Maryam's POV
"I'm sorry Ma,I didn't mean to do that! It's a mistake walahi" I said to her
"Mistake? Did you just say mistake witch?" She ask before slapping me
"Walahi I didn't mean for this to happen, please Ma forgive me"
"Stupid girl stop showing me that foolish look of yours,I won't ever fall into your trap" she said beating me with both of her hands
"Please Ma I'm sorry " I beg crying
"Stupid girl! Why don't you just die! Please die and leave me and my husband alone in peace, I'm tired of seeing your face! I hate you so much, go away from here witch"
"Nana! What are you doing again?!" Ask an angry voice of Dad
He pushed her away from me and picked me up "Maryam are you hurt?! What happened?"
"Jawad what do you think you're doing? Don't tell me you cared for her more than me?" She ask glaring
"Nana everything has limit,you are starting to cross your limit Nana " Dad warned
"I'm crossing my limit?! Did you just say I'm crossing my limit?! No! No I'm not! She's! This witch is crossing her limit! She's really crossing her limit Jawad! I can't stand her in this house! I can't bear one second with her! Anytime I see her I always remember the past! I can never like her! I can never feel for her Jawad" she said shouting pointing out her index finger at me
"Nana-" Dad said softly
"Please Jawad listen to me for once! have you forgotten what her parent did to us?! Have you forgotten?! If you have, I can never forget, because of them I didn't get to...I didn't get to see...." She didn't finish her statement when she said again
"You know what just forget about it,you can never understand me! You don't know how I feel! You don't know how a mother feels when her daughter is been taken away from her"
"So I can never like any other child except mine,I want my daughter back Jawad! Please go bring my daughter back for me! If you don't bring back my daughter for me I won't ever stop torturing her! I won't stop, when most especially I know that her father is involve in this too" she said walking away into her room
"Daddy! What's going on? What is she saying? What did my Daddy do to her? Why is she so mad at my Daddy?"
"Dad, I know my Daddy is a good person! I promise you that! If your wife thinks that my Daddy did something bad to her then she's mistaken,walahi my Daddy is a good person he isn't a bad person I swear!" I swear defending my Daddy
"Maryam I'm sorry to say this, but there are so many things that have happened so far and you weren't aware of it! This is not the right time to tell you things,when the time comes I'll tell you everything then you can understand the situation"
"The only thing I could tell you now is that all what my wife has been doing isn't her fault,I know what she's doing is bad but she have her reason for doing all this, she's still unto the past that's why"

"Maryam please can you try to make her happy? Make her forget the past? I know it's not easy due to the way she always treat you but please can you endure everything for the main time? It just for a little of time she will come back to her senses very soon"
"So can you try to make her happy? Can you change her for me please?"
"But I don't think I'll be able to do that! She hates me so much,she can't even stand me for a minute Daddy"
"I know Maryam and that's why I'm begging you to do this,once you try to get closer to her you will know that she have a soft spot hidden in her,I know my wife, she use to be a very friendly and caring person,she loves kids but everything changed once a bad incident occurred and your Dad was involve too that's why she's so angry with you"
"But what happened?"
"I can't tell you that for now,but you have to promise me to help her forget about the past......Please Maryam can you do that for me?"
I sigh before saying "OK Daddy I'll try my best! From now on like you've said no matter what happened I'll never get angry at her coz you told me my Dad make her sad,so I'm going to correct my Dad's mistake, I promise you that Daddy"
"Thank you so much Maryam,can you go put on your cloth? You'll be late,it already Two O'clock"
"OK Daddy" I said running into my room
