Tory's POV
The sound of Toni knocking on my door got me wide awake. I groaned as she continued knocking and got up from my bed, taking my time in opening the door.
" Tory we need to talk!" She said as she charged into my room still dressed in her pajamas.
" Duh" I said indifferently as I went back to lay on my bed.
" Why did you tell mom I'm dating Nate?" She asked, folding her arms while I struggled to keep my eyes open.
" I was in bad mood and she asked me why, so I told her. No big deal" I managed to say but it seemed that wasn't the right answer or it wasn't what she was expecting to hear from me.
" So you're mad because I'm dating Nate?" She asked, her eyes filled with irritation.
" Oh, what did you expect? that I'd be glad you're dating a guy that I hate?" I said, unable to keep my anger from being too obvious.
" Who I date is none of your business Tory" she said angrily.
" Whatever, get out of my room if all you've come to do is get me in a fucking bad mood" I retorted as I threw the sheets over my head to continue sleeping.
" You're gonna have to watch that mouth of yours, I'm older than you which means you have to show some respect!" She said as she advanced towards me, pointing her index finger at me.
" I would've respected you if you acted like a sensible older sister, but you don't" I said, removing the sheets from my body and glaring at her.
" Excuse me?"
" How could you date a guy like that? Have you forgotten how often he made fun of me and deliberately sabotaged all my science fair projects or anything at all that I do?! How could you be so dumb to date a guy who's just gonna use you to handle the task of getting rid of Penny!" I yelled at her and she folded her arms and swallowed hard before she rolled her eyes and sighed.
" I need something from him" she managed to say after a while.
" What?" I asked, genuinely concerned about what she could possibly want from an asshole like Nate. I mean, what could that jerk be useful for?!
" I know he just wants me to help him out with getting rid of Penny, even though he didn't say it. But dating Nate comes with a lot of other good things. No one will mess with you or me, you saw that yesterday." She explained and I blinked several times as I tried to comprehend the bullshit she just spewed at me for an explanation.
" You're kidding me right?" I asked in awe and she scoffed
" Don't you know that Nate told everyone to delete the video that could've got you in trouble?" She asked.
" It was Zach" I replied and she rolled her eyes as she said, " Does that idiot ever do anything without Nate telling him to?"
" I don't care, Toni, if you don't break up with Nate then forget about talking to me" I said hurriedly, because I didn't want her to lure me into thinking that Nate was actually helping me out there.
" You're joking, if you hate Nate that much then just how do you intend on getting Rex to date you? You know they're inseparable. This is probably the easiest for you to get your guy!" She pointed out but it still wasn't going to change my mind.
" I'll handle it my way, a much sensible way" I replied and she muttered something incomprehensible before she became quiet.
" Fine, then I guess we won't be talking " she eventually said as she turned around to leave my room.
" Sure, Nate never lasts more than a month with a girl anyway" I added with a smirk making her glare at me before she left my room. Few minutes after, my mom entered the room.
" What was that about?" She asked as she sat on my bed.
" Her dumb boyfriend Nate. I handled it" I said indifferently even if I was boiling in anger.
" Uh-hun, sure you did. Anyway, I know you guys are gonna makeup. You always do," she said in a manner that made me wonder if she was being sarcastic.
" Are you traveling today?" I asked, seeing that she was carrying big luggage.
" Oh yeah, going to France. I need to make sure everything is perfect before my new line of clothes is launched."
" Okay, I gotta go to school"
" I got you something, for your birthday."
" Oh..."
" Since you're no longer " not celebrating your birthday and all that"
" What'd you get me?"
" How about you open your closet you deep sleeper" she said with a grin, my eyes widened as I opened my closet and saw an entire change of wardrobe. Ranging from casual wear to dinner gowns, formal clothes and party dresses!
How could I have thought mom wouldn't throw out my old clothes!! What's worse, she probably threw out dad's clothes too!
" Calm down Tory, I didn't throw out your clothes okay honey. Nor did I throw out your dad's"
" Oh my God, thank you" I said as I heaved a sigh of relief, biting my lips and wondering how I would tell her that I think the clothes are a bit too much, wasn't changing my uniform to something more sexy, good enough?
