Shubh's POV
" Vidhi ?? What are you doing here? " I gave my hand to pick her up but she ignored it.
" How many times, do I have to tell you, not to wear those killer heels. Why can't you wear flats?? You always keep twisting your feet. Why don't you understand anything? " I said all of a sudden. I was so annoyed to see her hurt.
I sat down near her foot and tried to rub her ankle, but she stopped me.
" What are you doing sir?? Please don't bother. I can manage on my own. "
" Sir ?? Are you serious?? So you don't even recognise me now? " I said trying to remove her high heeled sandal from that foot. I never understood why she wore them. I swear I wanted to throw all her high heels in the trash bin.
She pushed my hand away. We kept arguing for a long time but she did not let me help her. She kept calling me sir as if she didn't even know my name. It was irritating me beyond the limit.
She called some man named Armaan and asked for his help. I was raging like an angry bull by now. I swear, I wanted to beat the hell out of that man.
Who was he ?? Were they so close that she didn't hesitate to ask for his help while I was standing there dying to help her? But she refused to take my help. Why??
I asked her who was he? I could not help myself as the green-eyed monster was bothering me to hell. But she didn't tell me.
I was burning with jealousy. Just then a good looking boy came running towards us. He looked concerned for her. So this was Armaan?
I literally saw red when she asked him to take her to see a doctor. I have been telling her to come with me but she had declined firmly.
I refused to let her go but the adamant girl said, " No... I would rather go with my friend then going away with someone who is not even friendly. " I clenched my jaw and fist.
He extended his hand and just when she was about to hold it when I caught her hand and slid my arm around her.
But the stubborn girl made me leave her alone. I could not create a scene there. Ayesha had also come back. She would be my coworker, I didn't want her to know about my personal life. It was not proper.
Vidhi refused my help and asked me to have my lunch while she left with that man.
She was walking with a limp. That idiot was holding her hand while she walked with difficulty. Looser...
Had she gone with me, I would not have let her walk with pain in her foot. I could easily carry her to the doctor.
But thank God he didn't even try to carry her. I had no intention to spend my life in jail. I would have killed him on the spot if only he had even thought of touching her.
She turned to look at me, just before they got out of the restaurant.
I was so angry and irritated by then, that I apologized Ayesha about the lunch and left the hotel that instant.
I came out of the hotel and kept burning with anger as she had still not come out of the hotel.
Was she still with him?? Who was he?? Those questions kept troubling me.
My phone was buzzing continuously. I saw that Sandhya was calling me. I picked the call. She was inviting me for the dinner. I didn't know what to say to her. I was so confused as I didn't want to go, but at the same time, I wanted to go too.
I was concerned about Vidhi and wanted to confront her, so I told Sandy that I would be there.

It was almost 7:30 PM. I was standing in front of their door again. I rang the bell. This time also, Manu opened the door.
" Hi, I am here... Sandy... invited me to dinner. "
" Come in, Shubh Ji." She said with a smile.
" Sorry, I didn't know you earlier, but now I know you." She said with a smile. We started walking inside.
I saw Vidhi in the living room along with so many people. She was shocked to see me again. I looked at her foot, she seemed ok. So, I took a deep breath.
I was dying to talk to her but I just could not talk in front of everyone. I wanted to get her alone.
After some time she went to the kitchen, this was my chance to talk to her. So I excused myself saying that I need to go to the washroom and went to the kitchen instead, to talk to Vidhi.
Her back was turned towards me and she was laying the plates for snacks when I pulled her arm roughly to turn her around.
" Why are you doing this?? " I said while turning her. But I was shocked to see that it was Manu, not Vidhi.
Where was she?? She had gone to the kitchen...
" Shubh Ji ?? What happened?? "
" Oh !! I am sorry... I thought... you were... " I was too shocked to react. I forgot that I was still holding her hand.
" Vidhi. Right?? " She asked.
I was shocked again. Was is so obvious??
" What is going on?? " I turned to see that one of the twins was standing there and became very angry to see us.
He removed my hand from her arm and was glaring at me.
" I am sorry, I thought she was... " I was saying but he was too angry to listen to anything.
" No, she is not, what you thought, she was. She is Manyata, my wife.
Manyata Sahil Malhotra. So just stay away. " He placed his hand on my chest to push me.
Oh, God !! He looked as if he was ready to kill him.
But obviously... He would behave like that, anybody would have... after all she was his wife I would have punched anyone if he was holding Vidhi's hand.
" Relax Sahil, he thought that I was Vidhi. Shhh... Please calm down. Bhai sa will hear. Please. " Manu held his upper arm to pull him away from me.
" I am sorry... I came here to talk to Vidhi. I didn't mean to talk to your wife. " I said.
But he didn't seem to be convinced.
Just then Vidhi also came into the kitchen and was shocked to see all of there.
Manu asked me and her husband to leave the kitchen. I didn't want a scene there, so I came out and went to the living room.
Manu's husband also came after a minute and kept glaring at me.
I could see that he was as possessive as I was. I wanted to go home now. I did not want any tension in Sandhya's life.
But they did not let me go. I even said that I had to leave for jodhpur as an excuse. But they said that they won't let me go without having dinner. Vikram Ji asked if I could take Vidhi to Jodhpur with me??
I said yes a bit hesitantly as it was a long journey and I would have to be in closed confines of my car. I was a bit uncomfortable in the beginning but then I thought that it was the perfect chance to get her alone. I would be able to talk to her.
I didn't like the tension between us. And I was dying to talk to her now. I wanted to know, who was he to her.
She refused to go with me and I was disappointed but Vikram Ji scolded her and said that she would have to go with me. Vidhi nodded and left the room immediately.
I felt very bad. She didn't even want to be with me now.
I saw Sahil went away for some time and when he came back, he looked normal now, but I was still uncomfortable.
Sahil came near me and said that he was sorry as he overreacted. I smiled at him and said that I would have also reacted in the same way if I was in such a situation. I could understand him. He heard that and we both smiled.
The dinner was over and saw the chemistry between Sahil and Manyata. I could see how much he loved her. She was blushing beautifully when he was feeding sweets to him. It was such a beautiful sight.
I don't know why but imagined myself doing the same with Vidhi. She went away from there. I knew she was avoiding me.
I took my leave and came back home but kept thinking about her for the whole night.
I was waiting for the morning to come fast.
