Nate's POV
I watched as Tory walked with a confident manner and I had the feeling she'd done something like this before, even if Isabella always tried and failed to describe Tory in a way that made her seem like she was anything short of a total badass, I could tell that Tory indeed was firecracker. Still, whenever I looked at the girl she always looked too sad, bored or tired for a fight or exchange of words with anyone.
So what happened that's made her come out of her shell? Why is she suddenly so hot and sexy now that I think about it? Where did that boldness come from when she tried to pour my juice on me? Just what is it with this girl that makes me so intrigued?
" Miss Wright, Are you okay? What happened?" Mrs. Johnson said, rushing to the hall. She was the only one asides from me that had come from London and had a British accent and I guess that's also one of the reasons she doesn't bug me that much - I don't know.
" No, I'm not! This scumbag of a girl poured drinks on me!" Penny shrieked. Her father was a lawyer, one of the best in New York, that was one of the reasons no one messed with her, they didn't want any legal actions being taken against them. This was why I had a very good feeling that Tory is in deep shit and guess how that made me feel? - fucking excited!
" Miss Williams! Is that true?" Miss Johnson asked, pushing her glasses up so she could peer at Tory.
Tory tugged on her skirt, making my eyes fall on those amazing long and sexy legs. Did she really need to have it all?
" No, Mrs. Johnson, I would never do that!" Tory said with the most innocent look I had ever seen on anyone's face. Even my baby cousin's innocent facial expressions were nothing compared to Tory's facials right now! What an actress!
" Then how did this happen?" Mrs. Johnson asked while Penny folded her arms and held her face high, obviously not expecting Tory to have an explanation that would prove her accusations false.
Everyone glanced at Tory, waiting to hear what she would say. She nodded her head and at that moment I said to myself - if she gets away with this, I'm gonna eat the carrots on my plate, that's how certain I am that she's screwed.
" Ma'am you see what happened was, I saw Penny and thought I should give her a drink, being that I wanted to be friends with her but I didn't realize that the drink had shaken while I was running to give her the drink so when she opened it to have a sip, it poured all over her... I'm sorry Penny" she said with the most apologetic look on her face as she looked down at the floor and held on to her skirt causing me to drool at how sexy those legs were but I quickly snapped out of it as I heard Penny gasp in surprise, her hair still dripping wet from the drink.
" Miss Wright, you shouldn't blame her for your mistake"
" The heck! You don't really believe that? How could the drink have poured on my head?!" Penny hissed.
" You should never have let Maureen hold it above you like that when she helped you open it... it's not my fault"
Everyone was stunned, if we hadn't witnessed the whole thing one would have thought Tory was telling the gospel truth! Talk about a manipulative bitch! I said to myself as I scoffed.
" She's lying! There's a video to prove this. They were all recording it. Right guys?" Penny asked everyone and when no one said a word, Mrs. Johnson turned to me. Ugh! So now because we're both British you wanna use that on me Mrs. Johnson?
" Nate, is Penny telling the truth?" She asked. As much as I would love for Tory to get in trouble, I don't want Penny to come of this triumphantly.
" I didn't see anything Mrs. J, I was eating chicken," I said simply and as soon as the words were out, literally everyone started agreeing that they didn't see anything.
" Yeah, Mrs. Johnson. Penny's just making everything up, such a liar" Zach said so vehemently that I stifled a laugh, what an idiot... Poor Penny, the whole school hates her so much that their willing to gang up against her - something they didn't dare before. This girl Tory sure knows how to change the game...
" Gimme that phone!" Penny said to one of the guys who she'd seen recording the whole thing but I got a notification on my phone, it was on the school's group chat for junior year and it read - " everyone delete your videos ASAP" from my man Zach, I let out a laugh and my guys started laughing, especially Rex. God, he hates her...
" Where is it?" Penny yelled at the boy, he was one of those nerds in my AP classes and he just shrugged causing everyone to burst into uncontrollable laughter.
" Mrs. Johnson there was a video I swear! You bitch!" She yelled at Tory, her eyes seething with rage.
" That's enough now, please go get yourself cleaned up!" Mrs. Johnson warned before she left.
" I'm not done with you just yet," Penny said as she tried to hit Tory.
" Touch me and I'll....." The rest of what she said, I didn't hear because she whispered them in Penny's ear and Penny's body stiffened and just when I thought she was probably gonna hit Tory and I was about to stand up, Penny backed down and walked away, her eyes filled with fear.
The majority of students started clapping as Penny left and Tory just pulled Rachel to her and they walked away.
My eyes lingering on her body until she was out of sight.
" Such a shame I despise her, I wouldn't mind banging her" I mused and Zach heard it and laughed, he probably thought I was talking about Penny.
I relaxed more on my chair realizing that I was still in my " almost standing" position and I wondered why I even almost got up in the first place.
Something about this girl leaves me confused - VERY CONFUSED.
