"What do you mean Natalie? I thought we talked about this? You are getting married in less than three hours, we are supposed to be on our way to the chapel soon, why the sudden change?"
Nicole asked, confused as to how to handle this, it was so not what she expected and she hadn't prepared for this. After their discussion yesterday it had crossed her mind but she had shoved it because Natalie had assured her that she won't bailout.
"I can't do this, I can't get married now,"
"You said yesterday that you won't bail out, why are you doing this now Natalie? What happened? You were excited until a few minutes ago, I just went to my room and bang, you decided you don't want to be married again, what are you going to do? "
"I don't know yet, I just know I don't want to be married,"
"You should have thought of that since it took two months or more to plan this wedding, you gave out invitations to people, not just any kind of people, big people, our relatives traveled from far, you got the media involved, and everyone is currently waiting for you, okay maybe not yet but soon people will start going to the chapel and what? You suddenly don't want to be married? I don't get it,"
"I can't do this okay? I just thought about it and I am not ready, I can't get married today,"
She said.
"You just thought about it? Natalie , what is wrong with you? How can you say this? As much as I don't like Rafael, you are the one who said he is a good person and what more, so why don't you want to marry him?"
"I never said anything was wrong with Rafael, I never even mentioned him, he is not the problem here, I just don't want to be married,"
"Listen to yourself talk Natalie , are you even thinking at all? So what do you plan on doing? Runaway? What about everyone who came for the wedding, how do you think this is going to turn out when they find out there will be no wedding?"
Nicole asked, she already felt tired of the discussion, it seems Natalie has made up her mind and nothing she says will change that.
"I never said there won't be a wedding either,"
"What do you mean? Are you going to go to the wedding and leave after?"
"No, I don't want to get married now but I don't want to regret not marrying Rafael,"
"So how do you intend to do this because I am not getting this whole conversation,"
"Natalie is going to be married but Natalie won't be there,"
She explained, she was talking nonsense because Nicole could not understand her rants, wait, what?
"What do you mean? Please don't tell me it is what I am thinking,"
"Yes, Nicole, I want you to get married in my place, it just going to be until I figure out myself, it's not going to be**"
"Shut the fuck up Natalie , you are out of your mind, you are crazy,"
Nicole yelled at her sister, no way was she going to let Natalie talk her into doing anything stupid.
"That's my problem with you, you never try to understand me, can't you see? Can't you see that I need your help? Do you think I can go to the church like this and not lose my mind? Is that what you want?"
"What? I am not going to do that, you are out of your mind Natalie , are you crazy? Did you drink something? How could you even think of that,"
Nicole yelled.
"Nicole, you are my sister, sisters are meant to help each other out, or do you want to see me go crazy? I am just asking you to temporarily represent me until I can come to my senses, if I don't show up at the wedding it would cause a huge deal, Rafael isn’t going to take it lightly with our family and we are all going to suffer it,"
"Now listen to yourself, you already know all these and you want me to get married pretending to be you? You are crazy, I am not going to do it and that's final, there is nothing you are going to tell me that will make me change my mind it either you get dressed and go to your wedding or you call your husband to be and tell him you want out, don't involve me, I wasn't there when you accepted his proposal,"
Nicole responded in anger.
"Please Nicole, I know I am asking for too much but don't just say no please,"
"I already said no, and we are running out of time, is this why you didn't want to stay at the hotel? Is this why you sent the stylist and makeup artists away early? Is this why you made us get matching stuff?"
Nicole asked, all her questions seem valid because why else would Natalie make them so much alike if she hadn't been planning this?
"I am going to admit that I planned this, but I didn't really think I was going to do this until I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I wasn't ready."
"God, just listen to yourself, I can't even deal with you right now, just how long have you been planning to not show up at your wedding? Why would you do that in the first place? Does it make sense to you? All those time you used to do this would have been spent seeing a marriage counselor, but when I suggested it you said you guys didn't need one,"
Nicole let out, they were running out of time and soon calls would start coming in. She needed to convince her twin to either change her mind or just call Rafael and tell him.
"Just choose by yourself Natalie , I will go get dressed, there isn't much time left,"
She said and left hoping Natalie would come to her senses, she went back to her room and called Ina who had left earlier, she needed to find out what was going on at the venue and just how many people were present and just how much trouble it might cause of Natalie decides not to show up, she already knew there will be huge trouble.
