"ENOUGH CHERRY, you might get drunk," he says seriously.
"Come on! You like it don't you?! You make me sit here and drink, then you don't want me to get drunk?!" I bravely pulled out the bottle of vodka from him.
He did nothing because I immediately pour the brandy into my glass shot. Gradually I felt the heat of my two cheeks and under my eyes when I drank it. This is how it feels to be drunk, how delicious it feels.
"For Calixto and Amanda!" I said aloud with a bitter smile.
"Cheers!"
“Listen, I don’t want you to get drunk,” he continued. He almost whispered those words to me.
"I'm fine Calixto, why don't you just mind your girlfriend, instead of me?" I said with my stern lip. I raised my hand to press it to my cheek.
His jaw tightens as I did.
"I'll take you home." He grabs my wrist.
"No, I'll take her home..." We both turned to the man who stood at my side.
"Rexon?!"
REXON is wearing a black jacket with a hood on his head and he even put on a ballcap. He immediately put his arm around me and snatched the glass of vodka from me, which he drank.
"Rexon!" The woman in front almost screamed his name.
"Sshh..." He stopped the person named Icy from trying to scream.
"R-Rexon?!" I feel like I've lost my drunkenness because of the tightness of his embrace in me. Even his gentle caress on my shoulder gives more electricity to my body.
"Do you know each other?!" Icy asked me in surprise.
"Isn't obvious?" He glanced at me then winked before smiling.
I was shocked at what he did. Did he wink at me?
"What are you doing here, Mr. Del Torre?" Calixto's words cut through our gaze.
"It's not bad to unwind after a hard-working day, right?" He glanced at me again as if asking for my consent.
He pulled out the glass of vodka again at the table and without saying a word he pour the content into my glass shot to drink it straight away.
"Yes, of course not!" Icy replied quickly holding Rexon's hand but he didn't waste any time to attend to Icy.
"So... Shall we?" He smiled at me and guided me upright.
"Oh, by the way, I already paid for your drinks, it's my treat. Enjoy!" He even tapped Calixto on the shoulder before pulling me away from my seat.
I looked at them who were still stunned by the speed of events. I even saw Calixto's violent erection that would have tried to follow me but Amanda stopped him.
I haven't been able to walk straight because of dizziness. Thank God Rexon's arms were strong and steady.
I was still dumbfounded as I rode his car away from Calixto's Restau Bar. We must have been running for almost half an hour and soaked in silence that no one wanted to speak.
"Why do you let him hurting?" He finally spoke.
I couldn’t help but look back at what he said.
"W-what are you talking about?" I shook my head as I leaned on the backrest of his car.
"I've been watching you the whole time. You're just forced to sit and drink with them."
I quickly glanced at him with shocked eyes. "H-no ah, I've known them since college." I averted my eyes.
He just smirked, while he glance at the window repeatedly.
"I've known a lot of people like that, people numb to love." Then he laughs slightly.
I looked up again with my cats-eye. "Excuse me?!" I squinted my eyes more.
"You know what kind of woman you are? You are martyrs... in love. Lack of attention and doomed." And then he laughed out loud.
"Excuse me?!" I glared at him.
"Though it sounds sarcastic, at some point, you have to face the truth, even if it hurts." He shrugs a little bit.
I can feel the warmth of my two cheeks. Why do I feel like he is advising me? Wait what does he know about me?
"You don't know me. Besides you have no right to tell me what I should do!" I spat out, still dizzy.
"Hey, I'm just stating a fact!" He turned his car to somewhere I don't familiar with.
I want to protest but my dizziness enveloped me. I didn't even realize that I was drowsy due to drunkenness.

I barely felt as I lay down my body into the soft bed. But I immediately turned around and got up when I was realizing that this is not my bed.
"Oh damn!" I said out loud. I took a deep breath. Immediately checked my clothes even my underwear was still intact on my body.
There was no pain between my thighs, but my head hurts. I just sat on my head with a sore head after looking around the room.
"Where am I?" I spoke softly.
My question was immediately answered when Rexon came out of the door. He is wearing a white shirt and boxer shorts while he's drying up his hair using a black towel.
"What am I doing here?!" I blurted out. I quickly wrapped the blanket around my body.
He looked at me full of astonishment.
"What are trying to do to me?” I sat back down until I reached the end of the bed.
I saw him just smile at me and without warning, he dropped the towel at his feet. And he tried to come closer to me.
"Don't come any closer! I'll scream!" I warned.
But he has already started to step closer. His eyes emit a fire. He then slowly rake his hair up and smiled at me devilishly.
I was so nervous because of how his dark eyes looking at me. I've reached the very corner of the bed and quickly covered myself with a pillow and blanket.
"I'll scream. Don't try to come near me!" I stabilized my voice but I couldn’t help but tremble with fear.
"This room is soundproofed, babe. Even if you shout out loud no one can hear you." He started to rip out his shirt and knelt on the soft bed.
"Fuck you!" I shouted and threw the pillow at him and tried to run away but he grabbed my midriff body and laid me down on the bed with all his might.
Everything happened so fast I don't know how he laid me down on the bed while holding my two hands.
"Let me go! You pervert!" I shouted as I struggled.
"Come on, it's just a moment." His voice illegally kills my strength, I don't know how to react at this moment, because he is now an inch away from me.
Gradually the heat rises in my two eyes. I closed my eyes to hide the tears that wanted to spill from my eyes.
"Please, Rexon let me go," I said shakily.
"Hey, look at me..." He ordered. Out of fear I followed what he did and met his gaze.
"Do you think I could do that to you, huh?" he whispered.
I blinked when he started to laugh. The grip on my hands loosened and let me go free.
"Fuck you!" I pushed him away and tried to slap him on the chest. I don’t know why my tears flowed as I did that.
"Hey, I'm sorry! I was just joking!" He tried to grab my wrist and he finally succeeded.
"I'm sorry... Okay?"
But my eyes were already wet with tears. I don’t know if I’m angry or disgusted at what he did. I was about to surrender myself to him right now because I feel like my life is useless.
I was stunned when he wiped away my tears as it stared at me.
"Life can be a real bastard sometimes. Whoever broke you is a big damn jerk for making you cry," he said in a hushed voice.
I couldn't help but turn a blind eye to what he said. His words were too rushed for me. I love someone who can't love me back and that was fucking hurt.
"Move on is the best revenge." Then he grinned at me baring his even teeth.
I thought about what he had said and glanced at him a little. But my eyes slowly drifted to his well-built body. It was as if I wanted to touch it.
"Are you hurt too?" I didn't want to come out of my lips.
"I'm in the process of moving on. Even though we don't have one yet..." He smiled at me but I knew it didn't reach his eyes.
I swallowed hard as I watched his eyes became darker. Even the bitterness in his smile is traceable. We were the same, he still had hoped for the impossible to happen.
"Who's the lucky girl?" I asked.
He glanced at me. If it used to look dark, now there seems to be a twinkle in his eyes while staring at me.
"She's my sister-in-law," he said in a softer tone.
