No One’s POV

Grace heard the sound of the woman and came out of the kitchen wondering who came to their house at this time. She saw someone in Zayden’s arms.
“Grace…”, She heard her name and before she could understand and see the face of the woman clearly, that woman almost jumped on her and gave a loud cry of happiness. “I wanted to meet you for a long time.”, She said, breaking the hug.
This time, Grace got the chance to see her face, and the first thing she noticed about that woman was that she was beautiful...very beautiful. She had the same pitch-black eyes just like her husband and was very fair. She wasn’t very tall but she looked elegant.
She mentally thanked Zayden for showing the picture of Allison otherwise she wouldn’t have recognized her.
“Allison…”
“Yes”, Allison nodded her head. “It’s so nice to see you. I mean the only woman whom my brother cared for so much that he could do anything for her.”
“Me too.”, Grace replied honestly. Even she wanted to meet the only family of Zayden whom he loved so much.
“You are so beautiful! No wonder my brother loves you!”, Allison said bluntly in one breath.
“Aaa...thank you.”, Grace blushed and averted her gaze from her, that's when her eyes landed on another woman. This woman was entirely new to her, as Zayden had never talked about anyone else except Allison, so who was she?
“Oh! I am so sorry, Grace. I forgot to introduce you to my friend. Please meet her, Sarah.”, She pointed toward the woman who was standing near the door.
Grace walked towards her with a warm smile. But her smile faded a little when Sarah didn’t move from the place. She walked toward Sarah and pulled her for a hug.
“Welcome.”, She said generously. She could swear this woman that she just hugged was one of those models whom she had seen on TV. It was a quick hug. She soon strengthened herself and saw Sarah smile at her back which looked more like a forced one. Allison looked at Grace with dreamy eyes. Even though it was just one minute or so, but she suddenly had a liking for Grace. The fact that her heartless brother actually fell in love with someone, had made Grace reach the ninth sky. Truth to be told, she had started liking Grace from the day she came to know her brother felt emotions as well as his wolf after looking at her. Now that she had seen her, she was sure that her brother got the best woman for himself.
“Now, that everyone has been introduced, can we go to bed? Because it’s already too late? We will talk tomorrow.”, he said. “You both can choose whichever room you want. Okay?”, he ordered.
“Grace, Can I share the room with you?”, Allison asked innocently. Grace smiled at this and agreed. Zayden immediately looked at Grace angrily. He knew that this would happen. With the arrival of his sister, he would have to share Grace’s time with her and he hated it. He knew her sister very well but no way on earth would he let Grace sleep with her.
‘How would I sleep without her?’, He wondered.
“No way”, Zayden announced in a serious tone. He didn’t want to share his love.
“Oh Yes! Thank you so much, Grace.”, Allison smiled and completely ignored her brother’s statement. He was about to comment again but Allison didn’t let him. She took Grace’s hand on her and guided her upstairs.
“So Grace, which will be our room?”, Allison asked.
“That one.”, She replied, pointing at the room which was exclusively her. Sarah intentionally touched Zayden’s hand, following them. A wave of sparks rang in Zayden’s body on Sarah’s touch but he closed his eyes to control himself.
‘We have to mark Grace, soon!’, his wolf said.
‘I know. Because it won’t happen as soon as possible and we might end up choosing her because of the mate bond.’, Zayden nodded.
At that instant, Eric entered the house with two big men following him. “Allison, Sarah, your bags have arrived.”
“Eric, please bring my bags here.”, Allison said, pointing toward the room.
Eric nodded and took her bag. While doing so, he mind linked Zayden. ‘Wyatt should have known about Allison by now. And he loves her as much as you do. So, how can we keep Allison away from him?’, He asked.
‘I don’t care how much he loves her. He won’t be able to meet Allison. That’s final.’, Zayden sealed his words.
Eric nodded. Right then, they heard Sarah called Zayden.
“Zayden?”, She called him.
“Yes”, Zayden replied with no emotion as he usually was.
“Can you please help me with my bags? It's quite heavy.”, She asked. Zayden wouldn’t have minded doing this, even being an Alpha, if those bags belonged to Grace or Allison. But he knew Sarah’s intentions behind doing so. He knew she had asked for his help especially so she could stay close to him or touch him. Moreover, how couldn't a female werewolf lift her bag? But anyways, no way in hell was he going to let her succeed in this.
“Eric, please help her. I will take Allison’s bags.”, he ordered.
Sarah closed her eyes in frustration. No matter how much she tried to stay close to him, he always pushed her way. She felt that he needed space and some time, that’s why he had rejected her. She had thought her story would be like a werewolf queen and werewolf king, where the king had rejected the queen at first but later on, accepted him. But nothing like that happened, Zayden never returned back to her, instead he chose a weak and pathetic human as his mate.
Eric smirked after listening to Zayden’s words. He knew the intention of Sarah to come here. In fact, he was there when Zayden had rejected her and she didn’t accept his rejection. He felt bad for her. But what he didn’t like was, she never tried to work on their mate bond nor moved on in her life. And now, she was here, just because she heard that Zayden had chosen someone as his mate.
Eric picked the bags and followed Sarah to the room which she had chosen. He kept her bags and was about to walk out of the room, he spoke, “Zayden loves Grace a lot.”, Sarah very much knew why he said that. He was indirectly saying - to stay away from him.
“But she doesn’t. That’s the reason she doesn’t carry his marks.”, She replied curtly.
“Don’t stoop low, Sarah. Accept the rejection and move on with your life.”
“Did I ask your opinion?”
“And there I felt bad for you. I always thought Alpha should not have rejected you but after seeing this side of yours, now I feel that he made the right decision.”, He said before leaving her room.
