After crying for a long time, I just sat in his arms without saying anything. I looked up at the ceiling of our room, my eyes felt heavy with swelling.
“What do you think??”
My voice sounded terrible after crying.
“I thought you were asleep.”
I smiled at his serious statement.
“Go to sleep, you should get plenty of rest.”
“I don’t want to sleep, can we talk??”
“We’re talking now.”
I laughed and my laughter sounded dry, I swallowed my saliva in an attempt to fix the condition of my dry throat.
“Can we see Dracula’s castle??”
“Dracula’s castle??!”
“Yes.”
“You mean our house??!”
I nodded my head and looked up at him, his laugh sounded soft, he shook his head slowly in response to my statement that the house he built was like Dracula’s castle.
“We’re leaving this afternoon, you need to sleep and I know you need sleep.”
I nodded in agreement, then I yawned sleepily, crying drains a lot of energy and emotion. Back on my pillow, I shifted away from Sean I positioned my body sideways facing him, he removed a few strands of my hair that covered my ears.
“I’ll be here until you fall asleep.”
I smiled softly then closed my heavy eyes, all the emotional burdens I felt were sinking along with my consciousness which was slowly disappearing.

I squirmed as I felt someone’s lips kiss my entire face over and over again. My eyes slowly opened, Sean smiled charmingly right above my face, I smiled with a feeling still half sleepy.
“Wake up, sleeping beauty, we have to go see Dracula’s castle.”
I smiled wider as I closed my eyes, maybe the term had stuck with him, or he was trying to be sarcastic but still sounded funny. I blinked my eyes repeatedly to get rid of my drowsiness, my eyes felt heavy and quite sticky, maybe because before I went to sleep I had cried. Getting out of bed, I saw Sean was taking something from his walk-in closet as I headed to the bathroom.
After showering and getting dressed, I rushed out of the room to the living room, Sean was sitting on the sofa, on the table, there were several sheets of paper, I took a seat right beside him.
“What’s all this??” My eyes stared at the papers that appeared on the table.
“Only Oslo’s financial statements sent Agatha.”
He answered without looking at me, his attention focused entirely on the files. This is strange, usually the report must be sent via email.
“Is there a problem with your email??”
“Yeah, my email is being watched by someone.”
Oh, Hell! This situation is getting worse. Suddenly, my body felt like it was trapped in a block of ice. That means, someone is watching my husband and not demanding the possibility, that person will be mean to him. My Inner Goddess shuddered in horror.
“You have to be careful, I don’t want anything to happen to you....” I took a deep breath, suddenly my chest tightened at the thought of what could happen to my husband.
“Again,” I continued after I could find my voice again. There was no response from him, the file seemed to occupy all of his attention, seen from the serious look on his face. His cell phone rang, Sean stood up while answering the phone call and then away from me, he went to the balcony of the living room. My gaze followed his figure, I turned my face towards the few papers that were still on the table at this time. I’m not interested to know about it, I looked at my Inner Goddess to see if she also thought the same as me, and she didn’t pay any attention to me, her attention was caught by the Korean drama she was watching. I turned to my senses, it seemed, the mood to know things wasn’t here.
“SAM!!”
I was surprised when Sean called out to Sam loudly, Sam came from the kitchen half running. My gaze followed the figure of Sam who currently arrived in front of Sean who was standing in front of the balcony door of the living room. I don’t know what they were talking about but it seemed very serious, five minutes later, Sam left Sean to his room, while my husband came over to me, it was getting late.
“Sorry, honey, we can’t go see our house today, I have to go to the office.”
Somehow I feel disappointed after he said that.
“Is this a serious matter?” I looked at him with a slightly curious look.
“No, don’t go anywhere while I’m gone.”
This sounds ominous to me, so I got up from the couch and stood next to it.
“Then I’ll come with you.” I folded my arms under my breasts. Sam’s arrival caught our attention.
“No! You stay here and don’t go anywhere!”
Sean left with Sam after saying his orders which pissed me off. I know, something’s going on, but, if he doesn’t want me to interfere, at least don’t act like this.
“It’s time for me to go home, do you still need anything?”
Mrs. Liam startled me, I turned my face towards him.
“No, Mrs. Liam, thanks for today.” I gave him a smile that contained my gratitude, he smiled back.
“I’ll take you home, I happen to want to go out too.”
“But-“
“It’s not good to deny the kindness of others, Mrs. Liam.”
I insisted, and he nodded. I smiled contentedly. Who said that Sean could just keep me here with all his domineering attitude that made me feel like I was suffocating?!? Immediately I went to take my car keys and cell phone, both things were stored in the drawer of my dresser. I think Sean forgot that I was his stubborn wife.
Mrs. Liam stared at my Ferrari with wide eyes.
“Are we going to ride this??” He asked in disbelief.
“Yup, we don’t have any other vehicles here, and this is mine, Mrs. Liam.” I answered as best I could Mrs. Liam has no pride in it, but it’s really hard when you really have something amazing and people want to know if it’s yours or not, then you have to admit it without looking cocky.
