Maryam's POV
Immediately I came out from the restroom, I quickly made my way to the receptionist to ask about which ward Aunty was but stopped on my track when I saw Mom, Dad and Kareemah. Moving my gaze to the left, I saw the scene going on in front of me. There stood my husband hugging my sister.
Poor Kareem, he thought she was me.
"I'm so sorry for everything, I really am! I'm sorry for judging you without knowing the whole truth. I should have known that you're innocent, I'm such a fool for doubting you,I'm sorry please". He said.
She broke the hug and studied his face for a while. And I guess, she's schemeing something crazy in her head.
"You're sorry?". She asked raising her eyebrow.
"Yes Maryam, I'm truly sorry. I swear, I never knew. If I had, I wouldn't have reacted that way. She looks just exactly like you, Maryam I think you have a twin sister".
"Well, aren't you smart?". She sarcastically replied him before kicking him where the sun shine.
"Maryam". Mom called my name to stop her.
"Ouch!". Kareem yelp holding the place she had hit him.
She pretend to hit him as she ask again. "How does it feel? Do you want me to give you more? Does it pain? Do you feel the pain comparing to the one you had given my-". She was cut off from her word as I scream out her name gaining everyone's attention.
I glared at her angrily but what she uttered next made me sigh in defeat.
Kareem stod up and walk slowly towards me but from no where, Khalid came in between and engulf me tightly in a hug. "Erm....kh...Khalid, I can't breathe" I said smiling a bit.
"I'm so sorry I just....I just missed you so much" he replied smiling.
"Maryam". Mom called engulfing me in a tight hug. I really do miss her a lot.
"I missed you Maryam, I really do. Where have you been? We've been in search for you for the past three days but you're no where to be found, thank God you came back to us safely, I'm so sorry for what ever wrong Kareem might have done to you, this is all my fault, I shouldn't have asked you to marry him in the first place, I never knew you were going through a lot, not until Kareemah disclosed everything to us". I glanced over to Kareemah which she nod in response.
"Mom, you don't have to feel bad really, yeah I know Kareem had hurt me in so many ways but I love him and I won't stop loving him. Remember Mom, I told you I will definitely change him and I won't stop not until I achieve my goal".
"But-"
"Please mom allow me, I love your son so much already and I'm willing to cross any path just to make sure he comes back to the old Kareem you all used to know ". I said and mom hug me tightly again.
"I'm so fortunate to have you as my daughter in-law".
"And, I'm so bless to have you as my mother in-law"
We broke the hug and Kareemah hug me too. "I missed you so much bestie". She said wiping off her tears.
"And I missed you too"
"Dad" I called moving closer to him.
"Maryam, I'm glad you're back" he replied with a nod and a little smile.
I smiled,he always have this aura business look on his face.
"Don't I deserve a hug?" I asked pouting.
"Of course daughter, you do". He said as we hug each other. I'm so bless to have them around me, they all love me as their real daughter, they put their trust in me and I hope I won't break their trust any day or anytime soon.
"Kareem? Where's Kareem?". We heard mom asked.
"Where has he went to all of a sudden?" I thought.
"Well, he left as this handsome here hug my sister". Muneerah said.
"Huh? But why would he leave just like that? His wife was here and he left just like that?" Mom asked getting a little pissed.
"Guess, he was jealous that he didn't get the first hug but instead, this handsome standing here got it first before him". She said smiling sweetly at Khalid. I shook my head at her craziness, this girl is totally different from me.
"And I'm Muneerah by name, twin of this beautiful sister here Maryam. Sorry, you all had to see that but guess your son do really deserve it....but......but after seeing the love and care you all have for my sister, I'm deeply sorry for my actions".
"You don't have to dear, after all he really do deserve it like you've said. I mean, which man in his right state of mind treat his wife that way?" Mom asked smiling sweetly at her.
"But Mom- " I wanted to protest when I heard my father's voice.
"Maryam? " I turned and saw his happy face.
"Daddy!". I squealed running into his open arms. "I missed you so much daddy"
"I missed you too, baby girl".
" Maryam, who is this and why do you two-".
"Good morning uncle, I'm Muneerah by name, Maryam twin sister and your neice".
"What?! Muneerah? What's happening Maryam? You had a twin all along and we are not aware of?".
"Daddy, calm down. I also never knew I had a twin, not until we met few days ago and I discovered that she was my sister. That was the reason why we had to come here together. To find an answer to our questions".
"What?! But...but-"
"Thank you so much for been there for my sister, she told me how you cared so much for her"
"No my dear, I'm sorry for not been there for you. Believe me, if I had knew that she had a twin, I would brought up along and raise you up like mine with so much love". Dad said making my sister to cry all of a sudden, she took dad off guard by hugging him tightly.
