Tory's POV
My eyes widened as I saw Nate's gaze on me. Why on Earth is he looking at me? I'm not his girlfriend! This punk has a habit of involving innocent people in his squabbles. I've seen him do it to Jada Young - one of his admirers before and that was two months ago.
The school hosted an end of the year beach party and one of Nate's side chicks or was it Jada that was the side chick, I don't even remember, the other girl spotted Nate and confronted him about a rumor that he was dating a girl from another high school entirely and instead of Nate to deny or confirm the allegation, he just pointed at Jada Young and said she was his girlfriend.
The next thing I knew, both girls got into a heated argument that rapidly lead to physical fights. Nate just walked away with some chick that he probably slept with in the restroom. Piece of shit.
I won't be letting him do that to me! I'm nobody's fool.
I looked away, silently daring him to say it's me so that I would slap that smirk off his face but when Penny gasped and asked " You're dating her?" He just chuckled and said " Nah, my babe is gonna be here soon," he said and just then, we heard footsteps.
I turned around to see Toni and Tia walking with their tray of food in their hands and wondered if Nate had an imaginary girlfriend that was gonna "be here soon".
My jaws dropped when Tia sat elsewhere and Toni sat beside Nate and they both smiled at each other before they kissed!
Nate's friends cheered him on and as I watched him wrap his arms around my sister, eating her mouth rather than kissing it, I felt nauseous. Who kisses like that?
More importantly, what the hell is going on here? So Tia and Toni have been hiding the fact that Nate is dating her and for how long have they been hiding it?
I boiled in anger as she fed him his food. Has Toni gone loco?
" Tory, did you know about this?" Rachel asked as my eyes widened in shock. I raised my index finger in front of her face, signaling her that I don't want to talk because if I open my mouth, curses are gonna start flying directed towards my sister and that scumbag called Nate.
I counted from one to ten and when I thought my anger had subsided, I turned to Rachel and said " Ladies room, now!" Before I got up and left for the lady's room.
" Tory, calm down" Rachel said immediately she entered the ladies room, I was busy checking if the stalls were empty, thankfully they were.
" Calm down? Nate was kissing my sister! Touching her like he touches those slutty girls that he regularly hooks up with. How am I supposed to-"
" - I left my purse on the sink," a girl wearing a thick pair of glasses said as she barged into the ladies room, grabbed her purse, and left.
" How am I supposed to calm -"
" - I think I also left my tampons somewhere," the same girl said again as she entered one of the stalls and came out just as fast as she entered.
" Something must be wrong with Toni if she thinks that Nate -"
" - I need to pee," the girl said again as she started to raise her skirt so she can quickly urinate.
"What the hell have you been doing in there all day? Can't you see that I'm trying to vent out my anger?!"
" I see that... but I gotta pee," she said shrugging as she ran into the stall and she peed for what seemed like an eternity before she came out, a satisfied look on her face and slowly walked to the sink to wash her hand before she left.
" You were saying?"
" I'm not in the mood anymore. Let's just get back to the dining hall already." I said with a deep sigh as I flung the door open and heard a loud thud. The girl with the glasses had been intentionally interrupting me and had been eavesdropping!
" Why you little...!" I snarled and she took to her heels.
" Talk about a stubborn nerdy kid" Rachel said as she came out from the toilet and watched as the girl ran.
" That's no nerd, she's just unfortunate that she turned out needing those glasses. She's a pest!" I said as we went to the dining hall. I'll do my very best to ignore Nate and Toni, I told myself as we reached the dining hall.
Penny was still standing there blabbing and as usual, Toni ignored her and everyone knows that Penny hates being ignored. As I went to sit down, Penny suddenly faced me.
" Just look at your supposed girlfriend's sister. Today must've been a good day for her not to look like she came out of a dumpster as usual. No matter what she tries to do, she's still a troll" Penny said with an eye roll and her two minions behind her laughed.
What a bitch! She knew that if she insulted me, Toni would finally give her some attention! She's getting me involved in a matter that I wanted to stay away from and worst of all, she just insulted me like I'm a nobody. And that was a huge mistake she just made.
Apparently, the whole school is oblivious of what happens when someone pisses me off and they're about to find out in a few minutes.
