Vidhi's POV
" So now that you know my feelings, are you going to avoid me now??"
" No, why are you saying that?? I won't be able to... " he smiled again.
He peppered light feather-like kisses all over my face. " I was dying to do this for months. " He said looking into my eyes making me blush.
" I need to talk to our families, I am scared of their reactions, especially your brother's. "
" Why especially Bhai?? "
" I had punched him when I saw some pictures with them hugging and kissing," he said.
" So ?? "
" My blood boiled and I punched him hard, now I am doing the same with his sister. He would have my head on a platter. "
" Ok, then I will tell him that I love you," I said.
" Hey !! I am not scared of him, I respect him. I am just scared of his reaction. But now that I know that you love me too, we will tell them together. " he said and I hugged him.
I was so happy to know that he loved me as much as I loved him.
Shubh's POV
The rain was still going on. We were drenched by now. Her Kurti was absolutely wet and she had started feeling cold. So we went to the car and slipped into it. I was getting a bit uncomfortable looking at her like that. Some unholy thoughts were coming in my mind and I wanted to take her in my arms and make her mine.
Oh, God !! what was happening to me?? I shook my head to get rid of that feeling.
I switched on the heater but she was still shivering. So I gave her a bag to her and asked her to change in the car itself.
She said she was ok. But I knew the route, there was no hotel on the way for at least 20 km. She was shivering. I went out of my car.
I was thinking of what happened just half an hour ago.
She said she loved me... Me?? Oh, God !!! I was on top of the world. My heart had stopped the moment she said that she loved someone and she realised it during the time I was preparing for the exams.
I could not take that... I was madly in love with her already. Then she finally said it was me.
She thought I hated her. Oh, God !!!!
But now everything was clear... We cleared all the misunderstandings. We loved each other and we're ready to accept each other as we were.
But the biggest problem was how to talk to our parents about it.
She knocked on the door and I came back to reality from my thoughts. I hopped in the car. She asked me to change my clothes too.
I took out a T-shirt and looked at her, she was looking at me.
" Don't you think you should not look at me?? " I asked and she laughed.
" Why?? "
" We are not even engaged... "
" Ok Mr Shekhawat, I will close my eyes. Don't worry your virtue is safe with me." She said dramatically and I could not help smiling.
I swear, I could not have said the same to her... But she was different and bold. I also changed.
After travelling for around 2 more hours, we reached midway and were very hungry so we stopped to have a meal.
We went there hand in hand. It was such a nice feeling. She said that she loved me too.
She sat across me and I kept looking at her beautiful face. I was feeling so good that she loved me too, but was still a bit apprehensive about us being so different.
We both could not settle on one thing. We liked a different kind of food. I liked spicy, traditional Indian food, whereas she preferred simple non-spicy fast food. Yes, one thing which both liked were sweets.
I ordered moong daal halwa as that was her favourite. Her face lit up to see that. She took a spoonful and took it near my mouth.
I was just pleasantly surprised. I want to do the same thing but was hesitant but she did this. I smiled at her and ate that and took another spoon and did the same.
" Shubh do you known how to cook? "
" I might burn the kitchen if I have to boil only the water. Can you cook? " I said.
" No... But if you want, I would learn it... My mom is really after me to learn it. "
" Do it, if you want to, not to impress me. I am already in love with you. "
She smiled at me and came to sit beside me. I liked it but was feeling a bit awkward. I rubbed the back of my neck. I was getting shy and a bit excited.
" Vidhi I think you should sit there across me... "
" Why?? "
" J...just like that... It looks a bit... "
" What's wrong in my sitting here beside you? "
" Nothing, but... "
" Don't you want me to sit near you??" It looked as if she was about to get annoyed.
" No... I like it... But what would people think?? "
" Are you ashamed of being seen with me?? "
" Oh, no... Not at all. "
" Then??? "
" It's just that we are not married..."
" Oh, God !! I am not kissing you in front of people. We are just sitting beside each other. You are too much." She kept sitting there and we finished our food and resumed the journey.
" So for how many days, you are in Jodhpur?? "
" 4-5 days. "
" So where will you meet me tomorrow?? " she asked.
" Vidhi, I don't think I would be able to meet you tomorrow, I have an important work here. "
" Ok... So day after?? " She asked again.
" Ok... But how?? What would you say to uncle and aunty?? "
" Don't worry... " she winked at me. And my heartbeat increased. I wanted to be with her but I was still hesitant to go on a date with her. How would her brother or dad react to that?? I would not have liked it if Sandhya had gone on a date.
We kept talking about our likes and dislikes and then our work, our future plans. She had planned to take up her dad's business too as Vikram Ji was a cardiologist and was never interested in it.
We reached her home. I don't know how we reached so soon??
It was time to say bye to her but I didn't want to. We kept sitting in my car. I caught her hand in mine.
" So bye, Vidhi. " I said and closed my eyes. She was as much as in love with me as I was. I should have used some endearment.
" You are seriously boring... Shubh. C'mon, you can do better than that." She said.
" Ummm bye... Er.. umm "
" What is err...Ummm ?? C'mon, Shubh is that how you would address me now? Oh, God!! I am your girlfriend now."
" Hey !! When did that happen?? " I said looking at her with surprise.
" When we confessed our feelings to each other, Shubh I mean, boyfriend "
" So??? How would I know?? I have never had a girlfriend. So, now that you are my girlfriend, now what?"
She was looking at me shyly.
" Don't do that..."
" What??? "
" Don't look at me so shyly... You don't know what happens to me. "
" Unh unh ??? Tell me what happens..."
" Let it be... "
" Why do you always say that?? I want to know..."
" Some other day. " I said and rubbed the back of my neck again.
" Shubh !! Ok fine... And when I am not shy ?? "
" Don't even ask me.... "
" Shubh !!! You never say what is in your mind. I don't like that, you don't share anything. "
" Vidhi, please try and understand..."
" Ok... I don't want you as my boyfriend. "
" What ?? This is not fair. "
" I have to find someone who tells me everything. "
" Do you want me to tell you?? "
" Hmmm "
" No... I should not. It's not proper. "
" I will go mad with your this line. What is not proper?? Tell me right now or I will go and meet that handsome and eligible lawyer. "
" Don't you even think about it... "
" Then tell me. "
" I am feeling a bit awkward in saying that. "
" Oh, God !!! I must say yes to that lawyer even without meeting him. "
" Vidhi !!! "
" Shubh !! "
" Ok, when You look shy, I want to devour you. " I said looking at her.
" What ?? Really ?? " She asked with a shy smile. I nodded.
" And ... ?? "
" And when you are bold, I want to ravish you... "
" Oh God !!! " she said and hid her face in her hands and turned it away from me.
" I told you not to ask me. Are you angry at me now?? "
" Hmmm. "
" Ok, I am sorry, I should not have said all that. "
" Right... "
" I am sorry ... it was not proper... Please forgive me.... "
" You should not have said it... You should have done it," she said and winked at me.
I was so shocked at what she said. But before I could react, she got out of my car and ran inside her home.
What ??? She would surely give me a heart attack soon. I took a few deep breaths to cool my heart who was ready to launch itself out of my chest.
Then I thought what she said, my face had seemed to turn a bit hot. I shook my head at her boldness. But I was smiling like anything.
