Tory's POV
" Oh, you should really consider taking that back" Toni said, getting up as she folded her arms.
" Else what?"
" Oh please, don't try to bluff. Step away from my sister" Tia hissed but that only caused Penny to laugh and shake her head.
By this time, people were already recording the incident. Why wouldn't they, three of the school's most popular and pretty girls are about to exchange a long trail of words?
" Yeah, right. Did you really picture it like that? That you'd tell me to leave and then I would just go?" She said, smirking. While Nate simply ate his chicken and drank his juice - that punk, he didn't even need to try and yet the girls are fighting over him or me, rather. I bet he's happy for the distraction.
I sighed as I willed myself to just ignore Penny but she continued taunting my sisters.
" You should stop Penny. We're warning you!" Tia said and Rachel also got up and they all started talking at once so much that I almost yelled at them to shut it, Penny beat me to it.
" Sure.. your mute of a sister, along with her assistant mute of a friend is going to mute me to death "she said, rolling her eyes as she placed her hand on her hip.
" Why don't you let her speak for herself. Hey mute, got the balls to challenge me?" She said with a smirk as she saw my glare.
My sisters turned to look at me but I didn't say a word. I was having a moment, thinking about how Toni was right when she said that since dad's death, my quiet personality has caused a lot of people to look down on me. Today was a clear testament to that fact, if this happened back in my middle school in Florida no one would dare to speak to me that way! This is a highly annoying situation because the way I will be treated from now on depends on what I do now.
" I didn't think so" Penny scoffed, certain that I would not challenge her and just as she turned her glare away from me to face Toni, my head snapped towards her.
" Think again," I said coldly as I walked towards her, Penny, liking a good showdown stood arms akimbo as her red lips curled into a smirk.
" Oh, she's spoken!" She said in an overly elated tone as Nate kept on digging in his almost finished meal, acting as if he's not aware that all this is his fault!
I shook my head and said dryly," I'm not gonna exchange words with you, it'll be a waste of time"
" No, you're not gonna exchange words with me because you're a coward." She said as she folded her arms and her two minions - Maureen and Lola laughed.
" Nah, if I exchange words with you, that'll just be you and I going on and on about how we both think of the other as a troll." I said, moving closer to her. Her smile started to fade and she moved back a little.
" So what the hell are you trying to say?" She asked, her face seething with irritation as she cocked a brow at me. Maureen and Lola replicated her hand folding position and glared at me.
" Chill.." I said as I closed the gap between us and as I looked at Toni, her eyes glimmering with expectation. She knows what I am capable of, she knows that I was going to stand up to Penny and in the long run, any one who stands in my way.
I looked at Penny and her glare was still intense, I chuckled and said, " I'm just saying that I don't do all that bickering you enjoy - Talk is cheap..." She scoffed, "... But, I do feel a little upset that you called me a troll" I added with an exaggerated pout.
" Oh you should, because the truth hurts" she said and stood arms akimbo as her lips curled into a smirk.
" Oh Penny, all you like to do is talk, I prefer to get even!" I said before I grabbed the can drink in Rachel's hand and emptied the contents all over Penny's body while she shrieked in horror. A lot of people burst out laughing as her eyepopped out and her mouth formed a wide " O " and I wasn't surprised, seventy percent of students hate her.
" That was for saying I look like... I don't even know what you said" I said with a shrug and took the rest of Nate's juice. He just turned his chair around and folded his arms as he sprawled on his chair, I was so tempted to empty it on him, and for a split second I stared at him while he gave me a daring look. Yep, in as much as I want to embarrass him, I don't have it in me yet. One day I will.
I began to tilt the juice as if I was going to pour it on Nate and then made a quick movement of my arms and instead poured it on Penny who was just getting herself cleaned by her two minions. She gasped as It stained her entire uniform. Idiot, what did she expect when she stood so close to me?
" And that was for calling me a troll," I said as I started to walk away with a hint of swagger in my steps.
