Maryam's POV
"This is it! This is the cloth! MARYAM!! How could you do this to me! How could you?! Was this not the same dress you had wore this evening? Then, immediately you arrived home you pull it off and placed it neatly here, right?".
"Ka...kareem that dress....that dress-"
"Yes the dress....." He inquires.
"The dress...the dress..was...was....". I keep stuttering. I couldn't even find the right word to say.
"Talk to me woman, or else, you won't like the other side of me!". He fummed.
"It was.....it was....was ...he....it was...."
What's wrong with me? Why can't I talk?
"TALK TO ME MARYAM!!!!" He roared and I jolt up in fear.
"Kareem, please forgive me....I.....I....it was....I didn't...I..."
"Good! Finally, you admit to your crimes! Why do you want to ruin me and my family?"
What is he saying? Ruin his family?
"I know everything Maryam, I had seen you at the mall with that guy. You two were both conspiring against me. You told him you'll take everything away from me. You told him you'll make sure I sign those papers. Why? Just why are you doing this? Was my families love not enough for you? Well, my dear wife Maryam, I'll make sure I destroyed your life completely before you got the chance to. You'll regret ever knowing me. I'll teach you a lesson you'll never forget in your life!". He said in a scary manner tone before walking out of my room.
What has gotten into him? Would he try to assault me sexually again? No! I won't let that happen! I won't let him take advantage of me again! I don't even know what he was talking about, I had no idea.
Without thinking twice, I picked up my phone from my bed and ran out of the house. Thank God Nanny is on her leave and the gateman was already asleep.
I tried calling Khalid's number because at this moment, he's the only one who could help me. I can't go to daddy's house if not, aunty will definitely frustrate my life to death. I tried calling Khalid's number but he's not picking up, and it's dark already. It's almost 10:00pm, everywhere is so silent and I'm scared to death. I tried his number once again to try my luck. "Please, pick the call! Pick up Khalid, please....." I muttered silently to myself crying.
"Hey beautiful". He said immediately he picked up.
"Khalid, please save me". I told him in my shaking voice.
"Please, save me Khalid I...I don't know what Kareem is up to... Please save me I-". I was cut off by my words as I felt someone grasp my phone from my back.
With my tottering body, I turned slowly. Then, I saw some two giants guys towering over me, gazing at my body lustfully.
"Arrrgh!!!!". I yelp looking at their scary face. I decide to run but was blocked by another one.
What's going on with my life all of a sudden? I was so happy this morning, then why now?
"Wh...Wha...What do you want?". I asked them in my shaky voice.
"She wants to know what we want from her". The muscular guy among them who had taken my phone away from me said laughing while, the rest joined too.
"Please let me go, I don't have any money to give you". I begged.
"Who says we want money from you? We only want to have some fun...". He mockingly said.
"Why don't we take her home?". One of them suggest.
"No no no.....I think, we can do that right here. After all, no one is here". The muscular guy replied smirking.

"Don....don't dare to touch me! My hus....husband won't spare you all". I threatened. I wish, I could be strong enough but, my voice came out weak and scared.
"Let see what your husband can do...shall we?".
He pushed me and I hit my butt roughly on the floor, which made me cried out in pain.
"Please somebody help me!!!"
"Shut up!". He licked my cheek hungrily. I was now under him and I feel so disgusted of myself already.
They don't have the right to touch me. Only Kareem has the right to. How dare them touch me!
"Take you filthy hands off me!" I hit his chest with all the strength in me but all to avail as he order the other guys to hold my hands tightly. One was assigned to hold my right hand while the other one to my left.
He pull off my hijab as he kissed my neck roughly.
Ya Allah! he smells horrible. "You taste so sweet baby girl, I wonder how down here would feel". He said trying to kiss me on my lip but I never gave him the chance to. I was becoming weak and I started shouting again. "Please help! Help me!! Help me please! Someone should please help me!". I said crying.
All of a sudden, he was pull off me. I saw some men in their black suit as they beat him while the rest run off. They took a step closer to me while I moved my butt backward.
"Stop! Don't come closer!".
"Ma'am, we're here to help you and not to hurt you. We were only following orders from our boss. Please, let's help you". One of them said in his calmer voice.
I immediately pick my hijab from the floor and put it on. One of them, put on his phone light and they screamed all of a sudden.
"Arrrgh!!!". They both scream in unison.
"What's wrong with them?" I thought as I use my right hand to wipe off my tears.
Do I look like a zombie?
"I swear na Madam ooo! Madam! Madam na you ooo! Na Madam ooo Johnson". The other guy said to the giant guy.
Madam?! Who are they referring to as madam? What's wrong with them?
"Johnson?! Suleiman? What's happening there? I had asked you two to save the lady?". A voice of a Lady asked from a far.
"Madam, come ooo! Madam na you ooo....na you we go save ooo". He told her while he screamed.
"What do you mean, you saved me?". She asked as she walk closer to us. Even though it's dark, I could see her face clearly from where I was sitting on the floor.
The men have not been lying, she truly does look like me.
I stood on my feet to take a closer look at her, then, I saw the similarity, same face, same nose, same lip. In fact, her voice is also somehow similar with mine. She was also putting on the cloth Khalid had bought for me the other day.
"Me?!"
"Me?!". We both chorused at the same time.
"Who are you?". I asked but my eyes became blurry all of a sudden.
"Hey!"
That was the last thing I heard before darkness took over me.
