answers.
Last night I indirectly told her my feelings through that kiss, I know she felt it too, there was also this electric current flow between us and I sure saw the way she looked at me but dating Richard is making me doubt.
Why did she return the kiss? I was meant to come back home after the new year but because of her, I came back. I missed her scent, a mixture of vanilla and mint.
Seeing her at that party dressed in a black short gown that stopped on her mid thigh showing her flawless leg. She was in a five inch stiletto. Wearing makeup and looking so damn seductive, I kinda liked it and did not, seeing the way boys ogle over her. I got the biggest shock when I saw Richard punching Daniel.
Daniel, Richard and I haven't gotten the best relationship from day one. Daniel was a year older than us, he's in his final year in high school.
The rivalry started when he was replaced by me as the captain of the team. I was also a big competition to him, I was always a step ahead of him and that was to his disadvantage. If only he knew basketball wasn't something I plan on going further into, he wouldn't be that bothered.
When I spoke to my mother, the week before I flew to Mexico about Liliana, she had told me to act on it and not let her life ruin my happiness. If only I knew I would be coming back to get the shocking news of Richard and her dating, I would have stayed there.
Coming back, I planned on not holding back anymore but now that she's with Richard, I'd sink that feeling.
After the kiss, I didn't stay at home because I didn't want to be tempted. I went off to Tyler's.

"You wouldn't want to spend your New Year's Eve in Mexico when I tell you this," Tyler says. I just told him I was going back to Mexico until school resumes.
"Dorathy and Mona will be throwing a new years Eve party at this pool, and guess what? All girls are to dress in bikinis," he explains, chuckling. Whenever Tyler chuckles, it's all about the ass he's gonna tap.
I shake my head mentally, it's been long since i actually had a release, maybe it's time.
"I can't wait to see the different colours of ass, different kinds of pussy," he chuckles.
