No One’s POV

“So, we will be going to the city tomorrow, for shopping and having fun? What do you say?”, Allison asked Grace about it, after hearing from Grace that she had never been to the city.
“I don’t know whether Zayden will allow it or not.”, She mumbled. Because Allison had planned this outing without Zayden in it.
“Don’t worry about that. He won’t say NO to me.”, Allison said and winked.
“Grace, by what time Zayden will come? I haven’t seen him since this morning.”, Sarah asked her. Allison closed her eyes at her stupidity of bringing Sarah here. She had told Allison that she had accepted the rejection and had moved on in her life but observing her attempts to stay close to Zayden was irritating her.
Grace looked in Sarah’s direction and thought why just she stopped caring about him! But not going against her nature, she politely replied.
“He said he had some important meetings to attend. Why?”, Grace asked.
“N.Nothing. I was asking simply.”
“Oh okay.”, She replied and resumed watching the movie which Allison forcefully made her watch. An action scene played in the movie to which Grace sighed. She hated action in any movie or real life. She was a peace-loving woman.
“Wow! Did you see Grace? What a great punch it was!”, Allison chirruped like a baby who just got candy.
“Allison, you know it’s fake, right?”, She reasoned.
“You don’t like action?”, Allison asked curiously.
“Nope!”, She said while popping the ‘p’. Allison laughed.
“How strange! Zayden loves actions whereas you don’t.”, Sarah spoke.
“He does?”, Grace asked as it was new information for her.
“Yes. he hates softy romantic stupid movies.”, Sarah added.
“You know so much about him.”, Grace stated with a smile, respecting her feelings which she had for Zayden.
“Don’t worry, Grace! You will soon know everything about him. And see and feel more of him than anyone in the world can!”, Allison spoke with double meaning hidden in her words so that Grace wouldn’t feel bad. Grace gasped as she realized what Allison meant. Sarah felt a pang of jealousy.
“But he doesn’t have any interest in intimacy!”, Sarah stated, recalling how much he hated staying around any woman including her. While Grace chuckled at Sarah’s words and stopped herself from saying the truth.
‘Zayden doesn’t have an interest in intimacy! Nonsense, I have never seen a pervert more than him!’, She thought.
“Seems like Grace recalled something! Would you like to share with us?”, Allison teased her. Grace playfully threw popcorn on her.
“You really have a dirty mind, Ally!”, She exclaimed to which Allison laughed.
“Ally? Not bad. I liked it.”, Allison winked and ate the popcorn which Grace had thrown at her. “By the way, don’t tell my brother about my dirty mind otherwise he will place bullets in my mind.”, She joked.
They continued to watch the movie for half an hour more when the doorbell rang. Without checking the time, Grace knew that it was him.
“Must be him.”, Grace said and got up to open the door. But Sarah beat her to that.
“Don’t worry, I will get it.”, She said too sweetly, which Grace couldn’t deny even though she wanted to. She shared the PIN of the door and Sarah went forward to open the door. Grace turned her head to see who was at the door, even when she knew who it was.
Sarah opened the door and for once Zayden thought she was his wife. She looked at the small bouquet of roses in his hand and smiled. Zayden had brought the bouquet for Grace to apologize to her for his morning behavior.
“Where is Grace?”
“Roses?”
Zayden and Sarah spoke at the same time.
“I am here.”, Grace said and stood up to walk towards him. She was in no mood to make Zayden again even after knowing that he always gets mad at Sarah. This caught Allison’s attention and she looked at them with interest.
Zayden ignored Sarah’s question entirely and walked toward his chosen mate who was smiling at him like an idiot. He hugged her dearly as soon as she was at arms’ length.
“Here.”, He gave her the flowers. “And sorry for my rude behaviour in the morning.”
“Aww! And there I thought my brother hates romantic movies but here he is acting like a romantic hero!”, Allison commented to which Zayden chuckled.
“Well, you can’t blame me for that. Your sister-in-law turned me into a romantic hero!”, He replied, which earned him a slap on his chest by Grace. “What?”, he whined like a child.
“You are impossible!”, Grace said and turned around to walk toward the kitchen to bring chilled water for him.
“Are you forgetting something, again?”, He asked with a grin pasted on his handsome face. She sighed and walked back. She knew everyone was watching them but her husband had sworn to embarrass her in front of everyone and she couldn’t help herself to avoid this situation. She quickly tip-toed and kissed him on his cheek. She didn’t wait even for a second before running from there at lightning speed. He realized what she did and couldn’t help but chuckle.
‘Why is she so shy whereas I am not even one percent of it?’, He thought.
“Ahem Ahem.”, Allison looked at her brother and grinned widely while Sarah was fuming in anger.
