I LOOKED UP at the large building in front of me. I took off my sunglasses and slightly glanced at the indicated names of the company in front of me.
Del 'tower Corporation. I didn’t spare the beauty and modernity of its workmanship. I can say they are very successful in the field of business. Not because he is famous but because of the extent of the business his family has.
I winced when I heard my cellphone ring in my pocket.
"Where the hell is you?!" I heard a loud voice to me as I answered the call.
I brushed up my hair and rolled my eyes before I speak. "Already here," I said reluctantly.
"Good." Then he turned off the call. Again I blew a violent air into my chest before stepping my feet inside the building.
"Good morning, ma'am! How can I help you?" A wide smile of the receptionist greeted me.
"I was about to meet Mr. Rexon Del 'Torre?" I politely answer before smiling. But her smile faded from her lips before she looked at me from head to toe.
"Ah, what is your name, please?" she asked again and the attendance dropped to the monitor.
"Cherry made Banaag," I answered.
"Just wait for a second ma'am." Then she held the chordless phone and dialed.
When she dropped the call and returned the wide smile to me.
"He's on the 25th floor, room 15." She told me to trace the smile I could not fathom.
"Thank you." Then I turned my back on to enter the elevator.
I couldn’t help but glance at the entirety of the building. The full glass wall was very impressive. And the two grand staircase shows how elegant the building is. They were a large frame hanging on the wall in front of the staircase that grabs more attention for the guests.
I took a glimpse of their photos. And I can say they are perfectly looking together. Dawson and Rexon are handsome. I'm no doubt about it. And the parents who are sitting on the couch have the aura and power.
Dawson is the example of a man that every girl dreamed about. You probably give him a second look even if he doesn't look at you. Very expressive pair of eyes, his jaw sets hard while his lips will leave you speechless. Tall, dark, and handsome define a term. At that point, I turned my gaze to Rexon.
Like Dawson, it won't lose to the beautification man. I swallowed as the gaze traveled the entirety of him. How this man can capture the heart of the sea with his effortlessly smile? I closed my eyes sharply and shook my head.
"Not bad either," I said as I entered the elevator. When I came out, I was so overwhelmed by the size of this floor. I wasted no time and searched Rexon's room.
My feet were numb when I reached the door. I put some air in my chest before I hit the buzzer. I deliberately shocked the man who opened the door for me.
"Cherry!" Jeff immediately smiled broadly at me as he gently kissed me on the cheek which I couldn’t avoid.
I also didn't move immediately because of the suddenness. I also swallowed hard when I saw Rexon sitting on the couch staring at me.
"Please, come in!" He eased the door open.
Reluctantly, I entered with great nervousness. Jeff is at my side while holding my elbow closer to where Rexon is, I also notice that his eyebrows meet mine.
"G-good morning," I utterly said.
"You're late!" he said coldly.
"Hey, easy, we're leaving at 10 am, aren't we?" I could still hear Jeff's slight laugh at Rexon.
He did not bother to answer but stood up without warning to go to another room and without saying a word slammed the door close.
I was able to fold my palms because of what he did.
"Sit down first," Jeff said to me.
I smiled slightly after glancing at the member of the band, Zack and Skye at the minibar.
"I'm sorry about Rex. He always has a hot-temper," Jeff said and he took his seat.
I barely nodded at him and sat quietly in front of him. I just kept quiet while we waited for Rexon to come out.
I have a moment to look around and check his suite. I can't help but think how much would it cost to rent a room like this? Expensive to sleep here even just one night.
"Cherry, right? How old are you?" I turned to Skye who was just sitting on my opposite sofa and smile lively at me.
"I'm twenty-one." I gave him a shy smile.
"Hmm?" He smiled at me broadly. I wouldn't have noticed but he has an especial effect on someone when he's smiling. I also couldn't help but look back at Zach who was still drinking at the mini-bar. He is handsome too. As well as Jeff who has a jolly personality.
So I won't be surprised why they are liked by the fans not only because they are good in the field of singing but also because they claim to be handsome that the fans are crazy about.
Jacky immediately entered my mind. If only she knew where I am. She will probably envy right now.
I winced when the door opened and it spat on the man holding the towel while wiping his wet hair.
He was wearing a plain white shirt and black trousers. His arms were raised in a gesture that blown me away. He has a very impressive body and a perfect muscle tone that makes my heart pounding fast.
I swallowed and leaned hard on the sofa chair when our eyes met. There is something in his eyes that I couldn't explain. Every time he stares at me as he does right now, I feel like I'm always chasing my heartbeat. I didn't like this feeling especially for him so I averted my gaze.
"Did you call Dawson?" Jeff started to hold the guitar.
He did not answer, instead, he sat down in the highchair and continued wiping his hair there.
"Damn! He can't just leave us alone! How about our projects and our gigs?!" Jeff raised his voice to Rex.
"He didn't answer my calls, maybe he left the country?!" Skye said.
"How about our concert?" Zach interrupted the conversation.
Again I just listened quietly and glanced at Rexon who pulled the towel over his head and slightly ruffled his wet hair.
"What I'm concerned about is Lara," Rexon answered that the bottle of wine was even snatched from Zach.
I was swallowed up by what he said, even how he ran his tongue over her wet lips that even though I didn't like it, it was as if I was getting drunk to it.