" So, do you like it?" She said, her face seething with excitement and I sighed, knowing that if I said I didn't, she'd be unhappy.
" Of course mom, I love it!" I said and she pulled me in for a hug.
" Have you had your bath?" She asked pulling me away briefly to look at me.
" I'm still in my pajamas mom, so no"
" You smell nice, that's good. Okay, I gotta go. Don't fight while I'm away, okay?"
" Okay," I said with a smile as she left my room. Mom, always so persistent with making me a diva. I can't be that girl, I'm just gonna be me...
" Hey, Trudy! " I squealed as my large rot toiler ran in my room and jumped on me causing me to fall, laughing as she licked my face.
" I see you're back from Grandpa's place huh? I really missed you buddy. But, I gotta go to my school now so, I'll see ya"
She barked and wagged her tail as I went to have my bath.

" She looks like a blonde Ariana Grande" I heard a girl say as I was using the restroom. Tia had forced me to take a selfie with her and she posted it on Instagram. The Ariana Grande comment was because of how Tia packed my hair up in a perfectly sleek ponytail, at least I think so.
" Gosh, she's hot. Everyone's talking about how hot she is, even Rex couldn't take his eyes off her."
My heart raced as I heard that, really? Rex couldn't take off his eyes from me? I might not be hopeless in getting him to date me after all!
" And she is such a firecracker, can you believe that she used to be so quiet and reserved? I was so impressed by how she dealt with that bitch"
" Me too. I wonder what she told Penny that made her back down"
" Duh, that I'd tell everyone the secret to her large ass" I said in my mind. Spending time, not talking to anyone but watching everyone, you learn a secret or two.
" Well, I don't care. I just think she's cool"
" Yeah, Isabella's got some competition, because it seems Tory's even prettier than her"

When I didn't hear them talk anymore, I left the restroom and walked into the Math class and everyone stopped talking.
" Tory! Looking smokin' hot girl" Zach said and I rolled my eyes as I went to take my seat.
" Hi Zach"
" Hi," he said in a higher-pitched voice and I chuckled. I looked outside, wondering when Rachel would come, then she just suddenly appeared, standing with Evangeline, a member of the students' committee on events.
I had always wanted to be part of them but, I never got nominated. Only Rachel did since she had friends amongst them. Rachel sat down and smiled at me, I smiled back and she was about to say something when I heard someone say.
" Hey Tory"
Who the heck is it? I wondered, when I turned around, it was Evangeline, she's never spoken to me before.
" Wow, to what do I owe this honor" I said trying to not seem surprised.
" Well, I came to give you this" she said handing me a nomination slip.
" Are you serious?!" I said, unable to hide my excitement and she grinned.
" Duh, after what you did yesterday? Of course, I'm nominating you. So what do you say?"
" I... Don't know"
" Shut up and accept it you stubborn girl" Rachel scolded playfully.
" This is a lot of responsibility Rachel, I don't know if I can handle it "
" Of course you can, if Rex Holland who has a hectic football practice schedule accepted a nomination why the hell can't you?" She said grinning and my heart raced again.
" Wait, Rex is now a member?"
" Of course," Rachel said smiling at me mischievously.
Just then Rex walked in and I stared at his perfection, that jet black hair that fell on his forehead giving him a sexy edge, his blue eyes and thin sexy lips, his intimidating 6'2 height all squeezed in his perfectly ironed uniform.
His cologne filled the class and I took a deep breath as I stared at him, wishing he would look at me at least, but the eyes I caught on me were Nate's, and I rolled my eyes when a smirk crept on his face.
" Sup Rya," he said as he sat down on the chair by my left.
" My name isn't Rya, I've told you a thousand times."
" It's is a cute short form of your hideous name " he chipped in.
" Who spells her name that way anyway - VICTORYA" He taunted further and I gritted my teeth so I wouldn't insult him, it is too early for me to start fighting.
" Leave her alone you jerk, I think the way you spell your name is fucking sexy Tory" Rex said and I gulped before I smiled at him.
" Hey baby," Isabella said as she sat on Rex's lap and they kissed.
Ugh!!!!!! I need to end this now.
" Evangeline, I'm in." I said and Evangeline smiled before she left the class.
