"As salamu alaikum.....Good morning Mr Jawad,Mrs Jawad" Mrs Abdulazeez said immediately entering the room
"Wa alaikumu Salam....Good morning to you two" Dad replied smiling
"Welcome to our home...please take a sit"Said Aunty
"Thank you"
"Oh my God,her husband is so handsome. Handsome is even an understatement, I thought she's beautiful but not only but also her husband,no wonder. Now I know where Kareem got his handsomeness from, but he's so rude,I can't even tolerate him for a minute at first. Thinking about him, he made me remember our conversation last week ago

"Hello?"
"Hello please am I speaking with Maryam?"
"Erm.....yes you're.. Please who are you?"
"I'm Mrs Abdulazeez's Son 'Kareem' "
"Kareem?"
"Yes....can we talk? Actually I'm outside your house presently"
"O....Okay" I said hanging up
I put on my hijab and walk out, thank God aunty is not around if not, I don't know what would have happened next
"As salamu alaikum" I said standing in front of him
"Maryam right?" He said not bothering to reply my greetings
"I said, As salamu Alaikum " I repeat wanting him to reply me
"What ever, look young lady I'm here because of what my mom told me about me marrying you, and as I can see you're also not a kid anymore you can decide on your own,I'll advice you to please and please don't think of us getting married to each other
I don't like you which probably you don't too,so please convince my mom and tell her you're not interested in what she's asking you to do. I have someone that I love, and I'll never and ever betray her.....am I clear" he finished and I was just looking at him like a robot. He seems like someone casting a news to me
"At first I wanted to tell Mrs Abdulazeez that I won't be able to do what she was asking me to. But right this moment, seeing the state he's I'm going to help her,I'll make sure to make him change his way" I thought
"I'll be glad if you can do that for me" he said leaving making me speechless
I bring out my phone and dial his mothers number
"Hello dear....how are you doing"
she seems happy
"I'm fine Ma, good morning"

"So? Did you agree already?" She asked all of a sudden
"Erm I'm sorry may be I'm too forward, was just eager to hear your positive reply"
"No it's OK Ma,I....I'll marry your son.....but you have to come talk to my uncle"
"No problem my dear,will definitely do that....thank you so much,you've made me the happiest person in the whole world Maryam.... You don't know how happy I'm to hear this from you"
"You're welcome Ma,I...I have to hangup now"
"Ok dear bye....will start the arrangement right away" she announced happily
"Hey what are you standing there zoning out for? Go bring drink for the visitor" Aunty said angrily eyeing me
"Nana" Dad warned and she keep her mouth shut
Ten Minute later
"Mr Jawad thank you so much for supporting Maryam on her decision, I promise you, you won't regret it"
"I hope so too Mrs Abdulazeez, though Maryam is not my daughter, but I love her so much"
They talk so much about the preparation of the wedding, and everyone was so happy except Aunty. Thank God I'm leaving the house for good at least I'll have a peace of mind,I'll be free from all her torture

"Maryam how many countless time have I told you to stop calling me Ma,you should call me Mom"

"Good.....so why the visit? Do you wants to stay with me before the wedding " she teased
"Mom!" I half yell before smiling. It felt good calling her Mom, I feel as if I'm calling my own mother
"What? OK fine I was just teasing you"
"Mom I was sent message by the hospital I took you to the other day, I went there and the doctor told me you need a check up, so that's why I'm here"
"Oh my God! What a good girl you are but Maryam,I need to go to my company they need my attention there,how about this? Why don't we make it tomorrow"
"No Mom,we're going today" I stubbornly said
"But-"
"No any but Mom...So shall we?" She smiled before nodding her head in agreement
"Mom" a very beautiful called entering the living room
"Mom are we going now?" She asked
"Good morning " I said to her smiling. She looked at me from head to toe before facing her Mom back "Mom we're getting late,please shall we leave now?"
"Kareemah she just greeted you"
"I know and I heard her clearly but I'm not in the mood to answer her. Was she not the girl you wanted to force on Kareem?" She ask sounding irritating
"Kareemah" her Mom warned
"What?.....Whatever, all what I know is that she won't marry my twin brother,what Kareem don't like I don't too...though I don't like Safeenah but nevertheless do I like her too. Bye" she said walking out
"Wow! So rude" I thought
"Maryam I'm so sorry for her rudeness, you see, it was said that when a lady is on her period they act crazy sometimes, that's what she's going through right now"
No problem Mom,it's fine... Nothing I can't deal with" I assured smiling

We've done the wedding and today I'm called Mrs Kareem. I've been receiving cold shoulder from both the twins,which is my husband and his twin sister. My aunty never bothered to pray for me except my Daddy,he was always there with me
I'm sitting on the bed waiting for my husband to come in,I know he's going to be mad coz he asked me to convince his mom which I never did
He entered and smirk at me "Wow! Look at my wife,wife? Yes wife....we are now married right?" He kept ranting to him self
He move closer to me and said "since I'm your husband wifey you need to perform your duty as the wife.... So are you ready?" He asked and I nod shyly
Good he said before moving closer to me. That night I gave him my pride
