Traizle
"Are you sure you don't have any plans tonight?" Archane asked me for the 4th time.
I stopped wiping the table and looked at him. "Why? You have been asking me about that one. I won't be staying here this late if I have plans tonight. Right?" I asked him back.
He raised his hands in defeat. "I thought you had one, and I think you have one or did you just forget about it?" He replied.
I don't recall any plans for tonight. I already told Lyndon and Layzen that I would go home late because I would be working at the Snack Bar.
"Boss, does Traizle have any deliveries now?" Archane asked our boss.
Our boss answered, "None so far."
Archane sighed. "Too bad." he said.
Too bad, is what? Why does he want me to deliver and think if I have any plans for tonight? Although we are now close, this night is the most Archane did all the talks. Why is he being so talkative tonight?
I held his forehead. "You seem okay. You are not hot, either. What's wrong with you?" I asked him.
He distanced himself from me. "None, okay. I just thought you had a plan and forgot about it. That is why I kept on reminding you." he answered.
The bell chimed, and Kelvin came in. "Traizle, I saw your rich boss outside!" Kelvin yelled.
Wait? What? Is he outside?
"That is what I am talking about." Archane commented.
"Why didn't you tell me already?" I asked.
"It's not my fault, okay? I told him I could tell you he was outside, but he told me not to. He doesn't want to disturb your work." Archane replied.
I quickly head to our quarter room to get my bag. "Boss, I will go out now!" I exclaimed before running out to the door.
"Take care!" I heard them added.
After leaving, I saw Zarsuelo wearing a hoodie and mask beside the post. I approached him. "Why didn't you tell me that you were here?" I asked. "How many hours did you wait here? You should have texted me or gotten inside." I added.
He scratches his nape. "I don't want to disturb your work. I also wanted to see you working from here. Are you done working already?" Zarsuelo asked.
"Kelvin yelled the moment he got in that you were outside." I replied.
"I didn't notice him. I just met the new guy a while ago. I told him not to tell you about me, but your other friend told you about me." he shared.
Zarsuelo waiting for me means a lot already to me. My heart beats fast as if he did something more significant than confessing. Am I really into him now?
"Let's go on a date." I told him.
His eyes widen. "Come again?" He asked.
"Where do you want to go?" I asked. "Let's go on a date tonight since we aren't both busy." I told him.
He pinched my cheeks gently. "You can make me speechless with those sudden straightforward words coming from your mouth. Why so lovable, wife?" Zarsuelo said, even tapping me twice.
Is this how he shows his thrill? Cute.
"Did you eat your dinner already?" He asked.
"I only ate footlong a while ago. How about you?" I asked back.
He pouted. "Let's eat first. We need to fill that stomach of yours. I overate a while ago, but I still want to eat with you." he replied.
We only walk side by side to a nearby restaurant. I didn't argue with him anymore about the restaurant he chose. I don't want to ruin our first date. I let Zarsuelo decide what I would eat. After a few minutes of waiting, our order came.
"Ahh, excuse me. Where is the other juice?" I asked when I saw only one juice.
"I will explain it to her. You may now go back," Zarsuelo said. I only looked at the waiter walking away before I turned my head to him. "I only asked for one juice. I wanna try sipping the juice with you. I heard it was romantic." he added.
Ahh. One of his plans "I'm not going to say anything." I replied, continuing to eat.
"I have searched a lot about dating. I also have many lists I want to do with you. I will cross out the sipping with juice with my girlfriend later," he said excitedly before continuing to eat.
Hearing him calling me his girlfriend hits another bell. He can make me happy by just doing a small thing.
"Did you try this before?" Zarsuelo asked.
"What do you mean? This kind of setting?" I asked, and he nodded back. "We've done this before a few times too." I added.
"With Lyndon and Layzen?" He asked.
I shake my head. I suddenly want to tease him and see his reaction too. "It's with my ex-boyfriend." I explained.
His expression turned into a grimace. "How many boyfriends did you have already?" He asked.
I answered, "You will be number two if you leave me."
"Hey! Don't say that. We will be together for a long time, okay? I won't let you go," he replied. "But still, I hate your ex-boyfriend. He got you first." he added.
Looking at him eating like a kid, I saw a stain on his cheeks. He is indeed a kid. "Don't move," I told him.
"Huh, why? Are you going to smack me for saying those things? Sorry." he quickly replied.
I stood up a little and wiped the stain on his cheeks. "There's a stain on your cheek." I said.
"Can you let me get mad for a few minutes?" He asked. "I am about to get mad because someone got you first. And here you are, wiping my cheek. That's a foul." he added.
"I find it uncomfortable, so I decided to remove it." I answered.
"You made me fall in love with you repeatedly, Traizle. Why are you so awesome? I have been in love with you for years already, and doing those things can make me fall more." he complained.
After eating, we walked while talking about different things. He shared what it was like before. With his hands intertwined with mine, our first date wasn't bad.
I prefer this the most, just with my boyfriend, walking and talking. This is enough for me, and I am not asking for more. On our way home, Zarsuelo went inside to check on the two. They are already sleeping.
"You should visit them next time. Layzen has been asking about you." I told him.
"Really!" He answered excitedly.
"Yeah. It's been a while since you guys met again," I added. "He wants to play again with your toys."
"I will make sure to visit them next time. How about someone?" He asked.
"You are asking him too?" I asked back since he never tried to ask him anything.
"Of course, I got you already. I boasted that I have no reason to be on guard with them." he boasted.
I went outside with him. "Take care on your way. Text me when you get home." I told him.
"Okay. Thank you, wife. I am happy to be with you," Zarsuelo said. "I will go now. See you tomorrow," he added before kissing me on the forehead. "I heard girls love it when the boys kiss on their foreheads." he said.
"See you tomorrow." I replied.
Zarsuelo started to walk away. Looking from afar makes me think that it is worth it. "I miss you already! I love you!" He said.
Those words I can't even tell him for now.
I guess I can tell him next time.