After breaking the hug, she asked him "Where is that woman who has been frustrating my sister's life?". She asked and that got everyone tensed up. Can't she control her mouth for a minute?
"Muneerah". I warned.
"What?! I wasn't lying, after all she's no different from that husband of yours" she said shrugging off her shoulder.
"But-"
"Enough girls! this is not the time to argue and you Muneerah, always caution on how you talk about your elders, she raised your sister up....be respectful. Understood?". Daddy said in a sternly tone.
"Ye....yes" she said stuttering.
Wow! I never knew Dad could shut sister up with just a few sentences. I smirk mentally as I saw her tensed face. Daddy can be capable sometimes and guess that has worked on her right now. But was I the one seeing things or what, looking at my sister's face and Dad, they somehow look alike, same nose, same lip and dark eye ball. No...no.... no.... Of course, they'll look alike after all, daddy was also a member of the family.
"Erm Maryam, since you're here now, we'll all leave you to have some time with your family. And Mr Jawad, we truly wish your wife a quickly recovery".
" Ameen, thank you".
"Yes Mom"
"And yes, bring this feisty lady along when coming back home, we really need to catch up"
"Sure ma'am, I would definitely come. I'll be please to get to know you better" Muneerah beat me to it before I could reply her.
"Dad, can I stay with her for some time,I'll catch up with you and Mom at home". Kareemah told her parents.
"Of course princess do take your time,but Khalid, make sure you drive her home safely"
"Sure Dad. I'll"
"Bye Mr Jawad, we'll check on you may be tomorrow". Dad said.
"Thank you Mr Abdulazeez". Daddy said while they bid their good bye as Khalid and Kareemah stayed with us.

"Subhanallah Dad! Then, what are we waiting for? Let get started, let do it now"
"Maryam, are you sure about this? You just came back and about the past, I mean, with all of what Nana-"
"Dad, I'm sorry I didn't mean to be rude but she's still like a mother to me and I can't afford anything bad happen to her"
"Here comes the saviour, always pitying the bad people". Muneerah mutters under her breathe but I could hear her since we were so close to each other. I glared at her which she only shrug her shoulder and smiled sweetly at me.
Pretender!
"Maryam, Muneerah, we'll all discussed about this issue once everything has been settled.
"Yes daddy"
"Yes sir"
We both answered.
****five hours later****
I was weak after the blood donation process but now, I feel better.
"Doctor, how's my wife doing? Is she alright?".
"Yes Mr Jawad, she's definitely stable for now but need a lot of rest...And this lady, how is she related to you?". She asked pointing her index finger at me.
"This is Maryam and Muneerah her twin, they are my niece".
"What?! Erm...okay, could you follow me to my office now? It's very important".
"Do you mean, everyone or I alone".
"No, just you".
"Okay, Children... I'll be right back". He said and left with the doctor to her office. I looked at Kareemah, Khalid and then lastly my sister which she only shrug her shoulder and smirk a little bit. I shook my head as I know the outcome of that stupid smirk won't be anything good, whatever she's thinking will never turn out good.

Dad came out from the doctor's office with his face all looking pale. "Daddy, what's wrong? Why is your face like this? I thought the doctor said aunty is fine? What did she say? Wait! Am I perhaps not okay?". I bombarded him with so many questions. I don't know why, but I'm so scared at this moment. I know the doctor had said, a test must be carried out before I could donate blood for aunty but what had happened?
"No..no princess, you are perfectly okay". He said as a tear of water drop from his eyes. What's happened to him? I've never seen this side of him before.
"Erm Sir, Maryam, Mufeedah". we would be on our way now". Kareemah said
"But-"
"Don't worry bestie, we'll check up on you first thing tomorrow morning...right Khalid?"
"Huh? Yeah...yeah, we'll".
"Okay bye...good night". They said as they both leave.
I know they both wants to give us some privacy.
"Can I get a hug from you two?". I take a look at Muneerah as she also give me the look of 'I think, he really need it'
We both walk up to him and he hug us tightly "I love you both so much".
Huh? Daddy loves us,I mean of course he does but why was he saying it again?
I look up at him and his face held so many emotions. What's really wrong with him?
"What's wrong daddy?".
"Nothing princess, I'm just so happy to see you both but please, you two should know that I had loved you and and will always do".
"Yes". We both answered quizzically even though, we have no hint of what he was talking about.
"You two should go home and rest, especially you Maryam"
"But-"
"No more question young lady, now go. You can visit your mother tomorrow morning".
"You mean your wife, our aunty? " Maimuna asked smiling.
Silly girl!
"Ye...yes...yes, your aunty...you two don't worry, once she's regain consciousness, we'll all discuss on some particular things".
"Okay daddy...good night".
"Can I get a hug from my two princess?"
"Sure" we both said as we hug him.
